The service was fast and friendly, but unfortunately that was the best part of my visit. I'm hoping the problems I'm going to discuss are due to this being a brand new location. The fries were super dense making them a chore to chew. They were also not hot, barely warm. I would guess they were heat lamp residents. The burger was tasty, but served messily. I did not leave and eat somewhere else. I stayed in my little stall and ate my food as soon as it was brought to me. So the messy burger was how it was packaged and delivered to my car. Finally, I now the franchisee has no control over this point, but it is still a bother. I drive around in an F-150 that is much taller than the normal car windows. I had to either hang out of my window or open my door to press the order button and use the debit card slot. It would have been awesome if Sonic corporate had considered that and either have elevated signs, placed the button and debit slot in the middle, or had two sets of button and slot - one at the top of the order station and one at the bottom. read more

We came a few weeks after they opened and had a good experience. Came another time for drinks and everything was fine. Until now we have also experienced the same issues as everyone else. Our order had more then just one item missing we had an additional sandwich we didn't order Burger and sandwiches are just thrown together with no care. To top it off our order was placed in advance for pick up, my partner comes to pick up item took more than 20+min to get his order. He had to contact staff twice regarding such order. Once we realized items were missing we contact the manager/supervisor and all we got was they would have missing items ready. We wait again for the missing items to be ready, we go up to the window the gentleman attending us was rude, and when asked if all the items that were missing were in the bag his response "I don't know". Truly hope the franchise takes a look at all the reviews and complaints of the community and does a revamp of staff. Service like this will be the end of the franchise on the island just like Diary Queen. read more

I made an order using the Sonic app, checked in at a stall, and the screen told me they would have my food out to me soon. I waited for 40 minutes, during which they closed the restaurant. Carhop delivered multiple orders to cars around me but never acknowledged us. When I went up to the drive-through window to ask about my order, they seemed way more concerned about dismissing any blame than about helping me. Apparently part of my order had been prepared and was sitting there the entire time I was waiting. They tried to give me cold fries and a melted slush, but instead I asked for a refund. I seriously question the intelligence and integrity of the people working here. Every single time they get my order wrong. Today I asked for a refund or a remake of my drink because it's the main reason I visited to have the Coca-Cola made dirty. My drink was made basically nothing but sweet cream, no lime. The remake was plain coke. Then they bring the correct drink the 3rd time. I open it up to see lime rinds that were completely squeezed or eaten. It's supposed to be one wedge in there. The service was fine. But the food was close to the worst hamburgers I have ever had. Do people in other Sonic Drive-ins locations like this? Left a terrible taste in my mouth. Did not taste like fresh ingredients. The shakes were not real ice cream and tasteless. And the way this place is set up makes no sense. You can go thru a drive thru or order from a parking spot where they give you everything in a bag. If you eat it there, they don't come pick up your trash. You gotta get out and cross the drive thru lane to get to the only trash can we saw. Funny, when you order and pay with credit card, they ask you to leave a tip. You gotta be kidding me! read more

This is the second time I ordered this item; the first time had a lot more pickle fries in it, enough for me to share, and each of us had as many pickle fries as seemed to be equal to this second order in its entirety. 2. The wait time just for pickle fries was about 20 minutes. They may have been busy or understaffed, but 20 minutes seems excessive for a single order of pickle fries. 3. Charging .49 for a water while certainly is a decision you, as a company, can make. It is hardly a positive experience. Not when I can get a free water at pretty much every other fast food. 4. This store STILL does not have access to the Sonic Mobile App. While all the other fast foods in this area do. I would also add that they did not ask me if I wanted sauce. When I pressed the red button again to speak to them. The employee was nice enough to say she would give them for free. But then, when the person brought the fries out, they did not bring the sauce, and she had to go back for it. Plus, it seemed the outside parking order window did not take my card, and so she had to take my card to charge it again. So you can see all of these items are not conducive to a positive experience. I would have given 1 star for seeming to provide less than a large portion when I paid for a large portion. I added a star for a 2-star review only because the employee who took the order and did not offer the sauce, apologized when I pressed the red button again to ask for the sauce, and decided not to charge me for them. I have attempted to provide input through the national helpline and requested contact from the manager three times now and nothing. They obviously know if they're struggling and don't care. Food was very good but completely ruined by the lady who took our order Angela. From the moment we pressed the button to take our order Angela was very rude and disrespectful. We had another in our group getting their order taken right after by her as well met with the same disrespect. We called inside and asked for a name, she answered the phone and told us her name. Not knowing is was the same people she just talked to she was even more disrespectful and rude over the phone. Go anywhere but here. Even after my credit card info was tried at the Sonic on opening day, clearly by someone working there, I still went back after getting a new card ordered. If I could give 0 starts I really world this place can't get their shit together at all. We have been waiting over an hour for them to remake our food and when we had gotten here we had set for our food to be ready at 4:00 pm and when we got our food it was ice cold and they tried to say it was our fault. The managers don't know what the hell they are doing and they are so backed up people in the stalls are leaving to jump into the drive through line I have seen people in the stalls for over an hour with no help. I am currently at the window waiting to be helped by someone. The service here is complete shit and they don't know what they are doing at all.
