She was pretty rude on the phone when I spoke with her. Not only that, she left two nasty voicemails on my phone demanding for the money on a Saturday (10/19/19) when I was never informed that the service was completed. I ended up paying over the phone and asked to be emailed the receipt. I never got the receipt. Customer experience doesn't really exist, was pretty disappointed. -Minus 1 Star: I asked the technician politely to not disclosed the invoice with my tenants and that I would 100% take care of the bill. The person that came to our house for the estimate has experience with HVAC installations and performed a thorough assessment of our residence to determine the HVAC size required. The bid documents were very detailed compared to other vendors and made the decision process easier. The price of work fell in the middle of all the bids we received from other contractors. On the day of the installation, we received a text that they were on the way and everyone arrived on time. The process of removing the old equipment and replacing it with new went very well. The work took two days and the entire time, everyone was professional and respectful of our property. Drop cloths were placed to protect the floors and no construction debris was left afterward where the work was done. The conduits, pipes, wires and access holes were well crafted/positioned and look very good. Kudos to Juan and Jayden for a great job. The electrical contractor was very thorough and their work also looked great. During the entire process, the attitude of the staff was very good and the team worked well together. At the end of day 2, the new HVAC units were turned on. We were given a "walk through" of the work that was done, and what to expect. We were provided with all the manuals and other paperwork for the new system. This contractor has finance options available, including a 0% interest loan. (Contact Expert Air for more info.) I have only good things to say from this experience.

They left garbage behind for me to clean up. Today Wes a technician responded to a 2nd service call from me. He projected intimidation arrogance toward me a single elderly woman, he attempted to dominate the conversation not allowing me to speak my concerns, he ridiculed me, degraded me and when he started mocking me, I had had enough. I did not feel safe or comfortable around him, he told me in no uncertain words that he was tired of me wasting his and the companys time. I did report this to the owner Robby who of course defended Wes! He did say he would speak to him!

My family and I reached out to Pristine Air services to get a quote on a furnace/heat heater pump…read morereplacement. We've already had a few other companies come out and provide quotes. Unfortunately concerning Pristine we were met with resistance and denial. The representative went straight to saying they shouldn't do a heat pump, due to the lack of floor insulation. This didn't make sense to us, as three other companies already reviewed the home and claimed otherwise. However the representative from Pristine seemed to not want to hear that, and after a bit of back and forth said the words "I guess we aren't the company you want to go for". They made the decision for us, which is odd considering we were only trying to purchase more than a standalone furnace. Maybe it was a miscommunication somewhere but it's clear from the rep that they didn't want our business. Edit: Further reduced score based on the reply from the company including false truths, never once did we claim that what the representative had said was "B.S." and to be clear they never said nor verified the home was insulated properly. The claimed the floors needed to be insulated, which was debunked by other companies as heat rises, and floor insulation does very little in terms of holding the homes heat. Poor response taking no real responsibility.

The good: We had oil heating that went bad and they were…read moreable to put in a heat pump and rip out the existing furnace, hook up the new unit to the central ducting and run lines outside to the unit. We haven't had an issue with the unit since install 1.5 years ago. The bad: The workers put their food on our clothes that were on top of the dryer, staining a pair of jeans with grease. They stained the carpet with the old furnace removal, however paid to have the carpets cleaned and the stains came out - it was inconvenient and another day spent waiting on someone to fix their goof. I had to convince the workers to put the outdoor fan unit on the far side of the house vs where they wanted to put it which was on the other side of our deck's privacy wall. Thank goodness I was adamant here because it would have been SO noisy when it kicks on and we are relaxing on the deck during the summer months. The lines they ran along our house are insulated, but the insulation failed shortly after being installed so now there's tear spots in the black line insulation and looks bad. The lines were also ran poorly. Instead of running them lower along the foundation, they came up around the back door and curved the line to run higher. It's an eye sore plain and simple. We had the install during November so we spent no time outside. Later that spring we noticed how crappy it looked when we were outside more and asked if they could re-run the lines, figuring it would take hardly anything since everything was already in place. I inquired 3+ times about this, even emailing pictures but I was ghosted with no response. You'd think paying $13,500 for a new unit you would get better customer service.... Lastly, they called for a yearly inspection and asked if I'd like to schedule one. I agreed! At the end when I made sure it didn't cost anything, that's when they informed me it would be $200-300 (I can't recall the exact price). I would've been hosed had I not asked. I was shocked at least a few weren't included in this huge purchase. If I could go back I would choose a different company, but that's why hindsight is 20/20. You live and you learn.

Their technicians (Dale and apprentice) colluded with the landlord of the home to provide a report saying that there was no HVAC cleaning necessary, and no safety hazards in the home. I have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and have been very ill in this home. I provided the company with my doctor's accommodation letters that I also provided my landlords, stating that I must have the dust removed from the home in order to reside in the home safely. And because the homeowner is their client, this company created a false report and refused to hear pr address legitimate safety concerns. Highly unethical company. Clearly just in it for the money. Capitol did not have the part on hand nor were they a vendor, but their customer service relayed me to a local supplier, Ferguson that might have my replacement parts. I was fortunate that my house was only 60F inside but my pets were cold, and they couldn't just put on a sweater all day.
