Picking up to-go from drive thru
Tan P.

This is my first visit to Sonic in Fillmore and it was on a weekday morning. I preordered on the Sonic app and had to wait about 5 minutes for my order to be ready. This location is smaller than most Sonic drive-in's and has fewer stalls to order. There is also no outdoor patio to sit and enjoy your meal. The food quality is standard and fresh, great value since it's fast food. The drive thru service was adequate speed and friendliness. I will return in the near future with my family to see if they still pass the test.

As someone who grew up w Sonic as a household favorite i was excited to finally have one locally! Service was great I ordered inside the restaurant where there are a couple tables to dine as well but got my order to go Service was fantastic very polite staff you could tell they're still learning things and getting used to it but overall no complaints. My order was exactly what I ordered. Everything was delicious. I did see another comment about the Styrofoam cups. I would change to that for the cherry limeade cause I did notice that mine melted right away other than that everything is great. Hope this business gets better reviews and it grows more and becomes a permanent staple in our community.

Very tasty and fast drive thru! The food was very fresh and the people were very nice! Lots of parking and it was easy to order! Fair prices

It's fast food! That's what I'll start this review off with. People are giving this brand new location bad reviews expecting a 5 star restaurant when it's fast food folks! It's located in Fillmore where it's conveniently located next 126. The parking to get to stalls is very odd and tight. The pillars on each side make it tight and the reach to the menu board to order is very hard to reach if you're in a smaller car. Then they can hear you well. They forgot our ketchup and mustard so I had to go inside where the workers were flustered with the amount of customers. Overall, I give it 5 of 5 as I had low expectations as I have eaten at a Sonic before. The food is ehh. The cherry lime aid is really why I came here. Overall they are learning and I still give them a high rating.

They weren't prepared for the customers. Theres one entrance was not good it was a long wait. The drive up window didn't work, Blanca came out to take our order, to pay for our order the window didn't work. The experience wasn't great. The ambiance gave me a vibe of modern day version of A&W. The food was good, it could've been better. The hamburger bun wasn't toasted. The meat was really good, the pickles not thrilled they had a taste between half dill, and have sweet pickles. The fries were good, a Little bit on the salty side, their honey mustard sauce yummy. I dipped my fries in the sauce OMG!! The grape slushy really good, tasty. I can see myself driving here again to try the experience again and hopefully it will better the next time around. Welcome to Ventura county Sonic

Fake bannana? No way. No styrofoam cups for slushies? No way. What a huge disappointment.

I ordered a small coffee chocolate chip on a sugar cone, while my partner ordered a small vanilla on a waffle cone. The employee was quick, and accurate with our order. For both ice creams, the subtotal was $13.20. It's important to keep in mind a "small" is really like three scoops here. The quality of the ice cream is perfect. Not too creamy, not too icy. Specifically, the coffee flavor has great strength and there's a plentiful amount of chocolate chips as well. They are definitely not skimping anywhere. I've also had the banana cream pie, and that is my second favorite. Sometimes if my sweet tooth is screaming, I'll get a medium and get those two flavors. As we were finishing up, the line started forming and they had to open up another window to serve customers while we were waiting for our ice cream. It's great to see the attentiveness of the employees there. Overall this is perfect to end a summer night, winter night, or even a date night! I can never say no to stopping by Handel's!

The very first time I came here I was so upset that I walked out after waiting in line for 30 minutes just to be completely ignored. I had high hopes of ordering a bunch of ice cream but in the end they ignored me and served the people in front of me and then behind me as I continued to wait. Maybe it's because I am a white girl but even when I tried to say hello? A few times they acted like they didn't hear me so I walked out. Waited about 40 minutes in total just to be ignored. The next time I went there it was not as bad. Still waited a long time and there was only 1 person ahead of me. Third time there was a great girl working there who was helpful and quick and friendly. They need more like her! The last two times were much better maybe because there wasn't a line. I spent nearly $100 on the ice cream last time I was there. When you're treated good you want to support the business, you know? If they had better customer service this place would be very very successful because overall their product is good. But they hire people who don't seem to care about the job or the customers. At least smile and seem like you like your job! If you look miserable you're going to make your customers feel miserable. Why I gave 3 stars: 1 star for they type of ice cream shop - love it! 1 star for product - love it! 1 star for variety - love it! The reason I didn't give 5 stars: -1 needs much better customer service -1 customers don't feel appreciated

Everything has always been delicious, and that's actually what brought me back. I remembered this place being amazing when I was in college about 10 years ago, so I was excited to return. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. We ordered 4 basic cheeseburgers, small fries, and only 2 drinks, and the total came to $67. For what we received, that price felt incredibly high, especially compared to other burger places nearby. The burgers looked great with all the fresh toppings and vegetables, but the flavor just wasn't there. They were big and visually appealing, yet surprisingly bland. It felt like a lot of ingredients piled together without much seasoning or taste to make the burger stand out. The one bright spot was the customer service. The staff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely sweet throughout our visit, which I really appreciated. Overall, I was shocked and disappointed. I don't mind spending $67 if the food is worth it, but in this case, it simply wasn't. The desserts and ice cream are still 5-star quality, but based on this experience, the burgers were mediocre, flavorless, and way too expensive for what they were.

This Yogurtland in Westlake Village, I will say, has been one of, if not the only one in the…read moreshopping areas on this side of the freeway to be a self-serve fro-yo ice cream store and still be in business after 10 years. They once competed with Menchies and Pink-berry both just across in adjacent shopping centers. Now, it's one of the go-to fro-yo places, if not Yozen Frogurt across the freeway. Between the two, if you're looking for fro-yo, Yogurtland is the way to go. If you're looking for a sweet treat or any kind of ice cream, Yogurtland typically isn't my first choice. Every single time I've come to this location, at least one of the flavors doesn't work and is just liquid. There's not always a sign, and this most recent time, it was their tart and root-beer float flavors. The flavors that they did have were good and offered a variety of around 10 options, some of which change based on new promotions or events happening. When it comes to dairy free, I think they had only one sorbet flavor unfortunately. For their toppings, there's a bunch to choose from like fruit, candy, mochi, cereal, sauces, and more. My sister and I put ours on the scale, paid, and sat outside to eat. When it comes to price, Yogurtland isn't bad, but they're definitely not great and have raised their price per ounce. Now, they're about $0.70-$0.85 an ounce, but it really ranges based on location, some going up to $1.35 an ounce. Even so, that means that a pint of ice cream would cost you $13.60 without tax, when a normal pint of ice cream at the store is around $3-$5. That's like having three pints of ice cream vs. one. They have seating inside and outside, which is nice, as well as a fountain outside with the neighboring restaurants and stores. This is a place where a lot of the surrounding high school students come through, so I wouldn't expect peace and quiet, even though the neighborhoods typically are. The workers at Yogurtland have also pretty much always have been high schoolers or college students, and most of the time, there seems to be only one person working, so sometimes the process can be a bit timely. Overall, Yogurtland isn't a bad place to grab fro-yo, but if you want ice cream or a sweet treat, you might be better off spending the same money, if not less, getting a pint of Ben and Jerry's at the grocery store across the street.
