The third was delivered to their supplier, Kichler, on May 27th--confirmed by USPS tracking. All returns were made within the 30-day window, in original condition and packaging, and we used the return label provided by Village Lighting. Now they're refusing to issue a full refund. Their reason? They "never received" the third light--even though their own return label directed it to Kichler and the postal service has confirmed delivery. This is deeply dishonest. They created the return label. They accepted the risk. And now they're trying to keep our money. To make matters worse, they've since removed their return policy from their website--but Google's AI Overview still lists it clearly: full refund within 30 days if the item is in original condition. We followed the rules. We followed their instructions. And now we're being penalized for their error. If this isn't resolved immediately, we'll escalate: bank dispute, USPS fraud report, and legal action. Village Lighting: Do the right thing. Jackleg work, simple fix, abjectly poor customer treatment…read more After buying thousands of dollars worth of Schonbek fixtures - a large center hall chandelier, two sconces, two ceiling domes, and two smaller bedroom chandeliers - from Cleveland Lighting, here is the response I got when I asked them to fix the problem shown in the attached pictures: "Unfortunately, we would have a service call fee of $95. As mentioned these are secured at the factory and I'm not sure how much of an adjustment can be made. I could have someone available this Thursday afternoon. Let me know if you wish to proceed." The sconce in the photos was installed improperly. It should have been repaired without hesitation without charge by the store. You can see from the photos the Cleveland Lighting rep's statement, "fixed at the factory," is an inaccurate cop out sent by someone who just did not give a crap. Asking for a service fee was inappropriate and indicative of the kind of people who run Cleveland Lighting. Find a different lighting store.
