I did eat hre about 3 times a month. but sonce the new owner we have cut down. I like the new menu items not too fond of the new prices but feel like it's still reasonable. I've ordered the super nacho 3 times now and each time the chips were stale and tasted old. I've no had issues with any other menu item. read more

My favorite place for mexican! The owner will do anything for you and the staff too! Family place, plenty table seating no matter the size of ur party, plenty parking. High chairs available. The food is all homemade very reasonable prices. Variety of sodas, and beer. I love this place it's my go to place always. Closed Sundays and Mondays. IT is a family affair. read more

I have enjoyed the food usually. The last time we went I ordered a taco salad. I've not been that disappointed in a restaurant in a long time. I ordered a burrito for my husband and a taco salad for me. I didn't check it because they always got it right before. I opened the box with what I assume was supposed to be my salad. There was what looked like hamburger meat with literally 8 very small stail chips and some lettuce. I was shocked. Before it has been in a fried flour tortilla bowl and everything that makes a great taco salad. My husband said his was different and not in a good way. We can't spend that kind of money for that again. I'd give one star for it but I can't because it's always been good before and it's a local small business and the people are so very nice. read more

Javier runs a great restaurant. The super pork burritos are delicious! To Amy B who gave the most outrageous nasty review that I have ever seen, if you don't like the food then just stay away! It is completely unnecessary to drag your kids into the review. I just couldn't let that review go without a rebuttal. Taco villa has been here a very long time and I think that speaks volumes. I'm giving this two stars because we've only used the drive-thru and the staff has been nice each time. We've been here three times now and this will be our last. Firstly, my vegetarian taco salad was just a splash of barely-warm, watery refried beans, some shredded iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and sour cream. NO FLOUR TORTILLA TACO BOWL!!! The salsa served on the side is, I swear, tomato juice with a drop of tabasco sauce. There's NO FLAVOR or texture to it at all. They DID give me a small bag of stale tortilla chips...so that was gross. It's by far THE WORST experience I've ever had with "Mexican" food. There is SO LITTLE that a vegetarian can eat here. You have to obliterate their crass menu and create your own meal by piecing together different aspects of the sub-par, pig-trough garbage they offer. It's so sad. We also ordered two "Super Nachos" with beef. Our children said the beef tasted and looked like--and I quote--"Watery, tasteless, grey silt." They said they would never ask to eat here again but if forced to go, they would vehemently object the entire twenty minutes it takes us to get there and still refuse to eat it. This is NOT Mexican food. If it were, all Mexicans would be rail thin. This is more like cans of Great Value products from Walmart up the road, watered down with room temperature tap water and slapped on a plate, or in this case, a styrofoam to-go box. My husband ordered a simple bean burrito. I SWEAR it was no bigger than one of those disgusting, freezer burritos that come in an orange eight-pack to be microwaved. Almost $4 and it came with nothing else, just a flimsy, white, turd-looking thing in a huge styro box. Pathetic. I'm sorry but we work hard for our money and this place really needs to take their restaurant seriously and RESPECT the customers by serving REAL, AMERICANIZED Mexican food that makes people crave it, not wince at the idea of having to spend their hard-earned cash here. I'm not daft enough to ask for AUTHENTIC Mexican food. We don't want that here. We look for America's idealistic NOTION of what Mexican food is. THIS AIN'T IT. Very plain and pricey for what you get. No chips or salsa, Unless you pay $6 extra. They put our plastic forks on the bare table.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how tasty the food was and the generous portions! What a great find.

You don't go here for the ambiance, but if you love Mexican its awesome. Great choices and great prices. Will stop by every time in town.

Excellent food can be found here at Taco Villa in Warsaw Mo. The chimichanga is one of the best I've had anywhere. Javier and the staff are Super Friendly. Taco Villa is definitely a destination any time I'm in the Warsaw area. A+ would recommend. read more
