I'm keeping up the trend with 5 stars. This place is an adventure to find but honestly it was super easy once I realized that it was in the Ridgefield corporate center. Park on the left of the building relative to old ridgebury rd. close to boehringer ingelheim. Food was freshly made and delicious. They bake here and also make their own iced teas. Service was fast if you need to grab a quick bite so if you need a place for your lunch break, it will do the job. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is also lots of seating available if you choose to eat here. I got the tuna sandwich and it was delicious. They mixed in capers and pickles which added a tangy flavor and unique texture. Just awesome. Got a breakfast sandwich that was light, fluffy, and delicious. Great flavor, bread was PERFECT. I may have been so excited about how it tasted that I forgot to take a picture and just enjoyed it. I also tried the iced herbal raspberry tea. Delicious. Refreshing. Great place for a high quality breakfast. The people are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. I eat Paleo and it is hard to find meals on the road. Mothership Cafe makes, hands down, the best sandwiches I have ever had. Their soups, salads, pizzas and cookies are also delicious. Anna (the owner and entrepreneur) is lovely; I was so pleased to see that even after the launch of a successful business, she is still in the kitchen cooking and making sure her food is made with the highest quality ingredients. Anna is receptive to customer feedback and does everything she can to ensure their satisfaction. I do wish they would add green juice to the menu, though! read more

Oh my! Yelpers- you are so right! This place is a hidden gem! The women working there are super friendly and kind. The food we ate was amazing! What did we have? Daughter 1-grilled mozzarella with tomato on their homemade bread. Daughter 2- albacore tuna salad on their homemade bread. DH-grilled veggie and cheese stuffed bread. First, it's the de facto cafeteria for the office park that this place serves. You take an elevator to the basement, walk in, and it's like I work in the building. Now get over it. The good; - the bread is fantastic. - simple sandwiches, made well, with fresh, farm garnishes of lettuce, and tomato. - we ate outside, on the high quality, dense, poured cement picnic tables. Overlooking the large water fountain in the distance, the kind that cleans and renews the air conditioning fluids. But it LOOKS nice. Not overly priced, was a good lunch, and not overly filling. Came to this cafe the other day with a friend, with high expectations, and was let down very quickly when told their espresso machine was transferred to their new location on Main St, and they were unable to make me a latte. Why not order 2 espresso machines, if you have 2 locations? Anyway I ended up just ordering a regular coffee, with a scone which was okay, nothing exceptional to rave about. They were a bit hard to find being in a corporate building but when I got there it was really welcoming and nice. I work down the street so I'm not from that office building but it's was nice to go in. All their specials are written down and their menu is only online which is pretty Eco but kind of bad cause we want a menu at our office. The specials (panini with turkey, havarti cheese and honey mustard) was great and had a very tasty soup (lemon chicken soup) was beautifully done from scratch and so was the biscuit like bread that came with it. Only downfall is the location and menu availability other than those two items, the food and friendly service made up for it in spades. read more

The huevos rancheros are amazing. What stands out about it is the tortilla used: crispy outside, soft inside. Their chocolate crackle cookie had a great and unique mixture of crispiness and softness. And their coffee is of good quality. As I type this, I'm considering going back for more huevos rancheros. Really nice folks that work there btw. This place doesn't deserve to be in a corporate building, but it's own brick & mortar. I may have found my new go-to breakfast joint. Will come back for their lunches, too, and try that. This was my first visit to the mothership. The entrance is across from a little pond, for a nice casual outdoor eating experience. It is located inside of a corporate building, so if you go for an early breakfast or early afternoon lunch, you're likely to run into a bit of a rush. The staff was very efficient and friendly, and my order was ready within a few minutes, even though they were busy. I got the grilled chicken sandwich on a ciabatta roll. It was really good, fresh, simple, delicious. I also ordered a large iced vanilla latte, which was nice and strong, just how I like it. I could have used just a little bit more ice in it, but really no biggie. My total was around $12, which is about average. They also give you a free cookie if you check in on yelp while you're there! All in all a pleasant experience and I will be back! read more

