Location is convenient. Food taste is so so, but quantity is very small for the price. Won't return.

Only knock is…read morethat the price is a bit steep, but given the variety and the speed of service here, it is at least justified. We visited as a group of ~8 on a weekday evening for dinner. Service was quick. Although we had plans afterwards so we were not in full optimization mode for this AYCE excursion, we ate a decent amount and did not ever feel like we were being slowed down or not helped, despite other diners in the restaurant. They have sashimi, nigiri, rolls, and a lot of other Asian sides and fares. A good variety to just having fish! I especially recommend the galbi and the yuzu if you have the room in your stomach. Otherwise, a great place AYCE that is on the pricier end, but is well worth the extra bucks here.

The inside did have a nice darker Asian themed decor to it. I got a bento box with salmon. There is a good amount of food here for the price, but most of it was overdone. Salmon was dry and overcooked, but was saved by the sauce. Sushi was decent, but nothing to write home about. Miso soup and salad are as middle of the road as it gets. Not bad for sure, but in an area flush with Asian cuisine options, it may not be my first pick.

Their daily homemade soup menu is worth a look, with veggie and vegan options across the big board. Combo soup and sandwich is also in play. I went with a Tuna Hoagie on foot long torpedo, with accompanying soft drink and bag o' chips. The tuna was freshly made, with tomato and lettuce, and a side cup of sliced dill pickles that I stuffed into the sandwich for extra crunch and semi sweet flavor enhancement. I had requested that the proposed pickle spear not be built into the sammy to avoid dampening the roll too long before consuming. The cashier/order taker/short order cook took care of business with a pleasant smile and engaging repartee. Ate when I arrived home 40 minutes later, and everything was in great shape and quite tasty. I could only finish half of the meal. A larger selection of drinks and chips would make the experience more complete. 4 P'ton Stars for taking this tradition on the road.

The sushi was amazingly delicious. Everything was packaged neatly and looked very clean. The roll was delicious. I went home and told my husband all about it. I got the sunshine roll. A couple days later, I couldn't stop thinking about what I wanted for lunch and the sunshine roll popped into my mind and my mouth started to instantly water. It filled me up perfectly and the flavor was beyond delicious so I made a call and ordered for pick up when I walked into the restaurant . The place was beautifully decorated and very clean this time I ordered the sunshine roll and the Philadelphia roll. The prices were very good and my food was ready promptly. The hostess was beautiful and kind and professional. I took my lunch back to my office and enjoyed it thoroughly after work. I told my husband about my experience and how beautifully decorated the place is and he said that our next date night will be there. I cannot wait for him to try this amazing sushi. I know we will become regulars. I am so excited to return. See you soon Sumi Rahman.

Despite the "Panera To Go" signage outside, this location at the corner of Plainsboro Village…read moreCenter is still a full-service Panera (trying, kind of). The front counter/kitchen/Rapid Pick-up Shelf are all located in the front of the store, which is convenient for grab-and-go. The layout of the rest of the store is kind of weird though. The 4-6 touchscreen kiosks are awkwardly spaced across two round tables whose main purpose appears to be wasting floor space. The bar seating along the windows has excellent views of Scudders Mill Road and the wooden deck outside, which has additional seating. The remainder of the indoor seating is in a horseshoe formation which wraps around the beverage island and ends in a nook, where many a giggling teenager can be seen on weekends. Instead of placing cups outside by the kiosks for self-service, this Panera seems to hoard all its cups behind the counter, which is typical for locations in urban neighborhoods or mall food courts but unusual for a suburban standalone location. It's not hard to guess why, but waiting 10 minutes just to get a paper cup is pretty lame. The hot water carafe was obviously not cleaned thoroughly during my last visit as the water it dispensed tasted like coffee and soap suds, which is fine if you want your Earl Grey tea to taste like dishwasher. By the way, this location has no buzzers, so if you place an order for dine-in a food runner will be offering your meal to everyone else before it gets to you.

To think we've all had to listen for years to Panera Bread drone on about their "clean, wholesome…read moreingredients" and virtue signal ad nauseum about how nothing unworthy should ever touch our lips. Well, their fast-food Moses apparently never made it down to their Plainsboro, NJ location to anoint the unwashed. Two sandwiches, a lukewarm soup, a Romaine-less Romaine Salad (more supply chain excuse making) and a beverage serving station that would make any mischievous toddler squeal with delight over the sticky, dirty train wreck occurring in real time where the guava lemonade and other new age concoctions go to avoid a sponge and a mop. And no less infuriating... barely any change back from my Fifty. I'm now officially nostalgic for the days when the worst Panera would do was try to upsell me on some grossly overpriced cookies. I can only dream. Two stars.
