We have been looking for a quality and trustworthy mechanic for a few years after our previous…read moremechanic moved. We had heard of Rocky's from a neighbor and decided to give them a try. What a find! I thought the issue was the fuel pump and brought my truck to Dan. Dan was so thorough and even called to ask after diagnosing that the vehicle's issue wasn't the fuel pump but an electrical issue, if we still wanted to put in the new one. He was honest and could have just told us without our ever knowing, not replaced the fuel pump and we would have never been the wiser as the fuel pump was inside the gas tank. We could have saved a few hundred dollars but thought it wise with 195,000 miles on our truck, that we should put the new fuel pump in and Dan agreed. He found a few other issues that not diagnosed, could have left us stranded back in the forest. We will definitely use Dan again and have already recommended him to others. I got there and the owner wasn't in site. The people up front were nice, but they called the owner and he said I could monthly payments and that he wouldn't lower the price to what I was quoted over the phone, paper copy, and Voicemail that verified what I was told. They tried to upscale the price on me by almost $800 extra dollars. Where the heck did the price jump from? I will not recommend people and friends to go here. I told friends and family and was told I shouldn't have gone to them in first place to get my truck fixed and worked on. Learn from your mistakes is what I did. Don't recommend at all. The owner could respect what his front desk people told me the overall price was going to be out the door, but instead, he wants me to do monthly payments. I'm not doing that. Not a responsible thing for the owner to do. DO NOT RECOMMEND to get your vehicles serviced there or fixed.
