We started with cheese curds that were good. Then mahi mahi sandwich and French dip special. The mahi was grilled nicely - flaky tender texture, not dried out. It came with a garlic aioli but was good in its own with grilled flavor and generous squeeze of lemon. The French dip had good quality meat and was better than average. We chose coleslaw for our sides. It was flavorful - a bit creamier and heavier dressed than our personal preference - but tasty. The rustic decor has charm and the currently displayed Christmas touches are festive and cute. We have driven by this place many times without stopping but that was a mistake! It's a great place to have a solid meal.

Today it took 10 minutes of standing at the counter and several staff members to place an order for 2 $5 biggie bags with the double stack burger. 15 minutes later (after paying) we received one with a jr bacon, and one with a chicken sandwich. Two different women with small children walked out after waiting in line. Two different people had to talk to the manager and make complaints. Front of house is filthy filthy. Multiple employees murmuring about working two minutes late etc. Note to the franchisee. You're in trouble buddy. I don't write reviews but this was the best Wendy's and is now the worst I've ever been in nationwide. From an outside perspective.... It's not the employees as much as it is the management. If people are managed correctly they wouldn't be as concerned with working a minute late, as they would be with providing a good service and taking pride in the building that gives them a way to pay their bills.

We were warned that because they were so busy that the kitchen was backed up and we would have a longer than normal wait for our food, but that didn't bother us as we were enjoying an evening out and had had a pretty big lunch earlier in the day, so we weren't starving. It wasn't an exceptionally long time before our food was brought out. My husband had the bacon jam salmon over garlic mash and I had the bruschetta chicken with rosemary fingerlings. Both meals were incredible. It's hard to believe that this unassuming little restaurant in Warsaw had better food than most of the high-end places we've eaten at in Kansas City and other cities. The presentation was beautiful as well. Christian, our server, was polite and attentive. Two Michelin-star quality entrees w/sides, two glasses of wine, and incredibly all for well under $100 including a 25% tip. I highly recommend The Landing for anyone looking for great food in Warsaw.
