As I wondered around Rehoboth this morning, I came across Somewhere @ the beach. I'd never been nor knew of this place before so I checked out their menu and found both the food and the ambiance very interesting. Later my husband and I decided we would have lunch there. I'm so glad we did. We both had tacos - I had Mahi Mahi and Jerk Chicken and he had Pork Carnitas and grilled Shrimp. Fresh, delicious and although we both preferred the seafood tacos, it was overall, a lovely lunchtime treat. Casual beach dining at its finest. There's a good chance we will be back tomorrow. Service was efficient. Both staff and customers were enjoying a perfect autumn day at the beach and it showed. Highly recommend. read more

They didn't seem to terribly busy, but the service was slooooow for our breakfast visit. Perhaps they were under-staffed? The table that was seated after us got their orders taken before us, which is a slight annoyance. Eventually our coffees arrived. In paper cups. Seems sort of odd for a sit-down restaurant. I got the avocado toast. By the time it arrived, all evidence that it was made on-demand for me was gone. The bread was indeed toasted at some point in its life. The avocado itself was not adulterated with any salt or acid or anything that would give it flavor. There were some small pieces of bacon on top that I have to assume were cooked a couple of hours ago and thrown into a bucket to get soggy and then picked out to be placed on the food items to be delivered. There was everything seasoning on top of the whole thing, but perhaps a low sodium version? This place wasn't *bad*. But I was indeed disappointed. read more

Food is delicious and beautiful ambiance Excellent service provided by waitress Brook. read more

Friendly staff, nice vibe, limited menu. No kids menu. Some drinks are unique, but surprisingly different taste for the adventurous cocktail drinker. Our server did a good job explaining the drinks. The Food did take a bit of time to come out, based off the menu size it should be a bit easier for the kitchen as it wasn't that busy. Corn tortillas tacos were not grilled before filling and fell apart as soon as I picked them up, and if you know the taste of an uncooked corn tortilla it makes or breaks the taco. The tacos overall flavors were good. I would recommend them all just ask to have the tortilla grilled first. End of service, waited 30 minutes after we were done for our bill. Give it a try read more

Such a great find if you are staying in Rehoboth Beach. Every option is awesome and the staff was so helpful and friendly. We had a large group of 12 people and they seated us very comfortably. I would definitely recommend the sweet corn nachos to share- delicious! Their drinks, coffees and juices are all great and you can't go wrong over here. read more

We found this place by accident, and I'm so happy we did! The food was phenomenal! Mimosa buckets were a nice twist on the OG. The coffee though...omg! The Golden Latte is AMAZING!! Sounds daunting, but worth it! Always going to make time for this place from now on! read more

Best expresso in town awesome breakfast service is a little slow but over great spot in Rehoboth

Breakfast for 6, adults and little kids. Outside breakfast. Food was awesome, service very good and we loved the atmosphere and decorating!!

The food is good, the service is not. We waited 25 min for a mimosa (and it was make our own so we just had to get the bottle and the mix). When we asked the server what was going on with our drinks, she said we could go to the bar and ask. The drinks otherwise are good. The buffalo cauliflower and chicken sandwiches are good. The kale Caesar is very plain, so get extra dressing on the side. It's a cool little bar and the outside is really nice. read more

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. We came here for the first time yesterday for lunch... then came for dinner... then drinks... then this morning before leaving, we had breakfast here. The food is perfect. Delicious, fresh, many vegan and vegetarian options. The elote salad is divine, tofu tacos and shrimp tacos are heavenly, and the waffles are some of the best I've ever had! Every server we've had has been quick, kind, and cool. The service was quick (not sure what the other reviews are about - I mean please give a small business time to adjust before you blast them on here) and the ambiance is reminiscent of Costa Rica beach cafe. We love love love this place. read more

Excellent service! Unique menu. Food was good, served warm. Nothing off the charts. Casual dining. We got tacos, buffalo cauliflower (spicy!), street corn bowl and a crab cake (very average for $27, not much lump) Very eclectic and fun vibe. read more

What a delightful find. Had lunch with daughter after a little shopping. She had tacos and I had the kale Caesar salad with grilled chicken. My margarita was perfect and they made my daughter a mock tail that she enjoyed. I would definitely go back the next time we are in Rehoboth. read more

Cute place off the beach. They have a quality espresso machine from Italy and I was excited for what would probably be the best latte in Rehoboth. The barista was very friendly and the place has indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. She did a nice job with the espresso but unfortunately wasn't really trained on the difference between a latte and a cappuccino. She added too much air and made me a lattachino. It tasted good but clearly was the wrong thing. Overall, well worth looking for it and stopping by. The pastries looked good and probably worth a try. read more

Awesome place, very relaxing and the food is great... lots of vegetarian options.. l will definitely return to try more of their yummy food!

