Stopped here with a few local friends. Great vibe here, from the laid back atmosphere to the decor through this place. Small countertop where you order your drinks. Great place in York! Very cool tap room, really good beers, and friendly and accommodating staff. This place is far better than it should be for a small little southern Maine coastal town. York is my favorite place on the planet, and this place only makes it better.

Great place to sit back and enjoy a beverage. They have some outdoor seating. No food is available to purchase. My family loved the different varieties of beer and have a few favorites now. They also have live music on certain dates inside. Plenty of parking.

We had 8 2 ounce tasters. Erin has the rub of milk stouts known as Whoopie Pie Stout. All our good. The Whoopie AF is down to the last keg so supplies are limited for this rotational. I had a set of IPAs and preferred the flagship Apostrophe IPA. There is a parking lot converted to a nice outdoor tasting room to enjoy the sunset.

Stopped in on a whim to have my first flight of 2021. Staff was friendly and the inside of the tasting room was really cool. SoMe had a broad selection of beers on draft and plenty of to-go and merch options as well. Bathroom was clean and COVID precautions were taken seriously. The prices were reasonable as well. Beers were good but none really blew me away. Great taco place next door to take out and eat a the brewery. Excellent space for outdoor seating with heat lamps as well!

I think this just became my favorite brewery. My friend and I stopped here with our dogs after hiking Mt Agamenticus (about 15 minutes away) and what a great idea it was! This brewery has it all - a good selection of beer (including a sour beer, my personal fav), a really neat/inviting atmosphere, dog friendly (indoor and out), board games, outdoor seating, hot pretzels. I got a flight to try 3 different beers out. They have beer in cans available for purchase and special deals (I think something like grilled burgers and brews for 10$ was going on yesterday) Very reasonable prices here. My favorite thing about this brewery was the culture - everybody was so friendly. We ended up striking up conversations with the employees and other customers. I also liked the little flower arrangements on the tables because I am a sucker for things like that. Highly, Highly recommend!

SoMe has a ton of great options and variety! They are also the parent brewery of York Beach Brewing and you can get their beers here as well. One thing I personally enjoy if they do mixed 4 packs! Plenty of sunny outdoor seating as well

W O W / Coming from Cincinnati, where breweries are on every corner... this place is unbelievable! I was completely blown away by the selection and unique tastes of all the different beers! A quaint little spot, friendly faces and delicious beer! 10/10 ABSOLUTELY would recommend

Great little brewery with a lot of character. They had ten beers on tap and all of them were excellent. The Junction was delicious, I definitely recommend it! The space itself was small but cozy with a lot of tables. They have a seating area outside as well. They have a lot of board games, cards, and a foosball table. Stopped by only to try their flight but ended up staying for two hours! The bartenders were friendly and the service was awesome. Also pet friendly! If you are looking for a place to chill with a couple of friends and drink some really good beer, this place is definitely for you. You wont regret it!

Great brewery. Three of us tried three different beers-they we're all very good. We sat outside because we had our pooch with us. Very comfortable seating. The inside is neatly decorated. Perk-free popcorn! Always good. We will definitely return when in the area. Highly recommended.

I actually would go as far as saying they are underrated in talks of all the breweries in Maine. They have always been a brewery with a vast amount of variety in their styles they brew. Such as IPAs, fruited sours, porters, stouts, lagers, and so many more. Enough variety you could visit and all your party could find their style. They also deserve a lot of credit for being one of the first if not the first in the state to jump on the non-alcoholic train for beers. This has expanded to basically be as varied in style as their usual beers now. I actually enjoyed their NA Mexican Lager and it was delicious and would be a great option for those looking for NA beers. My wife grabbed their NA seltzer and enjoyed it as well. Since that expansion they have also moved into adaptogen beverages as well as CBD/THC drinks too. They keep expanding their portfolio while also doing what they already do so well! Also for non beer drinkers they did have some bourbon and other spirits available as well. Really great options for all who show up! They don't offer food themselves besides some free popcorn, which was seasoned perfectly! Although if feeling like more food swing in next door to Weathervine and grab some food before to pair with your drink. The bartender was very friendly and apologized when my first choice kicked and from his interactions with other patrons it is clear Woodland Farms cares about their customers! A spot my wife and I will make sure to return to sooner rather than later. You should check it out as well!

Definitive in Portland is an absolute favorite of my wife and I! We had our first unofficial date there, made many trips to try new beers as well as had our engagement photos taken there as well! Definitive did recently announce their closure of this location recently and my wife and I were free this weekend for their last weekend open. We made time to get down here to visit the spot as we had never checked out this location. If I was rating solely off of beers I would give five stars for the quality and taste. They have some delicious sours and make a good variety of styles. Only knock on their beers would be they have not made as many new beers over the past couple years. The downgrade from five stars into four stars comes down to the location itself. While I am understanding that due to space constraints it is more limited for space here it is overall a more disappointing space when you compare it to Portland. They do still have a patio available but the size is so small compared to Portland. The overall inside vibes are just not as nice either. This was a great spot to get all of those visiting the tourist heavy area of Kittery but I would take the Portland location everyday! Overall though it is a shame to see a brewery location closing in our great state of Maine especially a location of a brewery that is a favorite of my wife and I!

Wanted to visit this location as sadly it closes Monday. We tried several IPA's and sour beers…read more Parking was quite easy for us as traffic was really busy on the roads coming into brewery.

It wasn't my preferred type of beer, but I found it tasty and refreshing. The next morning at breakfast at a restaurant in town, there were small signs on the table for their beers. So that afternoon, I went to Liar's Bench for lunch. I appreciate the messages the universe had sent me. Apart from a challenge getting parking at lunchtime, with several spots in the lot reserved for nearby Murray's Plumbing, there's much to like about Liar's Bench (and that's no lie). The beer selection is varied enough that I was able to get a very satisfying flight. My local friend had suggested I order whatever was the chef's special of the day (which today was a specialty burger), but we instead opted for the BBQ platter for 2, with a large amount of pulled pork, slaw, potato salad, and Texas toast. We sat at the bar and had great service and conversation. I can see why this is a popular lunch destination. Another bonus for me is that Liar's Bench is the closest brewery to a hotel at which I often stay when I'm in Portsmouth, making this a new destination for me when I'm in the area.

Come foe the drinks, maybe a snack, but come during the warmer months, as I'm sure the patio opens up and it's a much better scene. Wait staff could be a bit more engaging. Overall, I'd come back to try the food, it's unique to see "tubed meats" on the menu. I'm getting a lot of German influences when. it comes to the menu.
