The person in drive through had major attitude and when trying to order the only reply was "noooo" with a pronunciation or "nyoooo" with a damn attitude. We proceeded to ask what were available flavors of the blast with the same answer "nyoooo" so we just left. No explanation that basically no blast was available. Absolutely the worst customer service experience in my life. The intercom wasnt working and when we got to the window the server charged us for someone else's order. After refunding us, the manager then stubbornly refused to take our order at the window and told us we had to drive around the drive thru again, wait in line (for another 15 minutes) and place an order at the intercom which he insisted was working, despite the fact that we had waited 2 -3 minutes there without a response. This Sonic is close to the Page Lake Powell Campground and is very clean. The service we received was awesome and the food was well cooked and our drinks were good as well. Stopped by here on our way back from dinner before heading to our hotel. I use their app frequently and spent ten minutes trying to get it to work to order drinks since they are half off. I ended up paying full price at the parked space because the app would not finish the transaction. The internet seems to suck on that corner. Customer service was ok and although it took a bit longer to get my drink it was still pretty quick. My older brother's first job was at a Sonic when they had to rollerskake to your car and I used to frequent other locations later but this was not really that good of an experience. We got there around 3:30 in afternoon after our tour at upper antelope canyon, dry and ready for a tall cold drink we pulled in the stall and looked over the menu and pressed the big red order button. I am not a quiet person with a timid voice...more like James Earl Jones my voice tends to boom. So when I had to repeat my order twice it bugged me. When the young girl brought our order out I handed her a $20 and she said she didn't have change when or order was just over $15....really...? We had a bad experience at this Sonic. My husband and I visited here to get takeout the other evening. We ordered our typical 3 kid meals and 3 adult meals. When we received our receipt we realized they entered our order as individual items instead of the meal options we ordered, causing our bill to cost more. Thankfully, we checked our order before leaving. The 3 burgers were incorrect. They did correct 2 of the 3. The eggs in the burrito were browned from being overcooked. I will give kudos to the car hop and manager. They were extremely friendly and helpful in trying to correct our order. The manager offered to refund us; he said it will take around 5 days. I never tried the Sonic Drive-In in Gilroy, CA so I stopped by here on my roadtrip. First of all, if you've never been to a Sonic Drive-In (like me) then this next part may or may not help. lol The name itself gives you an idea of how things were supposed to be (aka you drive in and order your food then they bring the food to you to your car). I didn't want to eat in my car so I drove in and walked to their outside seating to order from the machine. There was no inside seating because that's where the employees worked. I ordered a medium combo #3 which was the Footlong Quarter Pound Coney with onion rings while my brother ordered the same but with tater tots. We waited a few minutes before our food came out. Everything tasted good to me. I should have ordered the ice cream but I guess I'll have to save that until the next visit to a Sonic Drive-In. read more

I was on my way to work today and decided I wanted a chicken slinger from Sonic, I love these things. I ordered two chicken slingers with Mayo and extra pickles ONLY.. the sandwich that is added to this review is the sandwich I received! Lettuce and tomato, ZERO Mayo and pickles on both sandwiches... I don't even like tomato's so it ruined it for me and I gave them to some guys in the park. It pissed me off and ruined my appetite. So my wife and I went to Sonic's Drive Thru at 10:22pm. I previously viewed their hours on google and it said they close at 11pm. When we started looking at the menu, the lights turned off. Puzzled, so we went to the speaking and asked if they were closed and no response. I get with COVID, hours might vary. We went to the window and no one acknowledged us. I look at the time chart posted on their window, and it even says 11pm on a Sunday. One girl had a headset on still, and another lady was taking off her apron and getting ready to leave. I wouldn't have minded if they told us through the speaker, "Hey we're closing early tonight due to low traffic." But just ignoring us was kinda rude. read more

The "large" branded popcorn chicken were mostly small bits of fried batter that were too tough to chew. The tots were cold, tried them as soon as i pulled away which was ironic because we were asked to wait a little longer while they cook the food. We were Sonic virgins. Seen their ads on TV but never been to one. Came by late one night for some kind of dessert. First we drove into a space, but backed out because the posted menus were too much to absorb while seated in a minivan. Then we parked and walked up to discover that there was no inside seating, but there was covered outdoor seating, A woman dining alone took pity on us and told us we could order at the outdoor seating menu board. She mentioned that shakes were half price after 8pm. Looked at my watch and it was 8:02pm! We ordered at the menu board, stuck our credit card in, and presto our order was delivered to us. I had to repeat my $43 order 4 times, then when I got to the window .. they asked if my order was the one with a cheeseburger and a drink I told them no my order was $43 and it was a big order.. They looked around and didn't have it apparently.. So I repeated it again and it was $47 .. we went over it again deleted what they had added in and it went down to $44 dollars .. When they gave me my order I double checked it at the window because I felt like they were struggling to get things right. At 6pm we kindly ask to get five route 44oz UnSweeten iced tea. Native American guy states he can't brew another iced tea. So they can only serve me 1 route 44oz tea. I asked why? You close until 11pm. He states he already has washed the containers for the rest of the night. He tells me I can't order from them because I just wanted him to brew more iced tea and he just seems like being flat out LAZY! He just is rude and has no manager professionalism. Why is it every time you go to Sonic in Page they always start out by telling you everything they are out of. Did you forget how to order? This is probably the worst Sonic we have been to across the country. Stopped here three times over the course of 2 days in Page. visit 1: placed order on app. Took 19 minutes for food to come out... drinks were missing flavors we added. None of the sauces we requested were brought out. Extras on burgers that we requested and were charged for didn't come out. Carbonated drinks noticeably have about 1/2 the normal amount of fountain drink carbonation. No napkins. visit 2: went to the drive through to avoid visit 1's issues. I pull up to the speaker. They tell me their internet is down, so they said they couldn't place orders. I said... can I place it through the app? That seems to be working. They say yes. So I submit the order. I ask which stall number I should type in, so that nothing get messed up. They say... pick any of them, it doesn't matter. So I pick #01. When I get to the window, they say... did you place the app order? I say yes. they say... can you pull into stall 01 and we'll bring it out? I say sure. I then pull around to the spot she just walked by. Which spot is it? Number one - excellent! Guess what. Somebody is parked there. so I just wait on the side nearby. Drink machine still messed up, no napkins, and no sauces again. But at least it was more like 5 minutes Wait time - presumably because they were just turning everyone else away due to the internet issue. Which... I'm still not sure how they got the mobile order if their internet was down. Visit 3: on our way out of town. 21 minutes for food to come out. Cold by the time we get it. Zero sauces, zero napkins, missing a drink entirely, one drink doesn't have lemons and limes in it. we decide to forget about all the other stuff and just say... can you bring out the missing drink and just put a lemon and lime in this one? Sure, she says. 4 minutes later she comes out with the missing drink and a lemon slice. no lime. Surprise! Apparently we didn't hear our six year old request something. We placed another order... order #4 for this trip. And we are waiting for that to come out. No joke, one item. No customization. It's been another 20 minutes, so far. There are only 5 cars parked in stalls on this side of the building. Perhaps they are playing a game in there and do our order in between rounds? I get it. Stuff happens every now and then. Four times in a row and reading through the last couple months of reviews? Sounds like a new crew is needed. read more
