Not my favorite brewery. No sours and on a hot day, most of the beers on the flight were too heavy for me to enjoy (porters and such.) The inside is very nondescript - it feels like you're imbibing in a strip mall (hint - you are). Chips and lobster dip were great. read more

Super friendly service and amazing beer. The Biere De Miel (honey saison is brewed and conditioned with lavender and chestnut honey from the Provence region of France) was so amazing, I bought a bottle to bring back to the campground. The Blueberry Pale Ale (brewed with Passamaquoddy IQF wild blueberries and aseptic blueberry sourced in Maine) was equally amazing. The beer here is not very good at all, but something like the stout is drinkable at best. The bartenders are TERRIBLE. The have 12 oz glasses and only pour about 8 oz of beer in them. This is hands down my very very least favorite part about this place, because it shows they do not care about the customers and are trying to save money by cutting corners. The owners are the ONLY people I have seen give full pours to people they know personally. It is pretty annoying, and it definitely keeps me from going there more often. I would rather just go next door and get a full, FAIR pour of beer at Blue Mermaid. However, despite being in a shopping plaza, it isn't a terrible social environment, and they allow dogs and have music on weekends. read more

I have been to Tributary Brewing Co. 4 times. Would definitely go there more often, but unfortunately they are about 1.5 hours round trip from my home. Bummer! The beer is awesome. Workers are very friendly. A few months ago I had their Oyster Stout. Mind-blowing great! Please bring it back!! What inspired me to write this this review was a visit on Tuesday, February 2nd (2022). I purchased a 4 pack of your porter (very tasty). When paying for the beer I handed the worker a crisp $20 dollar bill (so I thought). Actually it was 2 - 20 dollar bills perfectly stuck together. The young lady taking my money was so quick to point out that I had given her $40 instead of a $20. Her honesty was so impressive - especially in this day and age. Wish that I had gotten her name. She was very friendly / cheerful / polite! She has long dark hair. I hope that her boss reads this review and gives her a raise! She deserves it! read more

The selection at Tributary is not huge, but there are a few really good beers that we love that keeps us coming back. There is plenty of parking, and dogs are usually allowed on premise (as if we needed another reason to visit!). With only 4 beers on tap, you'd think I'd be less generous than 5 stars. Normally you would be right and my first thought was solid 4 stars. But Tributary was awesome and I'm feeling generous because of their great attitude and the promise of great things to come. Such a great space in the corner of a small mall, it was very polished and welcoming inside. Friendly staff, welcoming smiles, glad you're here kind of people. Everything is shiny and spotless. Love that. And bonus for being dog friendly! 4 ounce tastings are $1.50 each so you could have them all for about $6. Plus they will let you just have a small taste before you decide what you want to drink. Nice. Unlike many other craft brewers Tributary's offerings didn't have catchy names. They had a Pale Ale, Brown Porter, Wheat IPA, and a collaborative brew with Earth Eagle called a Sweet Fern Gose. If you've never tried a Gose you owe it to yourself to try this ancient German style of sour/salt almost medicinal wheat brew. This one was brewed with natural ferns that was quite something! We both loved their pale ale a lot. I'm sure there are great things ahead for Tributary. Highly recommend you stop in and try it! read more

Great open space made up of a small bar, a few high top tables, and some picnic tables. They also have a small outdoor patio. The beers are good, the bartenders are friendly and helpful, and the ambiance is nice. I got a flight of 4 beers to try. I was surprised that there wasn't much of a difference in taste between the pale ale and the IPA - the bartender explained that the pale ale is aggressive with the hops, while the IPA is mello with the hops. I liked both.. It seems that the favorite here is the porter, but I'm not a porter fan. I ended up with a growler of the IPA They also have an interesting beer with a sea salt flavor kick - Gose. We tried the IPA and Oktoberfest. The IPA was delicious, hoppy yet smooth and easy to drink. Oktoberfests are not my thing, but it tasted good for what it was. Tod just opened this past weekend and I went in on Saturday with some friends. The place was packed and there was a line wrapped around the right wall leading to the taps. Strategically placed along the way was some decent merchandise. I fell victim to the growler and the growler koozie. Saturday had the choice of the Pale Ale and the Pale Ale. I went with the Pale Ale and it was great! Little bit of a bite for those that like IPAs but not too much for those that do not. Sunday the menu opened up and Nut Brown was added, this was an amazing beer. Rich roasty and a lot harder than the Pale Ale. I was standing in front of Tod on Sunday when he said, We have more beer than yesterday, and on Wednesday we'll have more than today. That statement along sold me on the people. Forget the fact they have smiles behind the bar even when facing down a large crowd. "The Good" - It's a tie for the Beer and the People. I would said that is a pretty good problem to have for a tie. - Picnic Tables, a bar and some comfy chairs are your seating arrangement choices. - Tasting Glasses and Growlers and even growl-ettes or squeakers for those who do not want to commit. - Plenty of Parking. My family and I visited Maine for a week and checked out this place. The beer selection is very small, but it's absolutely delicious!! The blueberry ale was one of the best beers I've ever had, not too sweet at all. I would recommend getting a couple beers then heading to Chauncey lobster pier. This place is a hidden gem in Kittery. Very low key and "basic", with picnic tables and a small bar area. But boy is the craft beer amazing! And the bartenders know their stuff. Talk about unwelcoming! I experienced this last time a while back but this recent visit takes the cake. The two women who perhaps run this place or manage are really not pleasant people who should be working in service. I decided to host a super small event here that 5-8 people were going to attend and I was treated like "how dare I plan something without letting them know". If I thought it would be a big turn out, I would have told them but I don't think to call every place I go to with that little people when I know this place has nice long tables and a good size to Host. we made up 80% of the people in the bar on an otherwise slow day, I figured I brought them business, posted it on social media on my popular account and Galen made the whole thing uncomfortable like "well we'll see how it goes and if it's just too much we'll ask you to leave.... it would have been nice to know ahead of time". How do you even respond to that.... ok thanks... I'm so looking forward to Coming in after that pep talk. We didn't get greeted when we arrived, just scowls the whole time.
