Shared parking lot with Barnes and noble and charred. We weren't seated immediately. They seated someone before us. One comment here was that someone walked past the hostess desk and just ignored us instead of informing us that someone is coming to seat us. - I know they are not rostered at the hostess desk. But it's just an expected behaviour in the hospitality line. There are a variety of seats available there- booths and tables and bar seating available. Casual ambiance- good for meals with friends. Apart from that everything was great. But our server Miriam more than made up for that little oversight. We got our drinks promptly. Blue moon beer and unsweetened iced tea together with a glass of water for the hubs. And we ordered spinach and artichoke dip for appetizers and later on, wings ( screaming habanero for the hubs) and a roasted chicken, apple and walnut salad for me. Spinach artichoke dip came with eggroll crisps instead of regular taco chips. Tasted really good but the chips were a bit brittle when dipped directly into the dip. I loved it but would have preferred I'd the chips would withstand the dipping action. Also the dip had more spinach than artichoke and not a lot of cheese. I loved it this way but thought it would be better with a better proportioned spinach artichoke and cheese proportions. My salad was really good. Fresh and yummy. One comment is that there seemed to be very small pieces of roasted chicken in the salad. I would have preferred a bigger bite size. Hubby's habanero wings were nicely done. He thought it could be spicier but it was good. Texture was perfect. All in all a good time. read more

We had a lovely lunch today. Started with a blue moon and tea. Ordered the spinach, artichoke dip with pasta chips. I had a craving for wings so I had the screaming habanero wings (drummies) with fries and she had the apple, walnut salad. The only comment on the food would be the dip. It was mostly spinach. Our waitress was awesome. Never missed a thing. read more

Terry the general manager , Was amazing he went above and beyond to help fix the issue I was having with Uber CHEATS. I was very pleased with the fact that my problem became his priority, as if was his own issue. Customer service like that is hard to find these days!! avoid Uber CHEATS so you don't get ripped off and still hungry. read more

Food is mediocre at best; pizza was extremely greasy; order was entered incorrectly and had to be sent back, the chicken caprese sandwich lacked flavor as chicken was very bland. The server was like the food, nothing outstanding, not very attentive and not sure she really wanted to be there.... Or at least that's the aire she gave... This restaurant is old and worn out, living on its past reputations! read more

Decent spot for a late night bite and drink, lots of space with plenty of T.Vs to watch a game. Our server was excellent super friendly great personality even on a late Friday night. All around food was decent nothing amazing but decent bar food, my wife really liked the cauliflower pizza crust light and not greasy. A good choice if your looking for a better bar type experience. read more

This was pretty rough. We walked in at 9pm on a Sunday after we finished going to the movies next door and two people walked past us at the host stand without greeting us or a quick "I'll be with you soon!" they acted really rude and seemed to be too busy catering to some regulars who had been sitting out on the patio for hours before we entered the movie theater. Took forever to get drinks ordered and delivered and the server was extremely unprofessional and didn't know what sauces for the bone-in wings were gluten free. "I think that one should be fine" or "that should be gluten free but I don't know" are inappropriate responses, the least you could do is go to the back and check. But he never offered to do that. We waited an hour for our food and were there for nearly two hours. The food was pretty good although not good enough to top the awful service. The place wasn't even busy and I could see two or three servers standing around talking and doing nothing. I genuinely don't care if I see employees talking with each other in the restaurant, but you need to wait on your tables first and make sure their food is cooking and they don't need anything before just standing around doing nothing. Sorry but it looks inappropriate to be giving horrible service and then just standing around neglecting your tables. If the kitchen was having a problem, they could've at least communicated that with us and seemed apologetic or sent a manager over to explain to us what was happening. I didn't really want to pay for my food after the awful service I received, but I'm not the type to throw a fit and I probably would have waited another 30 minutes to see the manager anyways. The atmosphere of the place seems cool but I'll never go back. read more

We met friends for dinner last night and our food was delicious. My husband and I split the 3fer and the pretzel sticks. I ordered a beer that took forever to get and a water that never came. Our service was AWFUL- we never did get our servers name... we would have happily ordered more beers but we never got the opportunity. We had to BEG for soft drink refills. And we had to remind our server that we had all ordered dessert that we hadn't received before we would be willing to pay. We have never had good service at this location - we try back every 8-12 months and continue to be disappointed. Back to carry out! read more

I left a 1 Star review on April 14, 2025. I would like to change that to a 5 star review but can't figure out how to do that there, so I will put it here. I was contacted by the general manager regarding the problems I had back then. He was very gracious and apologized for the missing salads. He sent a gift card to cover the cost of the salads and also sent certificates for two free meals. My thanks to the folks at Old Chicago. I am very happy with this outcome! read more

An okay place to get a bite and a beer after shopping or after a movie. But, certainly not a destination. We (party of two) stopped in after shopping on a Saturday afternoon. It was about 50 percent full with customers. Seated right away and we ordered a pizza. It was very disappointing. Regardless of the name, they do not have Chicago Style pizza. Their pizzas are no different than Pizza Hut. They have a fun selection of beers. Be sure to ask someone about all the custom beer steins behind the bar. The wait staff was wonderful. . 1) I made a mistake in my order and they fixed it. 2) Their soda machine mixture was off and they took care of it immediately. I would recommend this place. But not for the pizza. read more

