I was really pleased that he tried to fix it and showed us why it was beyond repair. We purchased a new system and got a very fair price. As part of the installation he and his team fixed a major error that the builder created when they put it in. Doing that fix will save us a lot in cooling costs and make our new system much more efficient. Tim's team came out a couple of times in order to remove the old system and install the new one. His guys were VERY clean and tidy at all times. They even put down plastic in the closet over our clothes so they didn't get dusty from the changeover. They cleaned up everything and even their appearance was clean and neat. The job they do is hard and it's hot, (in peoples attics) so it made me have even more respect for them that they took the time to be respectful of our house and also look professional. Tim took the time to explain things to me very patiently and answer several dumb questions of mine. I really appreciated that and in the process he helped me understand the whole HVAC system. As a result we are more educated about how to make the new system last and how to actually make it work for us and our budget. I can't recommend this company more highly. Tim McMahon and his well-trained employees are a dream team. Each team member is knowledgeable, punctual, organized, focused, hard-working, helpful and respectful. My two-story home, built in 2004, came with two HVAC systems. Each system had separate electric AC and gas furnace units, all of which were located in the attic. One of my AC units quit working during triple digit weather last summer. It was beyond repair. The refrigerant had leaked out and was no longer available. The only solution was a new AC. Circumstances were not favorable to install a new AC at that time and I don't like making hasty decisions, especially when spending thousands of dollars. I needed time to explore my options. Fast forward ten months... I survived last summer's heat with portable fans. Meanwhile I relied heavily on Consumer Reports articles and ratings to explore various HVAC options and various energy incentives like rebates and tax credits. I also read lots of HVAC reviews for the Inland Empire region. I invited a few licensed HVAC service providers to my home to assess my situation, discuss available options, answer questions and finally to submit bids to replace one or both of my HVAC systems with heat pumps. Of the three bids I received, the bid Inland Valley Heating and Air submitted was the most comprehensive AND the most budget-friendly, by thousands of dollars. Due to the age of my existing HVAC systems, I opted to replace both systems. The install took three days. Each team member knew and did their part. Tim kept me informed every step of the way. He took care of all the details from the building permit through the inspections. He's the best!
