The breakfast special
Joshua G.

The place has a amazing and welcoming atmosphere the staff is soo friendly, the food is by far the best cook the the head chef always makes his way to see the people and the best was the Big breakfast special with extra bacon. It comes with pancakes, waffles, eggs(your choice), home fries, and bacon.

Nice neighborhood type feel with the locals. Food was good and the home fries were well seasoned. The sausage gravy was good yet not up to par with the true southern seasoning. Very fun and friendly staff!

Yum!

Excellent breakfast! I had a cheese omelet and the hubby the kitchen sink. We couldn't finish, so took it home. This is a popular place. Did get seats, but it took a while to get a menu. Then, more waiting for ordering. But people were friendly, a tv was on, and great company so no big deal. Be prepared to spend time there. Food was excellent, reasonable prices, will definitely try lunch next time. Recommend to everyone!!

By far one of the best cooked bacon I've ever eaten. Omelets are a bit on the grease side but it's soooooo good.

We started with a really great two cheese crostini which was delicious. I paired that with a rye old fashioned (or two) and that drink really hit the spot. For my entree I had a meatball hero which was just as delicious the next day when I had the second half for lunch. The portion was huge and I loved the meatballs and the sauce. For dessert we had a cheesecake with a house made pistachio creme which was amazing. We had a chance to talk to Tim who I believe owns the place and we asked him about a sign we saw on the westside at Innovation Studios for a Rebellion Gastropub. He says he hopes to have that open early in the new year so we can't wait to try that out as well, especially since it's only a five minute drive. But it's worth a 20 minute drive or more to visit Rebellion and we'll definitely be back.

I made the tactical error of visiting Rosy Tomorrow's for a work meeting…read more Not because the meeting was bad, but because this place clearly deserves a version of me who is off the clock, has nowhere else to be, and is prepared to make several questionable menu decisions. The atmosphere is fantastic. The people, energy, truly one of a kind décor, and wonderfully unconventional menu all make the experience feel like much more than lunch. The staff was amazing, the food was very good, and the portions were generous. One wrap at our table looked like it may have missed a growth spurt, but everything else arrived ready to feed actual adults. One important logistical note: If you are especially well hydrated, choose your seat strategically. The restroom is on the bottom floor, and getting there may qualify as the day's cardio. I left with two strong conclusions: First, I really like this place. Second, conducting a work meeting here was like going to an amusement park to discuss spreadsheets. I cannot wait to return in a more appropriately fun frame of mind and work my way through everything I wanted to order but couldn't reasonably explain on an expense report. Consider this the preliminary review. The full investigation will require another visit, several friends, and absolutely no agenda.

Starting out with the aesthetic, not a fan and not a huge fan of the layout. The black painted walls and low ceilings make it feel a bit claustrophobic. There weren't really any decor up yet when I went so it just felt dark and dreary. You walk into the dining room with a bar on the right with bar seating (very tight fitting) and then a bar all the way on the left? It was also super hot in the building the night we went so our party of 3 just felt squeezed in and uncomfortable. But moving on the to the food. We really enjoyed it for the most part, the burger being the best. My steak was pretty fatty and tasted okay. I liked the salad part. We ordered the burrata for app and was confused that it doesn't come with bread or crackers? So we asked for some on the side and we had to giggle at how tiny the little pieces were and the serving size. We needed to ask for a second serving of bread. All in all I would try it again but I'll probably wait for them to establish more of a routine and direction. I really enjoyed Rein Osteria and will continue to go to that. So I'm hoping The Reserve goes in a little different direction so our community as more unique options.

Everything is brought out in ONE shot! Soup, salad, appetizers all at one time with the entree arriving very shortly thereafter - and at times WITH the aforementioned! Even when I mention this to the server, we still always wind up with everything at once or the main entrees coming less than a minute after the salad and or appetizer dishes get picked up! WHY? That happened this time as well and we watched it take place at the table next to us. The MAIN problem at this location is that the food prep is just not in line with the time you get your order. Food is regularly brought cold from sitting. For the third consecutive time, one of us ordered their 7-Pepper Sirloin Salad to experience the same debacle as in the past. Cold chilled salad topped with what was supposed to be warm to hot sirloin tips - but they were COLD... AGAIN! Between that and their weak drinks, I really have to find a new place when in the mood for steak and in the Danbury area.

I ordered the mushroom ravioli. I went to take my first bite however and found they'd brought out the lobster ravioli instead. After awhile of waiting they brought out the correct meal. They did comp the ravioli which was very nice and aside from the small mix up we had great service throughout. We'll definitely come back but it is pricier than our average meal out. Thanks to fellow helpers, we found this restaurant…read more Went during the week, and it wasn't busy. Just one other couple in the main dining room. Several couples at the bar. Had to wait a few minutes for the hostess, which gave us an opportunity to view their decor. Main dining room is actually divided in two but was spacious. Waitress immediately stopped by to get our drinks settled. She was welcoming and friendly. Their menu had a lot of choices, so we just ordered the fried calamari to start. In the meantime, she brought warm rolls while we decided on entrees. Saw photos of their hamburgers and knew my husband would love it. I had a hard choice between the hangar steak or seafood linguini . The calamari came out, so I went for the linguini . The calamari was so Good! Some of the hot peppers were also fried , so be careful. Had a bite and was choking, but just ate more calamari. A winner! Entrees came out and both were so good! My husband was so happy. His hand cut fries were so good too. Cooked exactly as he liked, with Gorgonzola for the cheese. My linguine was really good too. Had scallops and shrimp. There was so much pasta, I couldn't finish. Took it home. Unfortunately, no room for dessert, but I hear their crème brûlée is good too. Have to try it next time. Service was really good. Our waitress checked on us quite a bit. Checkout didn't take long either. In all, we had a terrific meal and good time. Can't wait to return. If you're interested in a good night, stop on by.