Horrible food. Cold and uncooked. Do not order from here. The quantity and quality of food was horrendous. read more

The service was extremely slow. Extremely. Slow. There were less than 15 tables and it took over 30 minutes for our apps and food separately. 3 meals and it took over an hour. When I got my food it was so cold. Not even warm. The table next to us was loud and smoking weed, later to find out it was employees in uniform. The doorway was crowded by staff talking to cops. I had to get up and get my own to go boxes and check because our waitress failed to return to our table. read more

The food was good the pizza and burgers are delicious and the staff is super friendly and nice it is like you are family

Great pizza! Larger selection of non-alcoholic beer than I've seen elsewhere. Definitely recommend!

We were very surprised by the lack of quality ingredients and especially the presentation. We ordered a couple of beers and the Classic pizza. It came out with a big burnt bubble in the middle and hardly no toppings. I would have thrown this pizza away at home. The waitress could have cared less. Her attitude was we would be waiting like we just got there and no rush would be put on our pizza if we ordered a new one. We had things to do so we pushed it aside, asked it be credited to our bill and will NEVER return. Good luck! read more

I wanted to write great food. Greay atmosphere. Great service when i first drcided to vidit olf chicsgo. It did not happen. The waiting area is borrible. People tripping over themselves. If you have a kid or two prepared to keep them from getting teampled. Get a few benches or seats...you know you get busy. Holy coq....the $5 kid pizza is exactly the same pizza as the adult $12 pizza. RIP OFF!!!! I ordered a small and GOT THE SAME SIZE AS A KID. 2.5 times the price for the 3xact same size as a kids pixza. Wow. The first bill come with marked one pizza free....it was never adjusted to reflect. Second error that is in favor of tbem. I ask to get the bill adjusted to reflect manager writing. Here comes desert. I order the ice cream cookie Sunday off the kid menu for my three year old and a 9 inches desert for my wife and I. The kids one comes with 1 scoop of ice cream and the adult arrives with one scoop a hot pan and no playes. We use a napkin to eat the desert. The desert bill comes and the kid is chatted an adult price PLUS a scoop of ice cream What was supposed to be 1.59 desert turns into almost $5. Mess up after mess up after mess up. Make an adult small bigger than the kid pizza if you are g oing to charge $12. Get the waiting area fixed. Bring playes with a hot pan...using napkin to eat was no fun. Bring two s oops of ice cream with the large adult desert. If you differentiate between the kids meal and adult at least make the servings a noticeable difference in size. For those of you who do not have kids you would not see you are paying for a kids meal. For those who have kids...you will see what I am talking about Not going back. I hope this prompts some changes. I doubt it but I can at least hope. read more

Waited 15 minutes for our server who waited on tables that came in after us but we never flag her down. We got to and left and went to another place. Really poor service again. I will not go back. read more

This location of old Chicago far surpasses that of the downtown location. Better management and staff first of all and much better food. We like to sit at the bar to order food and drinks and that seems to be the spot to sit for the best service. Great rotating selections of beers as well as seasonal beer tours. I enjoy the sour and unique craft beer selections especially. Pizza and nachos are my go to favorites, wings are decent, and burgers are hit or miss. I usually avoid those because they are often over done. Overall everything else is above par and the place is pleasant to hang out at. read more

Really outstanding pizza. Wonderful crust! Hot and fresh! Sat at the bar & had fairly decent service. They were out of one appetizer, so we ordered fried pickles. Unfortunately, they came when the pizza did. The waiter was very apologetic & the manager wanted to take it off our bill, which was not necessary, but a nice gesture. I would highly recommend the pizza. A great beer selection & samples, if you ask. read more

I'm over this place. I've been getting T-shirts for 20 years from this place. I've seen managers come & go. I've got 29 tours completed. I've watched menu items come and go. Last night is the first time I've ever been treated like I was treated. If that's the idea of customer service, you've got loads to learn!!! I'm not sure I'll be back for a year. I had 1 beer and walked out after cancelling my order. It's disgusting to see a place that was like my local "cheers" turn into such a pathetic excuse for a restaurant. read more

Worst service I've ever received in Lincoln. My mother and I went to have lunch , we waited at the hostess stand for 15 mins. Servers kept passing us by , bartender would glance but not help. Finally we ended up sitting down at a semi full bar, bartender didn't even give us a menu when we tried to get her attention she ignored us. We ended up leaving. Treat all your customers the same. I will never be back at this location. read more

Today service was good and the server was pleasant. She greeted us in a pleasant manner and took our drink older. It took a while to get drinks and she had trouble keeping my drinks full. The pizza was average nothing special. It came out correctly but it came out cooler then normal. The pizza also did not have as much cheese as I would liked. read more

Chicago Pizza is not very vegetarian friendly. They have messed up my order by giving me meat 2 out of the 3 times I've been there. The first time, I ordered the macaroni and cheese sandwich without the bacon. However, no one bothered to tell me that there's actually bacon mixed in with the mac and cheese as well. The second time, I ordered macaroni and cheese with broccoli (carry out), and didn't realize until I got home that it was mac and cheese with CHICKEN and broccoli, so I couldn't eat it. Vegetarians, probably best to just stick to the veggie pizzas. read more

Probably one of if not the best late night food and drink spots around. Cheap beer and really cheap food! $3 for most pint beers unless they are high abv. and no alcohol over 5 is a great deal in my book! Various late night food items ranging from 2-4 making eating cheap really easy! Plus the bartenders are the best around town so it's a win win in my book! read more

I've eaten numerous types of pizzas from different restaurants and the chicken pizza was one of the best tasting pizzas I've had anywhere.

