Their old timey bar is a family favorite. We love their nachos and the beer selection is great!

I made the tactical error of visiting Rosy Tomorrow's for a work meeting. Not because the meeting was bad, but because this place clearly deserves a version of me who is off the clock, has nowhere else to be, and is prepared to make several questionable menu decisions. The atmosphere is fantastic. The people, energy, truly one of a kind décor, and wonderfully unconventional menu all make the experience feel like much more than lunch. The staff was amazing, the food was very good, and the portions were generous. One wrap at our table looked like it may have missed a growth spurt, but everything else arrived ready to feed actual adults. One important logistical note: If you are especially well hydrated, choose your seat strategically. The restroom is on the bottom floor, and getting there may qualify as the day's cardio. I left with two strong conclusions: First, I really like this place. Second, conducting a work meeting here was like going to an amusement park to discuss spreadsheets. I cannot wait to return in a more appropriately fun frame of mind and work my way through everything I wanted to order but couldn't reasonably explain on an expense report. Consider this the preliminary review. The full investigation will require another visit, several friends, and absolutely no agenda. read more

It saddens me to have to give such a low rating for a place that has a great atmosphere and friendly service. We were there for lunch on 2026 02 25. I ordered the tai chicken salad and was disappointed in the chicken. It tasted old and reheated. It was dry and not palatable. Additionally, the peanut sauce for the chicken and the dressing for the salad tasted watered down. The server was a wonderful young lady who was doing her best, but she was taking on too many tables by herself, and it was hard to get her attention. The manager was very friendly, but we felt a bit shortchanged because the place seemed to be cutting corners. I hope this place steps up their game, but for now, I'd have to advise people to pass on it. read more

I like this place, but today's visit wasn't that good. The peppered strip steak with rosemary garlic butter was chewy and rubbery despite having it ordered medium-rare. The flavor was good, but it may have been a bad-quality type of steak. The fisherman's chowder, on the other hand, was true comfort food. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was great. read more

Just received by delivery order of rosemary garlic butter strip stake and it was not good. It has a ton of dried rosemary and a huge amount of inedible peppercorns on it. Now worth my wait or eating. We enjoy this place but what a letdown. read more

On a road trip, my car suggested stopping here to eat. I made a pit stop for a beer and lunch. Rosy tomorrow's was a neat bar and restaurant. There was all manner of artifacts and brick a Brack hanging around the walls and ceiling, and a neat train on a platform around the bar, that activated when you throw in a $.25 donation to "charity." All this in an expansive dining room that spanned two floors, with a large center bar. The bartender was friendly and welcoming, and he made frequent stops to check in during the time there. I went with a Sea Hag IPA on draft and one of the specials "jersey dogs" which was two hot dogs on toasted buns topped with sliced potatoes, peppers and garlic and a side of fries. All of it was great. Seems like a solid neighborhood bar and restaurant choice in town. read more

This is an eclectic old world style bar and restaurant, easily visible from I-84 in Danbury near the NY border. The place is built around memorabilia from Danbury's history including a model train that runs around the bar ($0.25) and other interesting oddities. Service is super fun and friendly and our server Natalia was outstanding! Pub food was great- our wings, potato skins, and spinach and artichoke dip (served with veggies and chips and garlic bread strips) We had a great meal and a great time! read more

Five stars all the way. This place is family owned and operated for more than 40 years, and you can feel the pride the moment you walk in. The walls are covered with relics from the old Great Danbury Fair, and the 100-year-old bar gives the whole place a warm, lived-in charm that feels real, not staged. We tried the SouthWest Eggrolls with the guacamole ranch dipping sauce and they were seriously good. The Mushroom Panini was packed with portobello mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, red pepper pesto, tomatoes, and greens on rustic crust bread. Add Rosy's fries and you're set. The Pastrami on a Pretzel Roll was another winner with sautéed onions, Swiss, and whole grain mustard. Also came with Rosy's fries, which we happily demolished. Rebeca, our server, was awesome. Friendly, quick, and on top of everything without hovering. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Can't wait to come back. read more

The joint features an eclectic decor of dolls, props, carnival-themed items that look like coin operated fortune tellers from the Jersey boardwalk , and even a small replica biplane hanging from the ceiling. Beyond that tho, live music on Saturday night satiates its denizens who are enjoying a Sam Adams with their sliders. The French Dip sandwich is a must try, and can only be enjoyed with both sautéed onions and mushrooms added. For a change of pace, pair it with a side Caesar salad instead of (ho-hum) french fries. Don't expect subtle quiet ambiance here; just good food and good times. read more

My husband and I had a great experience at Rosy Tomorrows yesterday for dinner! We sat on the outside patio and loved it. Inside is super unique as well. We tried several martinis (they have so many fun ones, including dessert martinis!). Their nachos were super tasty for our appetizer. My husband got their wings, which were delicious, but if I had to nit pick, they were in the fryer just a tad too long. I got the seasonal scallop salad and wow they did an awesome job on the scallops!! Sometimes you never know at a place that doesn't specialize in seafood. Our server was super nice and attentive while serving a pretty busy section. read more

I feel a little sheepish giving a five-star review to an extremely casual pub, but they do a great job at what they do. Interesting menu, well-prepared, and staff who are attentive and familiar with the dishes and beers on offer. Warm, engaging atmosphere (of mature people, not kids) and often live music. It's an instant mood-lift. read more

