I posted this review and YELP deleted all of my previous reviews of this hole in the wall establishment. I visited this store on 5-13-22 @ 2145 hours.I ordered two footlong coney dogs. Took them home to eat and the dogs were literally burnt to a crisp and covered up with chilli sauce. You cant tell me the employee wasnt aware of what he had just served a paying customer. We ordered a chicken strip basket and corn dog. They we cold. Have you ever not into a cold hot dog. My husband sat in line and could see our order. When he asked about it being warm upon paying the served said it had just come out. We called and they said they would put us on their list. After I got over my cold hot dog my husband went to get a warm meal and they said they didn't have our name on the list. He later called to talk to the manager. They no longer have the Reese's overload- fine- I ordered a Reese's blast add m&ms and they only put enough in the cover the top inch and then there wasn't any mixing s with the ice cream in the middle or bottom. Very disappointing. I usually order a medium but if I choose to return for ice cream I'll be getting a small. I feel jipped from enjoying the mix instead I enjoyed the first few bites and then had plain vanilla ice cream that I paid over $5 for. Grabbed a quick Sunday breakfast at this location - Roscoe was great from ordering through delivery, he has a super positive attitude and could teach customer service classes! I go to sonic very often and have for the last many years, and I am usually helped with kindness and always satisfied. Unfortunately last night when I went I waited 20+ minutes and it was not very busy. Absolutely the worst customer service. Quality of food is sub par. And definitely not up to health code standards. Especially when the chicken is still frozen. The manager informed me that they do not hand out napkins with meals unless they are asked for. Because according to her, napkins are a choking hazard. Now, I would think the small mints, salt packets, or even wrappers would be a choking hazard. But this is how they justify not giving napkins. As for kids meals, don't bother. They're advertised that they come with a toy, but unfortunately if you don't actually ask for the toy, they don't give those out either. Choking hazard? My last visit, after 15 minutes of waiting for ONE KIDS MEAL, and never receiving it, we left and went to Runza. By all means, do not contact corporate. I did. And then was called by the Beatrice manager with nothing but excuses for their lack of training their employees and inability to provide customer service. I was then told that I was not a nice person and that they don't appreciate me notifying corporate of their inadequacies. She then told me that I was not welcome t return to their Sonic. instead of addressing their lack of training and customer service, they make excuses and blame the customer. So the next time you don't get a napkin, its because they're concerned you will choke on it. read more

We let the kids get out to play on the playground and it was filthy! There was trash everywhere, ketchup on the picnic tables, broken playground equipment. The rubber on the equipment is so old it's cracked and unsafe and pinched my daughter's arm. We will never be back! read more

Nothing like going through the drive through to get a couple drinks during happy hour and have an employee make fun of you while the window is open. Happened to my wife today just before five pm. Daughter heard as well as three other employees in the business. They thought it was funny enough to laugh. My wife and daughter didn't find it as amusing. That there is great customer service. Customer service that should be shared with the world. I recommend you use the parking slots. That way you don't have to put up with hearing them make fun of you as you give them your money and business. read more

Fast food joint that doubles as a drive-in. They specialize in shakes and malts and all kinds of different deverages that are very tasty. They also have typical fast food fare like burgers hot dogs, fries, fried chicken, and a pretty good breakfast menu as well. What I enjoy the most though is there drinks and if you show up after 2 o'clock in the afternoon between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. you get half priced fountain drinks and slushies. Also usually during the summer months although they do extended after 8 p.m. they have half price shakes which is a great deal. Nothing on their menu is going to blow you away but in a pinch there fast and they have the best selection of beverages and shakes and desserts in town. read more

My husband thought he would pick up a treat for us after he got off work tonight.... what a disappointment and waste of money. He ordered two shakes after waiting 10 minutes he finally got our shakes. His was yummy (which we ended up sharing) but mine I just threw away. It was completely melted, warm and tasted nasty. It also had a hole in the bottom with another cup to try and cover up the fact that it had a hole. The second cup also had tons of melted ice cream!! We love to get a nice cold drink during the day, after our kids get out of school or after work but its more of an effort than it should be. We will now be driving 15 minutes to the next nearest sonic. They at least treat us right and we never have to worry about our orders being wrong. This isn't the first issue we have had with them. They have accused me of lying to them and sent out a free burger coupon after I spoke with corporate which I have not used to fix the situation. They just don't seem to care about customer service or loyal customers. They manager even told me that I will have to check my food and drinks every time I come here if is that big of a reoccurring problem. Sonic is pretty much an American classic but the food and service has been going down hill. Tonight my coney dog had so little chili on it I was able to pick it up and eat it without a fork. I thought to myself at least my Oreo cheesecake shake looked awesome.... as I took a big swig all I got was the taste of the cheesecake syrup out in to flavor it. I tried stirring it but no avail. This Sonic location never fails to amaze me, they just cant get it right. I ordered the Double Stack along with a kids meal hamburger for my kid. The order was brought out and as I get ready to go the person comes racing out saying the order was wrong. They take the sack back and are gone for 5 min. When they come back they say that it should be right now. I open the bag and take out the food and, you guessed it, it's cold. The food sat in the prep area while they fried another hamburger. When I got the Double Stack it was smaller than my kids hamburger and it had cheese and one pickle. Hastily thrown together and no ketchup? Stopped though south 48th Sonic on my way back to Beatrice Sunday about 6 pm. Ordered a double Cheeseburger with just Mayo. Told me the price, and it didn't sound right, but was in a hurry, and paid and left. When I got on Old Cheney, I opened it up, and it was a cheeseburger (single) with everything and mayo. Since I can't eat onions, the sandwich was useless to me. My wife picked the onions off, and the first bite showed a cold burger. What's up? read more

When you go for fast food we all know what to expect. Fast service, standard food, and a correct order. This place missed on two of three the last two times I've been there. We went for shakes one night after 8 (half price, who doesn't love that?) Three small shakes and they messed up two of them after we waited an abnormally long time with little other business at the site. Next time, two burgers and tots, the wait again was much too long but everything else was good. We'll chalk the second occurrence up to technical issues, they were having trouble with the comms.
