The only problem, the credit card reader on the sign was broken and no one told you that so you think that you can only pay cash. Only when the food comes out do they tell you can still pay by card. Went through the drive in and this is what occurred. 1. Speaker did not work - I couldn't understand a word the person at the other end was saying nor could I hear that person. 2. I ordered 2 All American Hot Dogs. I received 1 All American Hot Dog and 1 Chili Dog. Apparently, the employees there don't know the difference. 3. I took the Hot Dog back and talked to the manager who said there must have been a 'mix-up'. I waited to receive my correct order. 4. The Hot Dog I was given was an All American Hot Dog, but the bun must have been run through water or some other liquid as it was soaked. It was inedible and I had to throw it out. 5. The receipt has a number to call or text to and I tried the text, but it did not go through as the number was invalid. 6. I tried to call the number - the recording said there was a 15 minute wait. I hung up after 1 hours. The recording also kept saying 'Thank you for continuing to holding'. Clearly English is not a 1st language for whoever recorded the message. 7. Chocolate Milkshake Review - $5.00 W / a standard straw and Not Very Good, foamy texture and not much chocolate flavor. Obviously from a machine, whip cream on top was waxy / oily. Styrofoam cup is nice but have had better shakes at McDonalds and Burger King. Would never order a milkshake here again. OMG, tried a Steak 'N Shake Chocolate Shake and had to pull over from the brain freeze. Big straw, great texture, super chocolate flavor, foam cup and the same price as all the pretenders. I love Sonic.It's a great option especially when out and about running errands.This is my 3rd time there Within the month.First is was a hot dog and tots.Simple.The bun was soggy(from what I do not know) and the tots were rubbery...The 2nd time was one of the breakfast sammichs...Tasted old and also rubbery.Ended up throwing it away.Today I had a cheeseburger and fries.The burger was cold...The fries were completely vintage and could not be consumed at all. I tried...I tried not once.not twice; but three times really hoping I caught it on a " bad day". The staff is always more than superb which is why I gave stars. There was a time when I looked at Sonic to satisfy my corny and tater tot fix, but it's been sometime since that's been the case. I've witnessed a number of these drive-in restaurants close in the past few years so when I noticed this one while driving by even with the droves of negative reviews I decided to give them a shot after all it was lunch time and the place was close to fifty percentage filled and the drive through was backed up about ten cars deep not a back sign even for a place that reviews at two stars - as I folded my mirrors in to fit into the tight space I admittedly was looking forward to getting my order in and chowing down on a foot long corny with mustard, chili and cheese and some of those hot tater tots I've always loved and to chase this all down could be nothing other than their infamous limeade. One number seven please I shouted after I pushed the button on the well lit digital menu board, and the immediate response acknowledging my order was music to my ears, it's virtually impossible to screw up such a simple order I thought. The car hop was really busy racing between cars, jumping curbs, swinging around the poles toting those red trays filled with deliciousness, each time she appeared I checked the window height and recounted my money not wanting to waste anytime, only to find it wasn't my order, it's as if everyone arrived five minutes before me - finally she appeared out of no where, in a panic I hit the window button and dropped my change as the window disappeared into the door as she stood there in disbelief with that "what a bumbling idiot look on her face" finally she delivers and leaves in a flash I reach for a tot as I place the limeade in the cup holder and the corny on the console. Then I realized how disappointment feels - the tots were cold and old so I toss them aside I don't like nor will I eat cold tots, I reached for the dog and felt the heat through the foil sleeve and my spirits recovered but only until I slid it out and all the chili and cheese stayed inside the wrapper pasted to the clear panel so I could see all the goodness just out of reach what a mess, but despite the minutes ticking away from my lunch hour I managed to salvage a few bites and still had my amazing limeade for the drive back. Lesson learned trust the Yelper, not saying I won't return it's just going to be awhile... read more