Definitely a fun time here on St. Patrick's Day! My family and I came here to celebrate my uncle's 70th. We had 7 people in our party and they were able to accommodate us in a booth upstairs. The interior decorations are so funky! Gives it a more dive-y type experience. Our waitress was super nice, wish I remembered her name. We started off with the spinach and artichoke dip and nachos. The menu is very extensive but I decided to order the lobster Omlette for my entree. Each entree comes with a little treat; mine came with a chocolate scone. I ended my meal with an Irish coffee. My family did order a slice of key lime pie to share, and my uncle got the baked apple dessert. It was a very nice time! read more

Another delicious brunch here! Started off with a short rib poutine which was amazing! Crispy french fries nice short rib pieces, a wonderful gravy with a fried egg on top!. Loved it! For entrées we got the garbage burger and the French dip sandwich with mushrooms and cheese. The sandwich was excellent, with dripping cheeses and tasty beef. The burger was really juicy and delicious. We ended the meal with a banana supreme which was the perfect ending! Our server was really sweet and very efficient. I love this place! read more

Have been to Rosy Tomorrows 3 times now, including twice in our recent CT excursions. Waitresses are wonderful and friendly, chicken pot pie soup is delicious, crab legs (in their summer Seafood Fest) are the best we've ever had at a restaurant. Food timing is efficient, portions are plentiful, space between tables is perfect. And that's just the dining experience, besides the really cool décor and overall restaurant feel. We love Rosy Tomorrows! 2 hours away or else we'd have been there 30 times by now. We'll be back! read more

Amazing food!! So hard to find a seafood place especially those winter, but damn this place delivers!! Ordered a chowder for starter for my sister and I. I had the lobster sliders for meal and my sister got a crab cake! The place was very cozy and our server was very helpful. They were very busy that time and waited for few minutes, waited almost 15 minutes. Stood by the door and did this fortune teller thing by the door. Made us busy for a while. Also had creme brûlée for dessert and it was yummy! read more

We have enjoyed Rosy's for many years.. but for a while we stopped going because the quality of cooking varied a lot. I love their wings and the burger are the best and their fried calamari is so good. But the French onion soup is really inferior.. very brothy without many onions, croutons or French bread.. and the cheese crust is hardly there. a definite no.. they need to learn how to make it right. one of my favorite parts is Roger at the piano some evenings. read more

Amazing service, the bartender was fantastic, food was amazing, very cute place. Rustic and home town feel.

The atmosphere and service were excellent. I began with a cup of fish chowder, which contained chunks of lobster and fish in a creamy and delicious broth. The loaded potato skins appetizer was generously portioned. The fish taco was also very tasty. Overall, an A++ restaurant experience! read more

Everything was good and our server was great! Chicken quesadillas were spot on. The interior is worth checking out alone.

Go every Sunday for past few months to eat wings / Panini sandwiches / hamburgers / French onion soup / braised beef and a few other things off their menu... food has always been five out of five stars ... service has always been five out of five stars with HOPE taking care of us often... but everybody has been outstanding. And we get a special treat on Sunday the piano man absolutely amazing. We met one of the owners last Sunday. SEAN, a wonderful man as well. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get service is extremely top-notch. Food is great just a wonderful place to be. On top of it I take my wife to the Danberry mall in the morning to do a little bit of shopping. We go there for a late lunch. Just a wonderful day. Definitely a hidden gem of a restaurant. I still look forward to stopping in and enjoying a good meal. It is a nice place to bring your visiting family and friends.

This was a fun restaurant to visit when we stopped here for dinner back in August 2022. I looked for prior reviews for a great restaurant near the hotel we were staying at the start of a family trip and this place did not disappoint. The decor was fun, interesting and engaging for our 2 and 6 year olds. My husband and I got a scorpion bowl to split because well, after a long first vacation day with our children...we needed one. Wish it was a bit heavier on the alcohol to be honest, we should have each got our own! We all snacked on the spinach artichoke dip appetizer. It came piping hot with great veggies and tasty chips/bread. The kids had grilled cheese and hot dogs, both with fries. Our two year old really loved those hot dogs. I had the Blues Steak Stackers sandwich and my husband had the Brunch Burger. Both were great and cooked perfectly, although my husband felt that his could have been a bit more flavorful. All in all, this was a great visit and I'm happy we stopped here. read more

So I go ask the girl that sits at the table if we can sit upstairs at that one section and she said fine. And I think her and gave her a tip. Then The waiter comes over and gets all pissed off because we're sitting at a section that was cleaned for a party tomorrow so the sections closed and you can't go there because they're gonna have a party tomorrow. Then he would have to clean it again. Oh my God you'd have to do your job The place was pretty packed and there's no reason to close off a section that you're not using today. You're using tomorrow. what you can't clean it when we leave. Basically won't be going back there again didn't like the attitude I got from the waiter. it was a basically only an attitude it was angry yelling. read more

We were made to feel unwelcome. Waited 45m+ for food to arrive. Never offered water or anything but shifting and disingenuous explanations for the delay. Tables all around us, who arrived well after us, were served. Why? The owner, learning of our dismay only as we finally got up to leave, tried to help. But frankly our night was ruined. Patrons count on wait staff to be on your side. In this intance, the wait staff was most definitely not on our side. They made us feel unwelcome Not coming back. read more
