She was incredibly rude -- no greeting, no smile, and acted like taking our orders was a burden. She spoke with an attitude, rolled her eyes, and seemed completely uninterested in helping anyone. I even noticed her being short and dismissive with another customer who had a simple question. Customer service like this makes people not want to come back. And for a version of Wisconsin-famous squeaky-when-you-bite-them fried cheese-curds, not quite as sharp tasting (or quite as squeaky) as you would get in Wisconsin, but fun to bite! Well, we were in a mood, and went for their bragged-about shredded-chuck pot-roast sandwiches. I am sad to report that we were underwhelmed. The flavor was rather dull, despite the herb&spice cooking marinade, and the texture was not quite fall-apart-tender the way low-and-slow should come out. The cheese curds were ok. And of course we got the yummy flavor-of-the-day frozen custard: Turtle! (vanilla, caramel, chocolate, and toasted pecan). Aaaah :-p Well, the pot roast sandwiches were not thrilling. And we noticed that the Culver's drive-thru receipt is one of those that only lists the total price, not the price of each item. Why? There was ice cream and food coloring all over the side of the cup. I didn't expect it to look exactly like the picture, but they didn't even come close. It wouldn't have been so bad if they were nice and at least apologized for the wait and/or the appearance of what they handed me, but I got nothing but a grimace.
