They always change all my fluids they have cleaned off my battery for me each time I come in just because they are always super friendly and I feel like the price range is pretty affordable. Came in to get the oil changed on my 2000 BMW Z3 roadster around 5 pm Friday afternoon. Went well, got through in 10 minutes flat for my regularly scheduled oil change at 149,000 miles. Chris who works there owns the same year Z3 as mine did the job so I knew he knew all the tricks about the procedure. We traded some info about Z3s before I left the lube bay and was on my way. Knowledgeable staff makes for quick efficient service. I'll be returning at the next service interval for sure. read more

My finance went in for an oil change here back in July. When she got her car back, it was leaking oil from the oil drain plug. She took it back in, and the "technicians" claimed it never had a crush washer installed when she brought it in. This doesn't explain why it was NOT leaking before she took it in here. The employees there installed a crush washer and sent her on her way. Well, I notice her car is leaking oil worse than before. After climbing under her car, it appears when they installed the crush washer and torqued the bolt down, that they cracked her oil pan. Would not recommend this place. Doubt they will make it right, too. read more

I had to give a great review for Isacc at Sonora Lube Express. When I arrived I said that when I checked the oil, the level looked low, like my car needed oil. So he checked it out and told me the oil level was fine, plus it was not dirty or in need of changing. He went the extra mile and checked all the fluids, and added fluid to the windshield reservoir. These days when businesses are charging so much for their services, it's refreshing to unexpectedly get courtesy service for free. read more

We just got our oil changed here recently. We stayed in the car while they did the oil change - and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Sonora Express Lube in a convenient location - right off the 108, so if you're looking to grab some food - you can stop into Standard Pour, - or even grab some healthy groceries at the darling natural food store across the way. Dealing with car logistics is never fun - but this spot makes it easy and quick. We were in and out of here in 15 minutes. Win! Trust. read more

The guys were nice but they had nothing so we had to go to another one and they overcharged us.

These guys were really great, what a unique concept. Two mid-late-20's guys running this place. They even had the tact to try to help someone who had issues with the car wash next door while working on my car. All in all it was about $58 at the end of the day. Took maybe 20 minutes at most. They helped me decide on a high mileage oil, I declined the filter upsell. I'd go back. read more

This place was wonderful. I went there after dropping off my son at school hoping to get my van serviced before he got out of school. I drove up and was able to go in right away. I was able to stay in my vehicle while they serviced my car. They were very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. They serviced my car quickly. They asked me before performing any extra services for which they did quickly and professionally. I had a check engine light which I asked them to check for me. It turned out to be a simple code regarding my gas cap but the checked it and fixed it without any extra charges. I was out of there within 15 minutes and my van was much healthier and we were both happy. I will definitely be going back! read more

Was so expensive I declined the service. The dealer is less expensive. They wanted to charge me $30 more than I pay at the Toyota dealership. They wanted to charge me an extra $10 fee for my oil filter even though you only change the paper element. I have never been charged extra for my oil filter anywhere else. And let's talk about the "coupon" Two whole dollars off what would have been my most expensive oil change ever. read more

After waiting for 20 min to get an oil change I was told that the new ownership only carries Pennzoil. After the last 10 years of coming here I now have to find a new place that does not sell the worst oil made. read more

Too bad there aren't more stars. Amazing service on my first visit to the Sonora Express Lube on Pesce Way. Both Austin and Jason are polite, quick, and skilled. But Jason went well beyond his job description when he found a couple of acorns as he checked the air filter. On his own initiative, he removed the glove compartment and located a gigantic mass of nesting material and more nuts from the resident mice I have been unable to discourage for years. He cleared out all the mess including more stored nuts, cleaned or changed filters full of nasty bits, freed up my fresh air intake, and used compressed air to blow out all the vents in the heating system. I didn't even know all that was in there--and it could have ruined the engine! In minutes I not only had clean oil, I had a mouse-free car. I will never go anywhere else and recommend this company to everyone! read more

You bring your own fluids and filter and ask for an estimate that they don't give until the oil is drained. They charge you over 35.00 for labor and then try to upswell on services you don't need. The company does not have to register with the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) so the employees DO NOT have to give you an estimate. Be careful.... read more

An employee tried to upsell me some Teflon lube on my 2015 Honda with only 77K miles. Also told me my car was using oil because of "mountain roads". My car has never used a drop of oil in the past. He also didn't check my oil again after I started the car. Then he gave me a receipt with a checklist on it saying my tire pressure, air filter, etc. were checked and none of the items were actually checked except for the washer fluid and he filled it with water. I prefer to write good reviews but people should know to be careful at SEL. I certainly won't be going back. read more

This place will charge you for service you didn't ask for and for products that inflate the price. My son brought our Lexus for "a basic oil change". He told them "just a basic oil change". They finished and gave him a bill for $104.33! He questioned them why? They said they flushed the engine because the oil change was overdue (by one month!). They used 7 quarts of the most expensive oil they had, some "synthetic platinum", and they added additives. He did complain and the answer was, " Sorry that we didn't understand what you wanted. But now that the charges are in the computer, we can't reduce them". We will never return there, ever. And I strongly discourage anyone else from going there. They may be fast, but they will rip you off. Use extreme caution here. read more
