This was hands down my least favorite place for frozen yogurt. I normally love frozen yogurt, especially the plain tart, but all of the flavors here were extra sweet. Even the popping bobas were overloaded with sugar! Upon walking in, there was a weird disinfectant smell (stronger than bleach). In hindsight, that was a sign to just leave... After tasting the samples, I was really disappointed. If you like extra sweet stuff then you might like it. Personally, but prefer my Asian frozen yogurt with a tartness. My niece only ate her gummy candies and dumped the yogurt and popping bobas. A quote from her: "It tastes really bad..." My brother felt bad that we tried the samples but didn't want to buy any, so he bought a cup only to throw it away after we left. We didn't try the boba drinks because we saw rows of containers of artificial flavors. Typically that's an indication that the drinks are bad. Me and my siblings got frozen yogurt recently and honestly? It was delicious! Very sweet and refreshing for Arizona heat. However, it is very pricy. For a small cup of froyo it was 10 bucks! The service is fast though, and the lady working there is actually quite nice. The atmosphere is alright, but there are almost always children running around when I go. This review is solely for the bubble tea: I'm 100% glad we stopped by this place for bubble tea/boba! We were hesitant to order some boba here as U-Swirl is a dedicated frozen yogurt shop that also serves drinks. We ordered the Thai Tea and Honeydew flavors and I have to say that the drinks themselves were comparable to some boba shops on the west coast. They were delicious! The Thai Tea included a drizzle of condensed milk around the cup, which also created a layer on the bottom. If you're lactose intolerant I would be weary of grabbing this drink before a hike! The Honeydew was as true to any honeydew teas I've ever had. No fruit puree, but that was no issue. Regrettably, we did not opt for including tapioca pearls/boba in our drinks. I've found that doing so sometimes alters the flavor of the drink itself. However, I believe the option of adding boba or popping boba to the drink is included in the price! If I had the chance to go again (we had to leave Page before the store opened the next day) I would have definitely tried the drink with boba included. One thing to note is the steep price for a single drink. 2 bubble teas ended up in a $13 total. Although the boba is included, this price is still a bit high in comparison to other places I have been to. For this reason I gave 4 stars out of 5. Overall, would recommend! read more

My gummy warms were extremely hard, even when I held them for a while in my mouth to warm up, they were still hard to chew, honestly felt like they were a bit too old. Spoiler Alert: FOOD POISONING Immediately upon walking in, you knew something was wrong... a subtle smell like soiled baby diapers wafted through the air. It appears that the family who was serving us lived there - a child about three years old laid on the floor, and a much younger child was being carried by the man tended to us. Not seeing clear prices anywhere should have been a second clue that something was wrong. My wife asked for a sample so she and my son could taste the vanilla "non-fat" flavor. The flavor of what they served could best be described as rotten/spoiled milk. The flavor was so disgusting that they did not eat the whole sample and immediately left. Less than 2 hours later, my wife was hit by a headache and stomach ache, and my son by extreme nausea. A short while later, my son experienced projectile vomiting. Now, for the skeptical, keep in mind we were out that night with a number of people, and everyone who DID NOT try U-Swirl was just fine. To sum it up, if you're looking for the stomach swirlies, then this is the place for you! It seems like, in reading the other reviews, this place is geared to rip off tourists with below average food and above average prices. This business would have been totally acceptable in some third-world back-alley, but for the average person, it is simply gross and unacceptable. read more

YES!!!! Finally a place that we know has AMAZING service and treats for the whole family!!! My wife and I stopped in with our sons friends and the staff was friendly and the kids loved it but also myself! After eating across the street, my friend had a sudden sweet tooth so we swung by u-swirl to appease her craving. I'm not sure how froyo can be bad, but I guess it can be mediocre... the froyo itself here wasn't bad, but the toppings did not seem fresh at all. I always top off my original froyo with some strawberries and mochi. The strawberries tasted like frozen strawberries (which I'm assuming most places use, but at least defrost them all the way) and the mochi was a bit hard. To put the cherry on top, this place was more expensive than NYC froyo! That just made me sad :'( read more

When I saw U-swirl, I decided to stop in. U-swirl is located next to a Subway and a Safeway; it's definitely a small shop with a few tables and a bit outdated. I didn't see a price anywhere how much they charged per pound, since this is the serve yourself type of place. There were only 4 or so yogurt options, I chose the chocolate/vanilla swirl, which was really yummy. As far as toppings go, there weren't many... maybe 10 different items? Clearly, not enough. There were decent choices of froyo, even had my favorite, coconut! I always put fruit on my froyo but their's looked like it had been sitting out (browning on apples or peaches..whatever it was) strawberries looked soggy. I opted for the fish egg things..can't go wrong with those. There are no signs saying how much the yogurt is but I assumed it'd be comparable to all other places. Nope. $23 for two bowls!!!!! WTH As I sat and ate I watched a mother and daughter walk in. It was clearly their first time there as well. The employee was pretty quick with the lady and don't help her at all.
