Great service & value! I called two days ago and spoke to John who said he could order tires and they would arrive in a day or two, so I made an appointment. Drove from about an hour away and right when I walked in was politely greeted and they put the tires on in about 20 minutes which is great! Super fast and efficient!! Took my car in to correct a shimmy I picked up after having a flat repaired here. 1. Was told they were booked solid! Showed up at 215 for my 230 appoitment to 3 empty stalls and they were taking a walk in. So not cool! 2. Paid 20 for a problem created here. Tipped the guy 20 after he confirmed it was the tire they fixed the flat on only to the next day yup you guessed it same shimmy on the highway at 60 mph. 3. Took my car to Mcoys they fixed the balance and no more shimmy free of charge for my future business. Wrights was soooo Wrong! read more

I bought 4 tires during the winter there service and prices was great. This morning my brother and I brought my Mom's Ford Focus to Wright Tire her lug nuts were swollen.. first I had never heard such a thing but evidently Fords and Toyotas are known for this swollen lug nuts. Ford quoted my Mom 300 dollars to replace these lug nuts there plastic that covers the actual lug nuts. My brother ordered actual lugs nuts steel lug nuts we brought them to Wright tire and they installed them for 10 dollars! We were quoted great price for a set a of tires for my Mom as well. It was a busy Thursday after Christmas so I though I'd have time to walk next door to Sonora Lumber. (Another great local business) I was wrong, in 15 minutes they had the car in the bay and fixed the leak. Checked the air pressure in all the tires and had me on my way. I needed a couple used tires, I couldn't afford new ones right now but they were completely bald and it snowed recently where I live and I already did a 180 and slid into the embankment once so i was scared it would happen again. I usually have a hard time finding my size in stock but when I called i was surprised to hear they had not one but three ! So I drove down an hour before they close on a Friday & they go me in immediately and had my back tires changed out in 10 min or less with tires that looked almost new! When I asked how much it would cost over the phone & they said $50 I thought they must mean each but when they said $50 total made my day! Best price I've ever paid ANYWHERE! Last used tire I had to get in Merced cost $60 for just one & it was the wrong one at that!f Definitely be going back here again ! I just wish they did struts too. I just got my second set of tires from them put on yesterday. I had them put tires on my car a few years ago, never had any issues or complaints. I put a lot of miles on my car so it was definitely time for a new set. I was happy with the price they offered me for four new tires on my all-wheel-drive SUV, and they even put on a loaner spare when they couldn't get my exact size in until the next day. I had an appointment, I was a few minutes late, and they still got me in right away and got the tires changed way faster than I anticipated. We moved here about a year and a half ago, I have been looking for a good tire shop and have been disappointed to find everything in town was a chain type of store who were super expensive. Someone my wife works with recomended Wrights and thank god she did! I brought my truck in and they had my truck done before I could finish a cup of coffee! I had gotten a flat on my way into Yosemite on a Friday night. I switched to my doughnut tire and was frantically looking for a place that would be able to help fix my tire for Saturday to still be able to enjoy my weekend inside the park. I would have driven on my doughnut tire but it was supposed to start snowing, so I didn't want to risk anything. I saw that they opened up at 7:30AM for Saturday, so I made the hour drive out to Sonora and arrived at 7:30AM to find them open with 3 guys working. I showed them my flat tire in the trunk and I thought I would have to purchase a new tire. Turns out they said they would we're able to easily patch that sucker up. They were quick and it was really cheap. I feel bad that I didn't leave them a tip because I didn't have any change, so I'd thought I'd leave a nice review instead. They were all friendly and the owner was super nice. I would highly recommend this place. I was in and out of there within 15 minutes!! read more

I would not consider going to any other shop when I need to buy or repair tires in the Sonora area. I had an emergency and needed to have a flat fixed. Wright's staff fixed my flat, reinstalled the tire and stowed the spare in the area beneath the back compartment (no easy task!) They were prompt, friendly and the price was much lower than I expected. They can be trusted to do the job right and at a fair price. read more
