We ordered a couple beers (the pickle beer was legit), the carnivore pizza, and the cheese curds. All really good. The self serve water and soda is convenient too. Now our second visit made me love this place. The reunion was 30 family members on two house boats on Powell for a week. We had to preload those boats and by the time that chaos was done, us 'youngins' were beat and needed drinks and food. Sadly, we showed up at 8p, the kitchen was closed, and they close at 830p. But, we were able to order a round, sit on the patio, AND they let us deliver food to eat out there! We would have loved to eat their food but for them to be that flexible was awesome. My wife and I are visiting Page from Charlotte, North Carolina, and are staying in the area for several days while on vacation. Based on the reviews and reputation, we came here expecting this to be one of the nicer dining experiences in Page, especially for steak. Unfortunately, our experience did not come close to those expectations. I ordered the approximately $60 beef tenderloin filet, and my wife ordered the chicken. The biggest disappointment was the steak. What I received did not resemble the size, shape, texture, or tenderness I would normally associate with a filet mignon. It was a longer, flatter cut that reminded me much more of a flank-style steak. Even cooked medium, it was surprisingly tough and contained a significant amount of fat. The piece also appeared poorly trimmed before being cooked and sliced. For a restaurant positioning this as a premium filet at this price point, I expected a considerably better cut of beef. The bread service was also disappointing. The rolls were served at room temperature and did not taste particularly fresh. They were very soft and had a processed texture and flavor that reminded us of packaged grocery-store rolls rather than freshly prepared restaurant bread. Another surprising issue was the knife provided with my steak. I initially received a standard table knife that could barely cut through the meat. I eventually had to ask our server for a serrated steak knife, and the response was, essentially, that she would check to see whether they had one available. At a restaurant serving a roughly $60 steak, I would expect an appropriate steak knife to be provided automatically. The most unpleasant part of the experience, however, was the flies. Throughout our meal, approximately three or four flies repeatedly circled our table and food. They landed on both my meal and my wife's meal several times, and we found ourselves having to wave them away every few minutes. It became extremely distracting and made it difficult to enjoy dinner. I eat steak regularly and was genuinely looking forward to trying what appeared to be one of the better steak options in Page. Unfortunately, between the quality of the filet, the bread, the lack of an appropriate steak knife, and the flies constantly around our food, this was an extremely disappointing experience--especially considering the prices. We didn't try the boba drinks because we saw rows of containers of artificial flavors. Typically that's an indication that the drinks are bad. There were long sofas but what's missing were some small tables.
