By the time we got to Carter's, my kids had already endured a sit-down breakfast and an hour shopping at Target. Needless to say, I was THAT mom with the 4 stir-crazy kids running around. Especially my 15 month old. I tried to hold him at first but he proved too heavy to try to carry and shop. And of course, as soon as I set him down he got busy pulling shirts off shelves and running about. Oh and did I mention he was BAREFOOT because he lost one of his shoes in Target?? ‍ I looked like a crazy mom! All this being said, the two lovely women working that day were SO a kind and understanding. Bonnie was the name of the woman who helped me find some of the things I needed and checked me out. I didn't get the name of the other worker but she was equally as wonderful, cleaning up after our craziness, answering my dumb questions about where certain things were located (even though I had already walked by them 50x) and being kind and encouraging the whole time. I'm sure it was a relief to see us walk out the door but the two of them never even let on that we were a bother. I felt very welcome and understood. Thank you for ensuring that what would have been a disasterous shopping trip was actually fun and productive!! We got everything we needed amidst the chaos. And a couple days later, when I went back (ALONE) to exchange some sizes and return one thing, it was an absolute breeze! I didn't even have a paper receipt because I chose to have it emailed to me but Bonnie looked up my purchase history, easily switched out the couple of size exchanges and then put the one returned item straight back on my card. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!

A self check out was out of service, only two cash registers were open and then once the line started to get long #7 register had to go on lunch. So check out took way longer than usual. I finally got what everyone has been talking about concerning the native body wash and I'll definitely be back as long as Target continue to improve and have my favs! The initial fitting was cool. The guys here fitted my son and I for our tuxes and helped us pick…read moreout a style that would match my wedding colors. They were friendly and we were done in about 40 minutes. What I didn't like was that the pick up date for the suits was 2 days before the wedding. Not only does that leave little time for mistakes, but why would I just be trying on my suit 2 days prior to my wedding? Why not have the suits a couple of weeks in advance, that way theres no rush, and no added stress to an already stressful time. They sent me a email saying that my tux was ready (no call, ever). I had to be in by 3 pm the next day to try on the tuxedo for anything wrong. Which was thursday and the last day of the week they will alter anything. I couldn't make it by 3 so I had to come the following day, and hope that everything fit. I had lost 25 pounds from the time of the initial fitting, and my tux was really tight. The associate said it looked great, but it pulled on me with every move. At this point i'm just to tired to argue, and i'm excited, but i'm ready for everything to be done with. The associate insists that he packs the tux back up for my son and i. He also gives me the suit for my best man. I walk out with 3 suits in hand, and when I open up my bag the next morning I have no shoes. I folded the pants after trying them on, and left it on the bench in the fitting room. Right next to the pants I put the shoes (size 16), which are very hard to miss. My ceremony starts at 1130. Their store opens at 10:30 and I couldn't get everything set up because I had to wait for them to open to go get my shoes. The associate said he had found them the day before, but nobody questioned why there was a pair of shoes left behind in the fitting room. I'm almost certain if they took the time to look into who left a brown size 16, somebody would've remembered. Its about 1045 when I get the shoes, and my venue was 30 minutes away in Pasadena. Needless to say our event ran behind schedule, and we had to cut things short to end on time. Then after having such a big day, you're required to bring the tux back the day right after the event. I bet they make a killing on late fees. I just had the biggest party of my life, and barely slept a wink, but I can't forget for 1 moment to bring the rented tux back the next day. They should give you at least a week. I mean whats the rush? I don't think I would rent another suit from this location. It's not my first rodeo with this company, and i've never had these issues. Only on the most important day of my life I guess.
