Great brewery in Kittery ME, right on the outlet strip. Walking in it's a smaller place but the beer makes up for it. You order at a small counter, they didn't have any deals on flights.. it's pay per glass but they do offer 5oz for $3 and $4. I tried their seller echos a double ipa, delicious. The sweet life ipa, very tasty. Definitive ale and very smooth ipa. My favorite is their insufficient funds triple ipa... oh baby this was magic in a glass! Since I wasn't driving I had to get a large glass of this. We sat outside, nice little area with a few different spots to sit. I liked the bar tales they use as tables. Even though this is a smaller brewery stop by for the beer, it's worth it!

Fantastic beers! Samples of anything on the house. Sours are chock-full of fruit and taste practically like a health food. Best sour beer I've ever tried. Hard seltzers were tart and refreshing.

A great little place to stop for drinks, conveniently located along the outlets strip in Kittery. Inside of the former Starbucks (moved to the next building), Definitive Brewing Company (DBC) offers around 10 draught beers including a pale ale, sour ales, IPAs, double IPAs and triple IPA, in 3 sizes (5 oz, 10 oz, 16 oz, $3-$7). They also offer to go 4-packs (16 oz cans), snacks (Fox Family Potato Chips, Pub Mix, Cheez-Its) and non-alcoholic drinks, and DBC apparel. This beer tasting location is taking precautions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic including mask wearing inside the space, credit card only transactions, and requiring patron information for contact tracing purposes. The seating area is outdoors with several picnic tables and chair seating next to barrels. When finished, you bus your own drink glasses and you can reenter the brewery with mask on to order more beer and to use the restrooms (customers only). After visiting the outlets, I stopped at DBC for a quick drink and to use their Wifi. I ordered their Walrus Music, which was a sour ale and had a very nice fruity flavor (mango, passionfruit, pineapple). I sat outside on a warm afternoon enjoying drink and checking my messages on my phone. The service ordering my drink was very prompt with a credit card only transaction.

Probably the absolute best Sour beers you've ever had! Each one with its own unique flavor combination. My husband loves the IPA's and enjoyed the Robin, which was a 12%abv stout! All of their drinks have high abv, which I especially appreciate as I get tired of those 4% sours. Why do people do that? Not definitive! Delicious and high alcohol. The inside is super cute at the location in kittery. They also have knowledgeable and kind bartenders. I enjoy their music selections also. Their hours are great and they release new beers all the time! Make Sure to check them out !

Holy moly this is the mother of all delicious! Definitive sets a very high bar for a mouth watering sour. I tried three of them and wanted a lifetime supply, especially the blueberry one, you could actually see bits of blueberry in it. Thanks for making such amazing beers. We can't wait to come back for more!

    All the essentials :-)

Definitive is a great brewery located in Kittery- amongst all the outlet shops. When you're sick of shopping (or waiting for your significant other haha) stop in for a beer! Their servers and staff are all very friendly and happy to answer any questions. Also very COVID friendly. I love their Portals sour! Highly recommend this brewery if you're in the area.

Outstanding Kolsch and a down home regulars vibe. Busy on a Thursday night and dogs welcome too. One of the great Maine beers, a must visit.

I actually would go as far as saying they are underrated in talks of all the breweries in Maine. They have always been a brewery with a vast amount of variety in their styles they brew. Such as IPAs, fruited sours, porters, stouts, lagers, and so many more. Enough variety you could visit and all your party could find their style. They also deserve a lot of credit for being one of the first if not the first in the state to jump on the non-alcoholic train for beers. This has expanded to basically be as varied in style as their usual beers now. I actually enjoyed their NA Mexican Lager and it was delicious and would be a great option for those looking for NA beers. My wife grabbed their NA seltzer and enjoyed it as well. Since that expansion they have also moved into adaptogen beverages as well as CBD/THC drinks too. They keep expanding their portfolio while also doing what they already do so well! Also for non beer drinkers they did have some bourbon and other spirits available as well. Really great options for all who show up! They don't offer food themselves besides some free popcorn, which was seasoned perfectly! Although if feeling like more food swing in next door to Weathervine and grab some food before to pair with your drink. The bartender was very friendly and apologized when my first choice kicked and from his interactions with other patrons it is clear Woodland Farms cares about their customers! A spot my wife and I will make sure to return to sooner rather than later. You should check it out as well!