Love this place. Tried it for the first time today and it was a 10/10. We got to sit down right away even on a Sunday morning. Most of us got the burrito which was fabulous. The French toast is also a must. The staff were all nice and the indoor/outdoor seating is great. We will be back for sure. read more

We went for breakfast after tasting their gumbo dueing the gumbo crawl. My partner had a bacon omelet and I had a traditional breakfast. Both were excellent. The service is great. Sean at the bar is very attentive. I highly recommend the espresso martini shots!! Highly recommend!! read more

Had a great breakfast at this unique establishment. Great bloody Mary's and eggs Benedicts....Go early!

Somewhere (formerly Mud & Spoon) is a wonderful and serious coffee shop along with what looks to be a very fun and cool bar & restaurant. We came in early on a weekday looking for some quality joe and, wow! They delivered! Not only was the espresso and beans (toasted in nearby Wilmington) fabulous. They also have the equipment and expertise to really pull great shots and construct less common drinks (say, a cortado) perfectl. More important than the enticing spirits, brews, chow and great joe, these are some really great people with big hearts and real skills. Also great outside seating! Thank you! read more

This place was amazing! So surprised it was not packed! The vibes are so fun, the staff if great and the food and drinks are to die for! My favorites were the street corn nachos, and the strawberries and cream martini! Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Will be recommending this place to everyone! read more

This was my 3rd time here. First 2 times were good however today's experience was terrible- food and service. We never saw our waiter after getting our food. Chicken on salad wasn't cooked all the way. I had to ask someone else for the check after sitting there for 20 minutes. Got the check but never did see our waiter again. The restaurant wasn't terribly busy either. Outside dining area is Very cute. *I did get in contact with the management and got a refund for my meal since I wasn't feeling well after eating there. read more

One of the best meals we had in our lives. Had an excellent time, we went on busy night, but the atmosphere made the wait completely worth it. The food was delicious (especially the fries!), and our waitress Hayley was so amazing. Thank you to Somewhere for the great experience! read more

A cute brunch spot with plenty of outdoor seating. The server I had was friendly, and service was quick. There's a lot of unique options on the menu at fair prices. I really recommend the breakfast burrito, probably the best I've had anywhere. Overall, a great place to visit. read more

I loved this place for a number of reasons: the staff out front was reason we stopped, they said hello and said you should come in so we took a look at menu and last minute decided to go in for some cocktails before our dinner reservation elsewhere. And really if we weren't meeting people at the other location we would've just dined here. The service at the bar was so fast and friendly and suggestion of the crab salsa and chips - oh my goodness- sooo good!! I am home from vacation and still thinking of that salsa, YUM. Cocktails were a blueberry coconut drink for me and my daughter who lived in Arizona and became hooked on spicy margs there has been looking for the equivalent since moving back and there she found it- a spicy margarita with lavendar and pineapple I believe. She raved about it. This place is decorated so beach fun chic. We tried the next night to go back for espresso martini but unfortunately they are closed on Mon and Tuesday. Anyway if in Rehoboth You have to try this place for brunch or dinner. Fun vibe! read more

This place is a little treasure trove of libations and delicious food. Have you ever gone to a great place and overindulged in all the yummies but then immediately feel like you need to take your gluttonous ass home for a nap? Not at this enchanting little cafe; it's like calories don't count and there is some mystical process that converts everything you eat into fairy dust. The only thing more delightful about this place is the lovely lady that keeps the bar, Lo. Not only is she a master cocktail crafter, but also the funniest little bag of tricks you'll ever meet. My new goal in life is to become rich enough to appoint her as my personal entertainment 24 hours a day. read more

