Inside, outside, they have both. Plenty of space, and friendly owners. They just opened in May of this year after a long time of getting certified and licensed. Located in Limerick in the space formerly occupied by Gniess Brewing. The space is largely quite similar with a view of the entire brewing system greeting you once you walk inside. Weather didn't allow for us to enjoy it but they have a fantastic looking outside area too! Side not for when you walk inside, they also got a little library for those who love books. My wife was surprised but loved it and snagged two good sounding books. Beer wise they had two offerings with a possibly third house brewed beer tomorrow. They had a Hefeweizen (named and inspired by the former brewery in the space) as well as a Kolsch. My wife and I got both and we enjoyed them very much, two great beers especially for a newly opened brewery. Besides their own beers they had guest taps, guest cans, as well as other alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Plenty of options for everyone to get a drink they'd enjoy! To note, kids welcome with supervision and dogs allowed outside with only service dogs inside. They also had a food cart who was opening for their first day today as well with a variety of hot dogs and subs. I suspect a variety of food options will be available during their times open. Due to the nature of just opening the line did get quite long for ordering but expected with a newly opening spot with a crowd wanting to check it out. A very welcome addition to the Maine Brewery scene!

This is how I want to know them. I like that it's off the beaten path, tucked away in some industrial park; the parking is like the wild west - there's no rules, just put your car somewhere that isn't in the way; and the interior of the brewery itself is waaaaaaaaay bigger than you think it's gonna be, and it's beautiful. It feels like you're inside a wood cabin in the middle of, well, the woods in Maine. Lots of seating options, cool merch, and the beers? Yeah. Okay. I get it. They're probably in my top three favorites in the state of Maine. I don't like IPA's, but dagnabbit if that Oh-J isn't delicious. It's like a juicy, alcoholic orange juice without the pulp or vitamin c. I'll also never say no the Samara Brown (subtly bitter like coffee left in the pot overnight), the Chaga Stout (earthy and roasty; but is it still an anti-inflammatory superfood when it's in beer?), or the Maple Sunday (which tastes like a pancake breakfast). Also, the Holy Donut collaboration was awesome - dark chocolate coconut donuts turned into a 10.5% ABV beer is a totally great idea. Even better? Pairing them WITH the actual donuts. For sure looking forward to releases like this in the future! I like that they have an outdoor space (and that there's room for food trucks to come up alongside it) and am excited to come back to this specific location.

It's a great location for big parties...the only strange thing about this location, it's huge with plenty of seating...however there isn't a lot of parking so if you had 12 people coming to meet for a work event...that would take up the parking area pretty quickly. I'm glad this location exists to get them more exposure and also to allow them to stock up on more of the limited release items. I do recommend this location.

Both the indoor and outdoor seating was great and the food from Bite Into Maine was delicious! The staff for both businesses were very nice and helpful. I got a Main lobster roll, which was loaded with tasty lobster meat and just the right amount of mayo. My wife (celiac) thoroughly enjoyed her gluten free lobster roll as well and had no side effects. The kids both got burgers. Fortunately, one didn't finish theirs, so I had the joy of dipping it into the beer cheese, which was a perfect fit (much better than dipping the fries for sure). From Allagash itself, I got the stout, which was pretty solid, and I also got to try a sip of the grapefruit-y beer whose name I don't recall. I'm not a big beer fan because of the hops but this was surprisingly mild on that front to the point where I'd probably drink a glass if it were handed to me (and that's saying something if you've ever heard me talk about beer). Overall, a great place to stop in the summer for a good bite and tasty beverages!

I love the people that run the place. They' don't seem interested in shaping impressions as much as they shape their beer. Imagine for a moment, a brewer bringing together from the diversity of what nature brings. Has anyone bring to canvas what Van Gogh has? Did Van Gogh have magic paint or special brushes? For a while I did not miss a single new release. While I may not come here as often I still would recommend it as a must visit brewery in Maine and one of the best in the greater Portland area. Their taproom has grown in size by a lot since my first review, as they have moved the brewing aspects elsewhere. They have also since opened two other locations, first in Freeport then in South Portland. Thankfully my favorite beer from them is still their flagship beer called Gunners Daughter. It's a low ABV (5.5%) peanut butter milk stout. Mind you despite being a peanut butter stout they do not use nuts so those who have those allergies can still have it. It's even more popular now that they have hosted special Gunners Daughter days with special variants released for years now. Including yesterday during our most recent visit here. They even released for the first time a Double Barrel Aged Version at 18% that tasted so good! They do a huge variety of style beers though with lots of IPAs available plus lagers, sours, stouts, porters, and more! Check this place out if you are a beer lover! They do also have options for those who are not beer lovers too though. Also they frequently have food trucks. Always had friendly service with a smile during every visit!

Electric stove with charger may sitting area amidst tables and chairs. Great selection of crafted beers for all kinds of tastes. I've been a Gunners fan since their inception so I went with the flight of Gunners Daughter; Nitro, Imperial, Fudge, and Pumpkin spice. Nitro is the original and even though the imperial cost a dollar more for the pour, it's still the best. The Imperial left no impression on me at all, not worth the up charge. The Fudge did have a heavy chocolate presence as did the pumpkin spice. Husband had the Champ American Lager which was lighter. He enjoyed two mugs worth.

Important to note: they allow dogs. And while we LOVE dogs (we couldn't resist petting the ones running around), I can see how this policy might not be for everyone. The dogs roam freely and off-leash in a large indoor/tented area, which can feel a bit chaotic. A couple of things I wasn't thrilled about: the brewery is cash-only, and there's a $3 cover fee. For what? I have no idea -- there was no live music or anything like that during the hour we spent there. As for the drinks, the beer was... fine. I had the IPA, and while I didn't love it, I'd probably drink it again. The highlight was the pizza. It was phenomenal and made up for some of the other lows.

They've been open for around 8 years and have expanded their tasting room/brewing a couple times I believe. It's quite a traditional tasting room with a bar and plenty of non bar seating as well. Some large garage doors that can also be opened during warm weather. We sat at the bar and due to our timing it was not busy and the bartender immediately greeted us and made us feel welcome showing us the menu. They had a good variety of beer styles available including IPAs (single, double, fruited), brown ale, blonde, lager, stout, and more. They also got non alcoholic options as well as a food menu too. Can't speak to the food as we had lunch before our visit! Seemed like a great variety of offerings though! We were happy to visit and check this off our Maine brewery list. Beers were decent while not being extremely memorable or stand out. I did appreciate their wide variety of beer styles though. Still worth visiting for sure!