I see the sign for this place as I drive by often, and the yelp reviews do not lie. I'm so glad I decided to stop in! Fluffiest quiche I've ever had in my life, with a delicious flaky crust (I am a pie-maker/crust snob, so that's saying something!), fantastic muffins and cookies, and a really tasty green smoothie! That's what my kids and I picked out when we went in today. Great, friendly service and not busy at all @10:30am. I imagine it's busier during breakfast/lunch when the employees in the office building stop in for their meals, but there's a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. A little difficult to find but worth it! It's in the back building so when you enter, the furthest lot on your left, some more signage would be appreciated. Some of the best service I have ever experienced! The staff truly cares about their customers. I bought some scones and used the free cookie offer, both delicious and had me wanting more! For lunch, I bought their special meat of the day, a pulled pork sandwich with an Asian slaw (I believe). It was amazing! I gave them a try. The location is not that hard to find. Walking in you feel out of place, feels like it's not for the public and just the corporate employees. I thought I ordered Ribs but was given a sad excuse for it. It was more like jerky. Super dry, really chewy and tasteless. It must have been sitting under the heat lamp for way too long. The only signage you see directs to what looks like, and is, the parking lot of a corporate building. After a bit of a search I found my way inside and on the ground floor near the main entrance is what is essentially a cafe and bakery for the building that's open to the public. Your order is cooked fresh to order right in front of you and is very well priced. I have had the pleasure of stopping at the silver air stream vendor that is the Mothership Bakery and Cafe. I believe they also have a shop inside of one of the executive buildings where the air stream is parked- although I have yet to see it since you can get almost everything from the air stream! I had a fantastic turkey sandwich with havarti cheese and an iced coffee. Superb- and the girl at the counter was super nice. The question is- Danbury needs a solid place where food trucks like these can hang- I work close- so to get out of the office and grab a quick coffee and sandwich is wonderful- even breakfast in the morning. The signs outside of the building could be bigger- it's hard to read them when you are driving by...woop woop mothership! read more

So cute. Opens at 0730 and closes at 2:30pm. I was a little afraid of coming because it is in an office complex, but it was super easy to find. Park near the water fountain and go in the back doors. You will see signs. The food and specials looked amazing. I stopped by for breakfast on my day off (Veterans Day). I've been dying to find a time that I could get here. The coffee is tasty, they had a wide variety of teas, and the muffins looked amazing. A lady next to me got a breakfast sandwich that looked so good. The lunch specials as well as the pre made salads looked so tasty. I am gluten free so I could not eat the breads, but they had macaroons (coconut kind), oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, and a frittata that I could eat. I didn't have the frittata because I'm not in a sausage mood, but it looked great. I hope to come back when I can eat a big meal. read more

My second time here. Never a disappointment. Had the best cream of mushroom soup the first time with a yummy vegetarian sandwich. Both were outstanding. So good that I had to return again. The second time I had a tasty thai coconut soup and a tuna melt. Everything was wonderful. Definitely recommend trying this restaurant. Everything is homemade and organic and they have a wonderful selection of pastries and teas. I got a gluten free brownie, which was perfectly soft with lots of chocolate. Mothership catered my wedding and they did a phenomenal job! The staff was friendly and professional. Everyone at the wedding loved the food and my personal favorite was the fish with the dill. The cake was beautiful but more importantly is was delicious! We first fell in love with Mothership's brick and mortar location. The breakfast sandwiches and strawberry rhubarb tart were yummy! We were stuck in traffic on 84 for hours! Saw this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. With 2 kids in the car screening for lunch, we had nothing to lose. It did not disappoint at all!!!! Everything made from scratch and tasted so fresh! I watched her make my chicken salad right in front of me! And did I mention, it's all from scratch! Even the bread! It's in a corporate office park, but had a beautiful fountain outside and benches where we could eat! Amazing! I would support local eateries instead of chain restaurants any day!