Somewhere will be going nowhere if they don't change fast... My family was drawn there for cocktails and dessert by images on the still active Mug and Spoon website that tout Somewhere's fresh baked waffle cones and creative desserts, yet we were greeted by a much different reality. As another Yelper stated, we should have been concerned when we arrived at 7:30 and found an empty restaurant. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and sat down at a table in their outdoor space-- a lovely sand and plant filled oasis oozing with potential. We told the hostess we were only there for cocktails and desserts and she said that was no problem at all. Despite being handed a paper food menu, the bulk of the cocktail list and all of the desserts are only accessible via a QR code on the menu. There were almost no desserts-- a cookie and ice cream. A hotel mini-bar has more options than this place which seeks to fill Rehoboth with the scents of waffle cones. Our waitress was friendly, but unaware of the ice cream options. After checking, she revealed them to be vanilla and espresso. The hotel mini bar continues to lead. I asked a bar tender/ manager about the lack of dessert options, and he said they "shifted concepts" to a full menu and removed all the dessert options pictured on the website. He did say the ice cream options might also include bananas foster and sangria. Even with these additions, the four ice cream list should be something the waitress can internalize. I then remarked, perhaps too frankly, that the shift in strategy didn't seem to be working (while staring at a literally empty restaurant). The manager responded that they "had a strong brunch." I get that. I love brunch. But why are you open now and why are you advertising creative desserts? The cocktails were pretty solid, but the vanilla ice cream we settled on to appease our kids tasted frost burnt. The space is great and I am certain if they imbraced their dessert based roots, they'd return to glory. If not, and they want to focus on brunch, go for it, just close at 2pm like every other brunch place and don't get kids excited with pictures of non-existent epic shakes and cakes. read more

I wanted so much to give a five star because I was so excited to come to a restaurant that had a variety of vegan options and also vegan desserts but the food was just so so and the service was poor. At one point we were the only ones there and service was just not attentive. Did not try any drinks so I can't comment on that but what we did have was just average. read more

Small, unpretentious and amazing! Their food is so fresh and the flavors are just perfect. Between the preparation of the meats/seafood and all the accompanying ingredients the food is absolutely some of THE best in all of Rehoboth. PS...and did I mention extremely reasonable. read more

The food was great, the ambiance, lovely. Nelly & Maria were beyond amazing! Nelly knows her stuff and was so funny and engaging.

Do yourself a huge favor and take yourself down to Somewhere... at the beach. Sit yourself down at one of the cozy tables inside or out. Where do you want to go for breakfast? Oh, I don't know somewhere. Exactly the place to goto. Eggs Benedict, and a bucket of mimosas. Choice your own juices and mix it yourself. Will be back. read more

Go somewhere else! Not good is being generous. Eggs Benedict was way below par, with virtually no seasoning and yolks cooked all the way through -- totally pale yellow, no orange at all. Plus they upcharged $2 for the requested scrapple substitute for ham (I was not told of price differential at time of order). Service VERY slow but maybe understandable on busy Sunday on holiday weekend. Mediocre coffee. Skimpy hash browns on the side. Waitperson was very nice and solicitous, but when she told me that the cook had already been admonished several times before about the dry eggs, she lost me as a future potential customer. They took 10% off the bill for my complaints. That won't be enough to lure me back for brunch. You can do much better -- and cheaper -- at Egg or Crystal up the road. This was easily among the worst five meals I have ever had in Rehoboth, which I have been visiting for decades. read more

Somewhere - Dry eggs benedict (and hence a desiccate English muffin too). Sparse hollandaise didn't help. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

We tried this place because we were hoping to get crazy ice cream desserts from Mug & Spoon - but they closed and the address on their website sent us to this place. The bar inside is bright and fun looking. The porch area looks 'meh'. We saw outdoor seating around the back but didn't head that way. We sat on the porch to the side (with a pile of disorganized chairs and tables behind us). Of the four things we ordered, three were good. Nachos were decent. Chicken and waffles were yummy. Mermaid drink hit the spot. My husband did not care for the shrimp and grits. We chose not to stay for ice cream. I'd have no trouble going back again and my husband said if he had to repeat the dinner, he'd have gotten a burger. read more

This is a hidden Gem!! We originally walked down Baltimore Ave to go to Aqua for dinner but saw it was packed. We were a bit nervous to eat at Somewhere seeing that it was empty. Saw they had Watermelon Mules happy hour so decided to grab a drink and then move on for dinner. Their Watermelon Mules were AMAZING!! So good that we actually went to the liquor store and kitchen store the next day to try to copy their recipe. Timesha was our waitress and she was extremely attentive and polite. We ended up splitting the smash burger as an app for HH. It was so good we just decided to have dinner there. Ordered the chicken sandwich and fries as well. Both the burger and chicken sandwich were delicious. Fries are an up-charge but definitely worth the $2. The owner stopped by our table as well to engage in a light conversation asking us where we were from and told us a bit about his up bringing too. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Food was delicious and well priced. Timesha was consistently checking in on us and she was so polite! Highly recommend checking this place out. We will be back!! read more