My wife was visiting a friend near by and my brother in law recommended we go here for pizza…read more Well it was a good recommendation for many reasons. First one was that there is plenty of parking. And plenty of outdoor seating for when the weather allows that. When we first got in the hostess told me it would be about 10 minutes, but we were welcome to sit and look at the menu till they called us for the table. It was only a 5 minute wait and at first I was surprised we couldn't just be served at the large high table at the entrance where we were seated and waiting which looked like it was for several parties or even one large party, but even when we were leaving that table was empty so I guess they either save it for a very large party or just for people to sit at while they wait for their table like we did. Either way we didn't wait long so that didn't bother me as I thought it might at first. When we were seated, service was extremely fast, so fast that at first I thought they just want us out. :p but they are just that good. And our waitress brought me my soda without ice which many servers forget and would get me a refill before I was even done with the soda and even asked if we wanted water as soon as we sat and bright us some. When the food arrived (which as I mentioned was extremely fast even though the place was packed), everything was amazing. We started with shrimp and the Brie which were in the specials. Shrimp was fresh and you could really tell, and the Brie had a nice assortment of apple slices, almond slices, bread and cranberries making it feel like you were also having a healthy meal with your pizza and fried food :p. We had the truffle mushroom pizza and the only complaint my mother had was that it had onions and rocket which she didn't like on the pizza, but that was her fault for not reading it on the menu as we could have easily just asked for it not to have that. She just saw truffle, mushrooms and ricotta cheese and said im having that. Which was what I wanted too but I was ok with everything else too. Well we both enjoyed it and I even took the left over pizza to have for dinner later :). I don't live nearby, but it is a place I would recommend to others who go by there and when we come near here again I know where to go eat if I'm in the mood for pizza. The only complaint is that it was too loud for us, almost felt like a sports bar without the sports tvs playing everywhere, however they do have take out as well, so you do have that option too if you live nearby.

Plenty of lot parking so that's always a plus. We walked in on Friday for lunch and it was fairly full but we were seated quickly and orders taken. Very rustic ambience and service was quick. Unfortunately, the food was just ok and didn't knock my socks off. We ordered the Brussel sprouts, pork belly steam buns and the margherita pizza. Brussels were fried nicely but the ginger sesame sauce was very strong and I would probably preferred the sauce on the side. Pork belly buns were just ok as well. We were here for the pizza so were excited to try it - pizza unfortunately was just ok as well. Food is subjective and always based on preference so please take this review with a grain of salt - pizza was a bit doughier than I'd like - I prob should've asked for it to be well done if even possible and the sauce tasted heavy on the oregano - not something I'm a big fan of. All in all - not bad but not great. I just had such high expectations - maybe a different pizza might've changed my mind. But def don't skip out on going next door to try some samples and get some bread - the bread is amazingly delicious.

This quaint gastropub doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside, this seems like a place where locals are regulars and tourists are happy to get a table at this "no reservations" joint. It's dark inside (no photos) and a little cramped. The bartenders are serving double duty mixing and pouring drinks while also playing DJ and spinning vinyl records. And it felt like everyone inside was exactly where they wanted to be at the moment...enjoying each other's company and sharing drinks and food. The menu is about the size you would expect from a small kitchen - a fair number of appetizer dishes meant for sharing, and a handful of entrees, ranging from casual to a bit more refined. The grilled cheese and tomato soup ($19) was made with a hearty artisan bread that hit the spot on a chilly evening. Similarly, the coq au vin ($26) was classic comfort food, with perfectly cooked smashed fingerling potatoes surrounded by a rich, decadent reduction sauce smothering meaty mushrooms and soft pearl onions. Note, the coq au vin did take a long time to prepare, so not the dish to order if you're in a hurry. A couple of not-too-sweet lemon ricotta donuts (with chocolate sauce) was a great way to end the meal.
