The ladies who work here are very patient and accommodating. Stopped in to take a look around ended up making a purchase. Came back about a week or so later to participate in their "Save the Girls" bra donation for those in need and again made a purchase. Very happy with the customer service each time. Some may consider their prices on the high end but if you have boobs (male boobs excluded...or not) you want to be comfortable with your undergarments. Bottom Line: Although I have dubbed Soma the "old lady underwear store" the reality is that there is some sex appeal here and something for every female body that is over 22-years-old. Well, we're taking it to a whole new level today Yelp community! Today, I am Yelping the "old lady underwear store" located in the Waugh Chapel Towne Centre but the truth is that Soma is not just for old ladies. You probably won't find Christian Gray-endorsed lingerie here but you will find plenty of lacey thongs and cleavage revealing bras. For those wanting more coverage, there are plenty of options for those styles too. Basically, when you are too mature for Victoria's Secret, Soma is a wonderful upgrade in quality and class. Soma's PJs are super comfortable and offered in an ever evolving variety of fun pints. If you want something for a different kind of fun, you can find something here for that too. Wink. My very favorite Soma offering is the super comfortable and flattering collection of summer dresses. Others apparently love the dresses too because they sell fast. Forever I have referred to Soma as the "old lady underwear store" because it is owned by Chico's. I still think I am too young for Chico's (and will be for the next two decades) but I do like Soma. The staff here is knowledgeable about the proper fit of undergarments and very helpful in general. I loved my experience at this store. It was my first time at this location in the Waugh Chapel Towne Center and I was extremely pleased. I was greeted by the nicest young ladies upon entry. I was explained the sales that were going on and I was even fitted for a bra. The bra was magnificent. However, it was a bit on the pricey side. Side note, sign up for their emails; they have coupons regularly. However, I enjoyed my experience in this store and even met a nice young lady that works here who shares my name. She was extremely helpful. I will definitely be going back to get more intimate items! read more

Highlight of my day!!! This place is fantastic!! I have been shopping for bras for the last 3 weeks without any luck, I keep trying different sizes, styles and no luck. I went to Victoria secret and got measured and they said I was a 36 D so off I went looking for this size the fit but something just was right. I kept tucking and pulling. So I went back and asked for a re measure cause the bras I bought just didn't seem right. They assured me I was fine and just needed to get use to the new style. 3 days later I was still unhappy. I returned the bras and got a refund. Finally my mother in law told me to try soma. I drove by and decided to stop by and see what the hype was about. An I was amazed, I was greeted by friendly faces, instead of the women with ear pieces rushing about that I had gotten so accustom to. I told her my dilemma and measured me, 34 DD!!! Not 36 D!!! So she brought me one of every bra type they had in the store. I tried each one on and she came in and would check the fit to make sure it was correct before moving on. I was so impressed and thankful. I finally got a bra that is COMFORTABLE!!! Yes comfortable... No bras don't need to be hell!!! Found my new bra store!! read more

Shut this place down now. When we asked if they offer a military discount the woman behind the counter got into an an arguement with us about how she believes that it is unethical to get a discount or solicit for a discount based on a profession. She was simply rude about it when we said she should talk to the owner about it. Plus, she obviously doesn't understand what solicit means. read more

The people that work in the office are wonderful! They are so helpful, it's a pleasure to shop there! That said, I could not give 5 stars because of the Horrible Customer Service when dealing with their Online services! The in store sales ladies ordered several items in my size and color preference online for me & most of it came in within a week. One item was on 'back order'. Of course, it was the one item I really wanted, the rest were impulse buys. I waited a little over a month with no updates or correspondence from Soma, other than their advertisement emails and finally went into the store. They were very pleasant, as always, and did what they could, but said it was still on back order. They offered me a refund, but I really wanted that item, so they said to call the online store. I waited another few weeks, hoping it would come in, and then called the Customer Service number, but after being on hold for 30minutes, I hung up and used the online chat. I spoke w/Starr who was rude right off the bat! First she did not read the question correctly, and immediately accused the store clerks of not doing their job correctly. I pointed out that I received everything else without issue, and she then chastised me for 'waiting so long' to follow up, essentially blaming me! She went on to outright ignore questions, and was rude in her interactions. She processed a refund and ignored my requests to just send me another size or color...would not even acknowledge the request or my concerns. I will not use their online service again! But if they have something cute IN THE STORE, I will be happy to continue to support that location :) read more

Bra shopping can be super frustrating. Even more so during pregnancy when the size just keeps changing. But having a good supportive bra is important so off to Soma I went after calling to confirm they had options in my size to try on. And they had some beautiful options. I really appreciated Roni's (i think thats her name...) patience and assistance as I tried on a few different styles and colors. I walked out with two bras I adore and a pair of panties that were free with my purchase. They also carry nursing bras and what looked to be super comfy pajamas. Needs more staff on the floor at a time. Especially when there's a "newbie". I was with one of the newer employees and I wanted to order two bras in my size, after typing my address in incorrectly multiple times, she mentioned she wasn't entirely sure how to do this. However, the other woman on the floor was with other customers and didn't help. A month later, my bras never came, even though my bank account was charged. After calling expressing my frustration, I was treated like I was an inconvenience and that she was "going to make some calls to figure out what to do". Very disappointed in the customer service, even though the products are great. read more

I had the worst experience EVER at the Gambrills location...when you are getting a fitting I feel that it should be a private event ,not being spoken to as if you wanted the world to hear. The manager spoke in such a tone/volume that I deemed it inappropriate, I simply told her that one of her associate was able to help us and she took a offense...and didn't allow her to come back and finish working with my daughter. Her voice was so LOUD that I told her to please speak in a lower tone/voice, because trying on a bra can be intimidating from some, but she assisted to continue to speak loud and was very rude! I will not be going back to that Soma and I will be calling to advise her supervisor about her behavior. That was NOT giving customer service in the manner of which someone should be treated. read more

First time there was last year. Had a great saleswoman - was extremely pleasant and customer oriented. My second experience was today. This time the (much older) saleswoman - who was on a bench smoking when we arrived - was snooty and extremely unpleasant. Almost like she was judgmental and was doing me a favor.
