Imagine for a moment, a brewer bringing together from the diversity of what nature brings. Has anyone bring to canvas what Van Gogh has? Did Van Gogh have magic paint or special brushes? No, From the same stuff came the unexpected. It is what Van Gogh did that separates ordinary from artistry. Whether you are local, driving by, or even within a reasonable driving distance, swinging into the little hamlet of Waterboro may bring to you a Starry Night. Our server was so attentive and pleasant that I actually asked her if she was an owner. She treated us like we were the most important people who had walked through the door, even though the place was packed! The bartender obviously had his head on a swivel because, as soon as our drinks were getting low, he was right there asking if we wanted another. The food runner brought our meals with a friendly smile and joked with us about something. I honestly can't remember what he said, but I do remember that he made us laugh! And to top it all off, as we were walking out, another server who was outside called out to us, "I hope you all have an excellent night!" INCREDIBLE SERVICE!! How was the food, you ask? It was okay. The dogs roam freely and off-leash in a large indoor/tented area, which can feel a bit chaotic. A couple of things I wasn't thrilled about: the brewery is cash-only, and there's a $3 cover fee. For what? I have no idea -- there was no live music or anything like that during the hour we spent there. As for the drinks, the beer was... fine. I had the IPA, and while I didn't love it, I'd probably drink it again. The highlight was the pizza. It was phenomenal and made up for some of the other lows.

Can't speak to the food as we had lunch before our visit! Seemed like a great variety of offerings though! We were happy to visit and check this off our Maine brewery list.
