The company shipped a new globe promptly and charged only for the cost of the lamp. Later last year the photocell of that outdoor lamp stopped working. I contacted the company, and a new photocell was shipped to me at no cost. This year I dropped the globe of a smaller outdoor lamp. Again a new globe was shipped to me free of charge. My contact person for all the interactions was Beverly Murphy. This is outstanding and entirely unexpected customer service. I give this company a top rating and highly recommend it.

Jackleg work, simple fix, abjectly poor customer treatment…read more After buying thousands of dollars worth of Schonbek fixtures - a large center hall chandelier, two sconces, two ceiling domes, and two smaller bedroom chandeliers - from Cleveland Lighting, here is the response I got when I asked them to fix the problem shown in the attached pictures: "Unfortunately, we would have a service call fee of $95. As mentioned these are secured at the factory and I'm not sure how much of an adjustment can be made. I could have someone available this Thursday afternoon. Let me know if you wish to proceed." The sconce in the photos was installed improperly. It should have been repaired without hesitation without charge by the store. You can see from the photos the Cleveland Lighting rep's statement, "fixed at the factory," is an inaccurate cop out sent by someone who just did not give a crap. Asking for a service fee was inappropriate and indicative of the kind of people who run Cleveland Lighting. Find a different lighting store.
