    Carne Asada Burrito
    Michelle M.

Stopped by since we've passed by Yanni's quite a few times and we decided to give it try. We ordered a carne asada burrito, which was good, although it doesn't rank high in regards to the way it's seasoned and/or delicious taste. We also ordered the tacos dorados meal. The beans were cold, not sure why, everything else was warm. We went through the drive and opened the our meals right after driving off.Tacos were ok as well. The service was great! The person who took our order via the drive through was nice along with the person who gave us our food. The decorations looked cute and welcoming looking in as I waited for our food. They also serve sandwiches and burgers, etc. I say they have a selection of food to choose from. Maybe we'll be back to try something else.

    Mediterranean grilled cheese

We were on a road trip traveling through Fillmore on our way to Sequoia national Park. There are no good pastrami places in Florida like there are in California. We happen to see Yanni's roadside sign advertising pastrami so we had to stop and go in. It's a nice roadside burger joint offering up a smattering of Mexican, Greek and American fare. There are several tables on the inside, and it was neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. I ordered the pastrami meal and my friend ordered the Mediterranean grilled cheese. My pastrami was very good, just the right amount of mustard and pickles. My only concern, and one of the reasons I took a point off was the bread was hard at the bottom. Not sure if it was stale or just right out, but the pastrami meat more than made up for it. My friend ordered the Mediterranean grilled cheese. She states it was very good with vegetables mixed in with the cheese. Her only concern was the 12.99 price for a grilled cheese sandwich. The pastrami alone was 14.99 and to make it a meal added an extra 3.50. ? California prices. Overall, a very good meal and they had so many offerings including all day breakfast. I would wanna come back just to try some of the other food they had.

Texas Burger with chili cheese fries
    Ramiro V.

This was the first time trying this place out on the way to Santa Barbera and I have to say it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. So I ordered the Texas burger which sounded good and looked good but was to salty for my tastes. I also ordered a chili cheese fries which also was a big disappointment. The chili was not good at all but the fries were good so I just ate around the chili for the most part. The service was fast and friendly. It had that old dinner vibes which is always nice. Not sure if I'd come here again, so can't really recommend it.

    Gyro Sandwich

Update: I returned for another visit and dined inside. It smelled like sewage that day (and service at register was meh) so I would try the drive-through instead.

The ground beef was not cooked, right plus, the hamburger buns was soggy, and they poured the whole salt onto the ground beef.

I was craving a hamburger homemade it was not cooked right the ground beef plus they pour the whole salt on the ground. Beef patty tested horrible. The buns of the hamburger was so soggy. What a disappointment

    Chorizo burrito

Never going back to this place again. it's been like 3 times when they dont give me the right order & also the second time they give me food from past days. I order two small chorizo burritos & they smelled so bad !!! they put the leftovers in the fridge & warm them up again!!

    Kids chicken strips and fries

Man this is my go to spot when I drive through Fillmore. They have the best gyro. This visit was no different, got the gyro, avocado bacon cheeseburger, and a kids chicken strip meal. Food is always fresh and flavorful, service is always on point, and always clean inside. I've never had a bad meal. Highly recommend this spot, especially the gyro sandwich. Stop by and check it out.

    Tacos, rice and beans

Made a stop here for dinner on our way home from the coast. I ordered 2 chicken tacos with rice and beans. Everything was made fresh to order and was delicious. Staff was friendly and restaurant was super clean!

My meal was great would get it again , the Jamaica juice was also really good The outside setting was also really nice

    Nicole M.

Waited in the drive-thru for 40 minutes, only to get home and have inedible food. Eggs were not cooked thoroughly throughout (brown and dry on the outside and not cooked inside) , hash browns were definitely not 'well done' and the toast was not toasted. My daughter's food was made in a similar fashion and made her physically ill. The quality has gone downhill. Very disappointed. Even my cat would not eat the eggs and he loves eggs. Awful

All fresh. However. If you go here, MAKE SURE to check your bag before you leave. Three times, they have charged us for loaves of bread that didn't make it into the bag. Today, they forgot a sandwich and a loaf of bread and annoyingly, when I told them about the missing items, they sliced the bread before putting it in the bag. I didn't realize until way later in the day. I did not ask for that and I don't like the bread sliced there -- it goes bad way quicker. So, go there, love it, spend a lot (you will) and it's totally worth it. But I sure wish they had a better mechanism for filling orders correctly.

