I ordered the meatloaf meal, which came with mashed potatoes and gravy, seasoned green beans, and a cornbread patty. Every bite was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, the flavors were spot-on, and the price was incredibly affordable. What truly sets this place apart, though, is Donna, the owner. I had the pleasure of meeting her, and her heart for the community is unmatched. She shared that she offers food for anyone up to age 18 with no questions asked, provides a discount and dessert for first-time patrons, and offers 50% off for seniors. You can genuinely feel that this is a place rooted in kindness, care, and giving back. Bluegrass Tavern is more than just a restaurant, it's a wholesome, welcoming space that serves fantastic food while uplifting its community.
