I should have listened to my reservations about a "Mexican/Italian" place. I ordered to go, but the inside of the restaurant is... quaint. I was hoping the "hole in the wall" place would translate into really good food, which often is the case. I ordered a shrimp and broccoli Alfredo and mozzarella sticks. The sticks were okay, but the watery marinara sauce wasn't. I tried dipping them In the "Alfredo", but as I soon discovered, it wasn't much better. The shrimp was shrimp. Not much flavor and overcooked. They just have run out of cream/milk and substituted sweetened condensed milk for the "Alfredo" sauce, because it was really sweet and not tasty at all. I love to visit my Mother in Plainsboro every chance I get to be in the Philly/Jersey area on business. Last night she was in the mood for Italian food and had received a circular from Casa Rosaria's in the mail, and wanted to try it out. And we had a great experience! We tried a slice each of the Brooklyn, Sausage, and Pepperoni pizza pies. The Brooklyn was square cut and the other two were thin-crusted ... each were big servings. The tossed salad is def big enough for two to share. And we also ordered the Linguini ala Rosaria. The pasta dish took a little while to prepare but we had plenty of pizza and salad as appetizers. And when the Linguini ala Rosaria was served it was a huge plate of pasta with mussels, clams, shrimp, and calamari! Too much to finish but it was delicious. The tomato-based red sauce was fantastic! Well, I have to admit that I was wrong about never coming back here! It's pretty close to where we live so we've been back a few times, and while it's not amazing, I do think it's better than my initial review suggested. The pizza was not bad at all - not super duper greasy, which was a nice surprise. My wife also loves their pasta with garlic and oil. They welcome you with a smile and freshly made pizza. I thought $18 for a large pie would be expensive, but I found myself ordering from them, again. The best part is that this restaurant defines small business; you give them your loyalty and consistency, and they'll hook you up with deals, a little extra food, or whatever. I just wanted to let you know we were very displeased with our experience tonight. We ordered 2 pizzas for delivery and it took 1.5 hours when we were told 30-45. The guy said they were $48 which is more than the cost on the menu but we were paying cash so couldn't do anything about it. When we finally got our pizza the toppings were wrong. Casa Rosario's was recommended by the courtyard Marriott but we will let them know they should reconsider doing that. read more

Starting this by saying I've only ordered take out so that's all I can speak on but it is always DELISH! I'm a sucker for their ravioli dishes, pizza, and pretty much any of their pastas with pink sauce. Delivery is always on time or early and the few times I've picked up it's been ready early. I've been enjoying the pizza here for several years and for me it is the best in the area. I always call up and order to eat some there and take home the rest. Crust perfectly cooked, great amount of toppings. Best of all is the friendly greeting from the boss (who makes the pizzas) who has come to know me as a big fan. I've never had anything "off the menu" so can't speak to it, but I know this: you'll get good food sincerely prepared. P.S. I wouldn't disagree with reviewers saying this place might have the best pizza in the town of Plainsboro, which is a really small town by the way. We usually had a late dinner take out of medium or large pizza with chicken wings (around 20 bucks total). I think they are pretty good. The guys working there are pretty nice too. read more

Service is absolutely horrendous, as are the meatballs. We had the fried ravioli, which came out with our entrees after I specifically asked for it to be brought out before the entrees, it was sub-par. My boyfriend ordered the tortellini with vodka sauce, the tortellini was way under cooked, not al dente, but crunchy, the sauce was fine. My sister had the chicken parmigiana,which was your standard chicken parm. I had stuffed shells which were good and the horrendous meatballs which were more like mushballs. Our server as mentioned was awful, not present at all, and when given a coupon took $2 off our bill for what was supposed to be half off an entree. This place is really convenient to where my parents live, so we typically go here to get pizza instead Papa John's, etc. My parents also love the fact that this place always has coupons, so you can count on getting a good deal.
