After reading the other recent reviews, I chose Beach N Air to service my 82yo mother's broken AC…read more I live hours away so I had to coordinate the appointment time with my mother's caregiver and the Beach N Air scheduler was understanding and supportive. The technician arrived at the specified time to find the blower capacitor blown so the system had iced up and was blowing warm air. This was during daytime temps around 100 deg F. He secured the system, then returned to do the repair after some of the ice melted and then came back the next day to fully function the system after the ice was completely melted. I just got the bill today and it was completely reasonable for the work that was done. They did not try to take advantage of the situation (unlike the plumber that came last month). They were professional, personable, and got the job done. They will be the ones I call the next time I need help.

Ahhh I am seriously speechless right now!! Jaw-dropping, mind-blown... WOAH!! I knew I loved…read moreBradlee Vasquez for a reason! Not only is he into holistic health for his family (which I absolutely adore), but he also has one of those warm, trustworthy personalities that instantly makes you feel at ease. And okay... am I the only one who thinks he gives off handsome TV-doctor vibes? Haha! But really though... Bradlee did what felt impossible today. I've been stressing because my AC system is older and they don't even make my type anymore. Replacing the whole thing would've been an absolute nightmare -- digging things out, gutting parts of the attic, replacing everything inside and outside... major headache. Instead of immediately pushing me toward an expensive full replacement, Bradlee actually took the time to think outside the box. Step by step, he carefully worked through the problem and figured out a way to save most of my existing system by replacing the coil and tackling the issues one by one. And here's what stood out to me: where others used strange quick fixes and temporary patches that never truly solved anything, Bradlee was honest. He replaced worn-out valves and components correctly, welded things into place, and did it all at a price that was incredibly fair. Once we filled the system back up, something in my gut said, "Have him check the attic one more time..." and BOOM -- there it was. The master leak! Again... where others failed, Bradlee came through. Some of these parts were literally welded into place and a huge pain to remove, but he hauled everything up, lined it up, adjusted what needed adjusting, and handled all of it without complaining. That kind of work takes patience. It takes skill. It takes someone who actually cares. The difference? Bradlee enjoys a challenge. He understands older systems and knows quality when he sees it. A lot of people just want the easiest route these days, but Bradlee was happy to put in the effort with a smile the entire time. And beyond the work itself, he's respectful, kind, explains things clearly without talking down to you, and is honestly just joyful to be around. Needless to say, he'll definitely be back around Sept/Oct to check the heater for safety. In Bradlee we trust for all our heating and air conditioning needs!

I was really pleased that he tried to fix it and showed us why it was beyond repair. We purchased a new system and got a very fair price. As part of the installation he and his team fixed a major error that the builder created when they put it in. Doing that fix will save us a lot in cooling costs and make our new system much more efficient. Tim's team came out a couple of times in order to remove the old system and install the new one. His guys were VERY clean and tidy at all times. They even put down plastic in the closet over our clothes so they didn't get dusty from the changeover. They cleaned up everything and even their appearance was clean and neat. The job they do is hard and it's hot, (in peoples attics) so it made me have even more respect for them that they took the time to be respectful of our house and also look professional. Tim took the time to explain things to me very patiently and answer several dumb questions of mine. I really appreciated that and in the process he helped me understand the whole HVAC system. As a result we are more educated about how to make the new system last and how to actually make it work for us and our budget. I can't recommend this company more highly. Honestly, integrity and value!! Thank you, Tim and team!

Derek L. came out today to look at our AC Unit, which has been struggling when the temperatures…read moregets over 95 degrees, but otherwise cools the house. We were looking for a diagnosis and an estimate for repair or replacement. Derek said we had an old unit and the compressor windings were broken. He agreed to send us an estimate. After Derek left, I noticed my thermostat was off, which meant the whole unit was off. My husband reached out to Derek and was told he had turned everything off before leaving. We weren't advised of this before Derek left, had not agreed to any work or set up a return date, and were left in the 100+ degree heat. The off/on switch is on the unit, which is on the roof. There was no offer to come turn the unit back on. Note the unit was working when temps are below 95 degrees. I would have liked to have had a choice in whether he was turning the entire unit off and leaving us with no AC. The estimate was $5000 to replace the compressor or $13,000 for a new unit. Needless to say I had to call someone else out to turn the unit back on. At that time, I was told the we ultimately needed a new unit, as we have an old unit and when the compressor gets too hot, it turns off. Makes sense. In looking at whole sale new units they run about $4000.

My parents had been having issues with their Heating and Air conditioning for close to a year but were procrastinating as we all do. Main reason is that it is so difficult to find a trust worthy HVAC mechanic that is not looking to give you some outrageous rate using some complicated verbiage about this "condenser" and this "thermal-thing-a-ma-jig" needing replacing. Then usually followed by it should be replaced ASAP otherwise your entire house is going to burn down if you don't get it fixed with them. Well, this was not the case this time. From the minute I called I received incredible customer service. I was greeted by a friendly voice on the other end of the line and was able to schedule an appointment within minutes for them to come out and take a look at what was going on. Luis came out later that same day and was able to explain everything to me in layman's terms. So easy for me to understand everything. He was very honest and gave me a very fair price. Frank came out the next day and the job was done within a couple of hours. My parents are now enjoying the crisp fresh AC while sipping Margaritas indoors without a care in the world as the world outside melts. Thank you guys for your professionalism and leading with integrity. I would highly recommend to anyone in need of any heating or air conditioning service.

First off -- Solis Mechanical Service is still open. They just relocated to Irvine…read more If I had to sum up this company in one word, it would be... awesome!! This was the first heat wave of 2020. My AC wasn't functioning up to par. It had very minimal flow of cold air coming in. Therefore I thought it would be a simple issue like the filter needed to be changed or something. I first call an initial company (which shall remain nameless) and they give me a very hard diagnostic where I would need to be spending at least $3K and up to $7K+. Multiple issues were apparantly found and it sounded like a nightmare, especially during this unprecedented COVID-19 time. I did not want to get into credit card debt for the first time in my life... As a result, I seeked a second opinion. A friend referred Solis to me and I was connected with Frank. He was immediately responsive via text message and was able to come on-site to my home within 48-hours. When Frank Solis came on-site, he was efficient and thorough. Something really cool was he asked for me to go up onto my rooftop with me so I can see everything. He explained what the issue was and gave a genuine diagnostic. My issue ended up being that all my refrigerant was gone due to a small leak. Long story short, he gave me the next step-by-step instructions on what to do so we can get the job done right and where my wallet would not die from a high surge of fees. My favorite thing was the HVAC 101! I learned a lot thanks to Frank. At the end when I was walking Frank out, I literally said, "I love you!" He took care of me and was both very knowledgeable and personable. Seriously great service! This company is hands down on my personal referral list. I was beyond happy with the result.

I could not get their mobile link on even after being sent 15 codes and he called Generac and got the app installed. They even replaced my gravel where they had to dig up. I will not hesitate to recommend this company in the future to anyone. You have to figure that a company that has been in business for 77 years is doing something right. Since I lived in the mountains we are subject to power outages a lot so this is a great investment and relieves a lot of anxiety worrying about how long the power will be out, will my food in the refrigerator last, etc.
