Went there tonight craving a burger with extra pickles (also got a Sunday), I ordered online and went to pick it up, when I picked it up the girl who brought it out (black female, black hair, grey/black jeans/ glasses) (her name started with a N I think) brought it out and didn't say a single word to me which everyone has bad days so I didn't say anything but she walked away so quick before I could ask about my order so I just went with it and drove off. When checking my burger did not have extra pickles and I had no spoon for the Sunday so I went back and asked if I could talk to a manager to fix my order. Went there today. I have a dairy allergy. So I asked if their bread had dairy in it. They said they'd have to check. They came back on speaker and said yes ALL their bread has dairy, they Googled it. Wow... GOOGLED it? How about if you actually read the packaging for the bread (Texas toast). So we were just going to leave. One star because I can't give less. The waitstaff is great. The food is mediocre at best but the actual facility itself is in complete disrepair. I've left reviews before and the owner does not care that you have to pull in and out of these parking spots TWELVE TIMES before you can find a kiosk that works. If the owner doesn't care about the machines that actually make the money, do you think they care about food safety? This franchise gives the whole Sonic brand a bad name. My recommendation? Eat absolutely anywhere else if you can. read more

We ordered a custom sausage breakfast toaster, that is, we requested some tater tot's be put into the sandwich. This is not something we haven't done before and will probably do again, but the person taking our order simply couldn't understand what it was we were trying to do. No real problem, after all this is a custom order. The order taker finally got it, in addition I ordered a Route 44 Diet Coke easy ice. What I got was a Route 44 ice with some Diet Coke in it. Of course this was difficult to determine until later. When I opened up the cup to add some more drink to it I discovered the ice was 80% of the way to the top. I paid my bill, I had a large bill and of course the delivery person had to get change and once again my change was wrong. Luckily this time it was not a big mistake but it was wrong. The people delivering drinks at this sonic have frequently returned with incorrect change. I make a habit of leaving a tip because I realize these people don't make enough money but I prefer to choose the amount that I leave, and do not feel like it's up to them to tip themselves. read more

When we come here something is always wrong ranging from having no marinara sauce to having to wait 15 min for mozzarella sticks just to find out they had forgotten about us and having to wait even longer. Christian took our order and Whitney delivered, my fries were not even fresh and after complaining I was assured they would be fresh and again they weren't, im not a fan of this place at all before even coming to this location. Meh. It's okay. I mean the food is decent. I ordered the new crispy tender dinner. It didn't look that good at first, but the chicken was good. The onion rings here are horrible do not waste your money on them. Also though I just love their cherry limeades (that's what keeps me coming back). The service is friendly and has a great attitude! The electronic payment thing was broken at my stall and my car hop helped me work through the issue. He was very friendly! But yea those "new" computer touch screen things suck. This Sonic is hilarious. A few years ago when my mom and I would drive-in she would order and we always left with extra items which we did not order. Something about my mom ordering always gave us the hook up. They have since gotten better with the order placement. I love their diet cherry limeades and fries. Will never do this again! Went to your Copperas Cove location. Gave them my name and ticket number for my order from the app. Requested a side order of jalapenos! About five minutes later they sent out the jalapenos parrot after that I sat there waiting for about 30 to 40 minutes. Saw people come and go. Nothing no order for me. Hit the button again they continue to ask my name and order number. Finally some guy comes out I guess the manager and he says did you check in. I said yes I checked in. I said they sent out the jalapenos I requested when I checked in. He said so you want us to make it again. I said no I have hungry people waiting just get me my order. Without even an apology he walked back in and said send it out! A few minutes later they brought it out. I checked it and the footlong Coney Dog I requested had cheese on it which I specifically indicated on the app it should not have. I had to wait again to get that remade!! I will never go back to that location and probably no Sonic ever. I have never been treated so shabbily at a fast food restaurant! It felt like the manager was blaming me. I did my part and gave all the right information. That being said, I understand things are not always understood and those boxes they use may be hard to hear what's being said. Pretty sad that tonight for the third time in a row the person bringing me my food expected me to tip. This time my total was $4.52. I handed the server (I think his name was Justin) $5.52. He took the money, went inside to get me the spoons I had requested. I then had to ask for my change back! The other two times the server asked me if I wanted my change (I think this guys name was Josh). My order was each time for 2 milkshakes. I've gone several times and never had an issue. My food is always out in a timely manner, and unlike some other places in Cove, their food is always hot and fresh. The slushees are delicious, but my personal favorite are the mozzarella sticks. read more

This is by far the WORSTSonic I have ever dealt with. Their breakfast burritos are disgusting. My eggs had black stuff in them, there were a total of 2 hash browns, and the tortilla was stale. Now on to the milk shakes. It is seriously hit or miss when it comes to flavor. I've ordered a vanilla bean shake and it tastes just like the dolce de leche which is good, but not what I ordered. Today I ordered a dark chocolate shake and surprise it tastes just like the vanilla shake that tastes like the dulce de leche. It's also just a couple shades darker than a piece of bright white printer paper. So since this is the Sonic on my way home I guess I won't be giving Sonic any more of my money. read more

The hours they have posted on their website said they were open till midnight on Tuesdays. I waited 10 minutes before finding out that they weren't even open. And no one from the restaurant came out to tell me, I had to find out from a customer( that was still in the drive thru) that they closed. That is unacceptable. The food here is, well, what you would expect from a Sonic, and probably about the same as at any other Sonic restaurant. The service at this location, however, is frequently horrible. The carhops are nice enough, but the people who take orders are often extremely rude for no reason. They talk over you, rudely correct you if you say something wrong, give you attitude if you ask questions. I just stopped going here because I was tired of it.
