This was a good place to eat when it was Yanni's. 3 weeks ago, ownership changed and it is now called Winston's. Menu is the sake, but quality and taste is AWFUL. Service is terrible. They removed napkin dispensers, and now you have to use what they give you. Similarly, if you want condiments, you have to ask and they limit what they give regardless of how many people are dining. Also, they have turned off their a/c so the heat is unbearable -- ridiculous considering their kitchen is a few feet from their dining area. I say #SKIPit, this is an absolute #FAIL. read more

BIL's house is out here, and we Doordashed them for lunch. They remind me of Torrance's Y'Not, a diner-style place with a drive-thru and a very extensive menu, one I'm quite fond of. The Pastrami Sandwich is a good one, thin-sliced, hot on a hoagie. And the fries are alright. The Gyro Sandwich is always a personal favorite, and this one is exactly what I'd expect. The slices are seared, the pita is fluffy and warm, and the tzatziki has a nice texture. The prices are reasonable as the portions are huge. Plenty of food, plenty of fun. read more

We were on a road trip traveling through Fillmore on our way to Sequoia national Park. There are no good pastrami places in Florida like there are in California. We happen to see Yanni's roadside sign advertising pastrami so we had to stop and go in. It's a nice roadside burger joint offering up a smattering of Mexican, Greek and American fare. There are several tables on the inside, and it was neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. I ordered the pastrami meal and my friend ordered the Mediterranean grilled cheese. My pastrami was very good, just the right amount of mustard and pickles. My only concern, and one of the reasons I took a point off was the bread was hard at the bottom. Not sure if it was stale or just right out, but the pastrami meat more than made up for it. My friend ordered the Mediterranean grilled cheese. She states it was very good with vegetables mixed in with the cheese. Her only concern was the 12.99 price for a grilled cheese sandwich. The pastrami alone was 14.99 and to make it a meal added an extra 3.50. ? California prices. Overall, a very good meal and they had so many offerings including all day breakfast. This was the first time trying this place out on the way to Santa Barbera and I have to say it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. So I ordered the Texas burger which sounded good and looked good but was to salty for my tastes. I also ordered a chili cheese fries which also was a big disappointment. The chili was not good at all but the fries were good so I just ate around the chili for the most part. The service was fast and friendly. It had that old dinner vibes which is always nice. Cashier asked, would you like the combo? Yes, could I have a Greek salad instead of the French fries? Sure! He the charged me for the combo (sandwich, drink & fries) PLUS a full Greek salad. Total price for this bargain meal? $28.00!! What?! When he brought out my meal, guess what - no fries!! When I asked him why I was charged for french fries, which I didn't want, and did not receive. He was flummoxed. He stood thinking. I asked if he'd give me a refund for the missing fries. "That's how it comes" he said ... oh, so I'm supposed to pay for fries I don't want and haven't received? Waited in the drive-thru for 40 minutes, only to get home and have inedible food. Eggs were not cooked thoroughly throughout (brown and dry on the outside and not cooked inside) , hash browns were definitely not 'well done' and the toast was not toasted.