They have a parking lot in the back! Went in on a Saturday evening and it was really dead around 5pm! They have a full bar, massive margaritas that they will make Virgin if you ask. My dad had a few beers, I had the Jamaica with horchata in it (creamy, sweet, delicious!) their chips and salsa are also addictingly crunchy and satisfying. I loved their salsa, it has depth to it and I couldn't stop myself from eating it! I ordered the green enchiladas (one chicken and one cheese) they are gluten free. Served along side rice, beans, and sour cream. There was a lot of cheese and I couldn't finish it (just because it was so rich!) I took home the leftovers to eat the following day. The dish was fanatic, next time I could stick to the chicken enchiladas, there was plenty of cheese! The rice was cooked perfectly, the beans were a little runny. My dad had the chili rellanos and said they were good, but smaller in size than the last time he had been. He finished his plate! My side salad was nothing to write home about, small portion. Price was decent, $65 for 2 beers, one drink, 2 entrees and a side salad. The service... I feel bad saying this. One of the girls that served us moved very slowly.. she had only 2 other tables besides us that she was attending. It took her a long time to come back when we asked for drinks (I never got a refill) my dad waited 30 min for his second beer. The food came out of the kitchen at a decent speed but the server was taking her time. Another server there was quickly bussing tables, taking orders, and making sure everyone was tended to. If you're a server please look up and scan the room to know if someone needs something!! We couldn't flag her down and this is a small one room restaurant. She could use some training. Luckily the other girl helped give us our check, and took care of the rest. The restaurant itself is charming, cute and quant. I would come for margaritas with the girls. The paintings on the wall could use some improvement.

My wife and I were driving through Ventura County during a storm and decided to stop for lunch. On our way home, we came across Central Station--a Sports Bar and Grill--and honestly, what more could you ask for on a rainy day? The place opens at 11 a.m., and when we arrived, we were welcomed into a restaurant with outdoor seating, a decent-sized dining area, and a full bar. There were several TVs throughout, making it a great spot to watch sports while enjoying food and drinks. Once seated, our host Monique provided exceptional service. She got us seated right away, took our drink order promptly, and gave us plenty of time to review their massive menu--which, by the way, made it very hard to choose. From breakfast burritos and salads to tri-tip sandwiches, wings, pizza, sampler platters, grilled chicken, and more, everything sounded delicious. Before ordering food, we checked out the drink options. They offer plenty of domestic and imported beers, both bottled and on draft. I'm a simple guy, so I went with my favorite Miller Lite, which was ice-cold and refreshing. My wife ordered a Bloody Mary and said it was very good--so good I wish I had taken a photo of it. We decided on the sampler platter since it had a variety of finger foods we love: buffalo wings, chicken strips, potato skins, BBQ pork ribs, and flautas. While waiting, I couldn't resist adding a side of my favorite--steak fries. When the food arrived, I was amazed at how much we received for such a reasonable price. Everything on the platter was hot, flavorful, and satisfying. The wings were spicy, the pork tips were sweet and tender, and overall the platter was excellent. The only small downside was that the chicken strips weren't as hot as the rest and were slightly dry, but dipping them in buffalo sauce made up for it. The steak fries were massive--I couldn't even finish them. They were fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned (with a little help from me). The buffalo sauce paired amazingly with the fries. Overall, this was a great experience trying a new lunch spot in Ventura County. Affordable prices, great-tasting food and drinks, friendly service, and a beautiful city to enjoy while passing through Highway 126. I highly recommend Central Station to anyone looking for good food, drinks, or a relaxed place to unwind.