Our family went to Old Chicago Southpointe tonight for a family dinner. We recently had an unexpected death in our family and we have all been devastated. We've been together a lot in the last week. Our waiter was Anthony and he was terrific....very attentive, pleasant and personable. We also ran into Bobbi, a family friend, who works there. Bobbi worked with Anthony to provide us with a discount and a complimentary cookie to show her compassion for our tragic loss. We want to thank both Anthony & Bobbi and make sure Old Chicago knows they are outstanding employees!! Kudos to you both!! read more

Claustrophobia!! I am not a large person, but they pack the tables close together - combine that with a packed house (30+ min wait) and everyone wearing winter coats with no place to hang them - it's extremely uncomfortable. The most room I had all night was when I was breastfeeding in the bathroom stall. This is not an exaggeration. If you're waiting for a table, you're either in the way of a wait station or staring a diner in the face. Speaking of nursing - I cannot eat dairy due to my baby's intolerance. I asked twice for no cheese on my salad. It came with cheese. Waitress was polite & returned it. I had almost finished my new salad when I looked down & saw...cheese. Hoping I didn't eat any. read more

I really like the game day specials they have. the 2 for $8 or 3 for $11, its every dya theres a pro football game on. the portions are very filling. i usually get teh 3 for $11 and im always full before i get to me 3rd option. for a chain restaurant they offer very good in a warm atmosphere. its almost the kind of place i would come to with my FAC. The food and dirnk options are plentiful. The wings are actually very good, and i really like the buffalo chicken pizza. read more

my wife and I love this place. we often visit for good food and drinks. the staff is always friend, but can be slow at times when they get really busy. the beer mini-tours are always a lot of fun. this place is great for sports games and happy hour. happy hour includes half-price appetizers and cheaper drinks. you cant beat their full size apps for the price. the italian nachos and pepperoni rolls are both absolutely delicious and amazing and I am eat them weekly. the pizza is average, but they have the best meatball pizza in town. the strombolis and calzones are actually better than the pizza and completely filled with toppings of your choice. the chicago beef and classic italian sandwiches are out of this world. overall, a great environment for sports games, happy hour and a place to hang out with friends and famiy. read more

I have to say I prefer the downtown location, but this one is just as nice. A huge selection of beer, tvs, pool tables. Good service and outdoor dining during the right season. The food is basic and what you come to expect from a chain. Great for large groups. read more

Service was ok. The waiter wasn't very familiar with the beer choices but we'll give him the benefit of the doubt because we found out he was pretty new. The food was good, we ordered the Chicago 7 calzone which was delicious. The portion size is huge therefore I split it with another adult and each ordered a side salad. Fun atmosphere, they were willing to change the tv to our game and it was also opening night for a new brew tour. If we lived in the local area we would definitely take part in this. read more

Does not deserve any stars. After being an OC regular for 6 years we are done. Worst service I've ever received in a bar n grill. Waitress didnt even smile and acted like we were inconveniencing her by coming in at 9 to get food n beers. Took an hour to get our dinner order. Finished an appetizer that took 45 min to come out and were out of time. Many employees were at the bar eating and drinking I guess they get top.priority. new manager walks around shy and doesn't even ask tables looking right at them for help a word. Also.. Loud annoying reggae music was blasting. Bartenders choice? Terrible! Could not hold a conversation with music that loud. Bye OC !! read more

Usually a staple for our family. The other night we had an awful experience. It was busier than normal and my wife put our names down on a waitlist and stood near the bar area waiting for a table to open up. She had her eye on a booth and table right next to one another. As the table opened she gave it to an elderly couple and the booth was done not too long after. As she went to sit down in the booth she was told it was reserved for a family already, bar is OPEN seating. First come first serve. She was there for 40 minutes and was told they were trying to "shorten the wait list." The situation was handled very unprofessionally and that was upsetting considering the amount of time we spend inside the restaurant. read more

You know when there are at least 10 places in town to get better pizza it might be time to hang your hat on your calzones instead. The food is below average, it's on par with Applebee's. The only appeal is the bar and the broad selection of beer available. The appeal to this location is if you are waiting for others shopping or for a movie to start next door. This is part of a mall for those from out of town, and parking is in a huge lot facing the front of the restaurant. There is a beer garden/patio area available for outdoor seating. read more

The only reason I keep going back for the very wide selection of beer. It's great if you are into a noisy environment with servers who care more about flirting with the bartender than getting you taken care of. read more