I wish I could give it zero stars. They had no bottled water so instead of giving me a refund at the window, they gave me coupons...EXPIRED ones. The mozzarella sticks were stale, old, and hard and extremely greasy. No mustard or ketchup for my corn dog which was also too greasy to eat and the burger was inedible. Horrible. read more

Perfect place for a post dinner treat! I don't understand all of the negative reviews-- although, I didn't order actual food either. We ordered a coconut cream slush and a Reese's blast. Both were delicious. Although, a small of the blast was massive! I'll definitely be getting a mini next time. Service was friendly and quick! No complaints here. read more

Sonic gets 5 stars today! Rolled up with two hungry kids, one who is really picky, and a hungry dad. I applaud this location because the attendant who took my order was attentive and helpful, the food came out quick, and was accurate to our order. Most places, many of which are fancier can't even get our orders right lately, despite how many orders are takeout these days. The food was good and my picky eater ate up her lunch, which included great kids options such as applesauce and 100% apple juice. Keep it up! read more

Well I went to sonic yesterday for lunch. I was just there to get just a plain hotdog and to my surprise when I opened it it was a black shriveled up over cooked piece of meat. I literally felt sick when I opened it. I will not be returning and don't advise anyone to get any food there. What they served was unacceptable. read more

I can understand why Sonic has had financial losses for the past 8 quarters. The food at this restaurant was terrible. We stopped in for the double cheeseburger and tots special that is on the web-site but when we went to order we were told the special wasn't available. We ordered the same items at full price. The food came and what a disappointment. The double cheeseburger was overcooked, dry and cold. The cheese wasn't even melted. The tots were good, though. We used to really enjoy Sonic but we will not return. read more

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. 11:10 pm at your "Eustis, Fl" location we ringed the order button and waited until 11:20 pm to move our order to the drive thru line. Yes we know it was somewhat "full" but most people were just hanging out already eating their sonic, and others have already went through the drive through and left. So at 11:20 pm we get to the drive through and wait some more saying "hello" every minute until we finally give up at 11:25pm. The part that was extremely upsetting is we passed by after we left a minute or so to take a u-turn, someone has already ordered and receiving their sonic as we pass by. This is very poor professionalism, and disappointing after a 40 minute drive to Sonic with there being other options way closer. read more

Seriously, slowest sonic when it comes to taking your order. Twice I have come here and had to press the red button and wait through 3 cycles. The first time I gave up and went through the drive through. The second time was under the pavilion and they FINALLY took my order. They don't roller skate at this one, which is one of the reasons my kids love going to Sonic. read more

Food was cold even though they were very busy, food tasted weird almost rotten, bread was stale even though it was early into lunch, asked for no mayo and there was a ton of it on the burger, disorganized and terrible. Super friendly people working there. They were really nice. The wait time wasn't too bad.The tater tots that came with the chicken strip meal were fresh and good. The chicken strips themselves were okay, just a bit hard. The boneless honey BBQ wings were just bad. They were hard as a brick, the sauce was a mess in a tray and only halfway on, and it was too spicy for me. For 9 bucks I wouldn't recommend it. I can give this Sonic Drive-In 2 stars because they have gotten my drink order correct a few times, but I swear that every time I order food with sauce, they NEVER give me my sauce. They repeat it back to me multiple times for me to think they remember, but as soon as I check the bag, there is no sauce in the bag. It is extremely annoying to me when people cannot do their jobs and/or deliver on a service I pay for. I paid $30 in food and drinks for my family and 3 people requested sauce. The girl who took the order repeated it back, but then we received no sauce and no words from the person handing us our food. I had no idea if that was it (since it was a big order) and she just shut the window. I am disappointed with the lack of customer service here. read more

Same old thing COLD bun like it felt like it came out of the fridge the little hamburger patty also really super cold in the middle like it was still out of the fridge no flavor whatsoever on a positive note they're half-price cherry Llimeade's really good.
