One of the best trainers I have worked with. Perry is a great guy and is dedicated to the success and safety of his clients. He evaluates the clients needs, preferences and focuses on any limitations. He is very knowledgeable and communicates in easy to understand terms. He is very focused on form so the client obtains maximum results with measurable progress and safety. He is very conservative when increasing levels of an exercise. Two issues that I have experienced great improvement in the few weeks of training with Perry, 1) Injured knee several years ago resulting in loss of range of motion and discomfort during certain movements. Currently ROM has greatly improved and little if any pain or discomfort. This has provided me with the ability to perform exercises that I had avoided in the past. 2) Impingement in shoulder has limited me in certain movements and considerable discomfort. Currently able to perform movements with little awareness of any limitation or discomfort. ROM has definelty improved and improving muscle strength. Highly recommend Franklin Strength & wellness. I received a text the next morning from Coach Kate asking how the calf felt and if I had any questions about recovery treatment. However, my heart has always been at orange theory. I called in to check about the specials and Grant was super helpful from start to finish in getting me set up for my free intro class since it's been yearssss. Mia was there the day I came in for my free class and afterwards she was so helpful in asking the right questions and getting me on board! She's always so friendly and greets me by name and happy to answer any questions, plus just enjoys dialogue, like a friend. I seriously loveeeee everyone that works there, but I always have a huge grin when I see Maddie and Braylin at the front desk. They go out of their way to make you feel like a true friend and it makes me so happy! All the coaches are phenomenal especially dealing with my "dyslexia" on the floor, my brain has so much trouble trying to do anything with the TRX straps and anything that involves one foot forward or stretched and doing something at the same time with the arm on the opposite side. Phew. Even saying it is difficult for me. LOL I love ALL the coaches here but have to do a special shout-out to Coach Chris with her FIRE playlists that really amp up the splats ya know what I mean?! The most recent 60 2-G I took with her Sunday 11/19, 648 cal and 41 splats. Her playlist felt so carefully put together for each push and all out, ALL OF IT. Huge applause. I can't believe what a difference it makes. I hesitate to even mention or call out anyone because I truly feel like the ENTIRE STAFF there is literally perfect! I wouldn't change anything. Cough. Except having Lauren back here from Melrose. Nostalgia is real! Each person on staff literally does make it fun and easy to WANT to come work out. Highly recommend!

More strength and confidence…read more I did the D1 28-day shred challenge because I was tired of making excuses to not start my fitness journey. I had googled many local gyms and D1 was the only one that felt different. I loved the variety of workouts and never got bored. The coaches were amazing and encouraged everyone in the class to push themselves, but also never hesitated to give modifications if I was struggling. At the end of 28 days, I am far from shredded but I am faster and stronger than before and more importantly, I have the discipline and motivation to keep going! -L. Daniel

DO NOT give your credit card to D1! They overcharged us (I believe purposely - see remaining for…read moreexplanation). The local manager, Jonathan Ladd, continuously lies about issuing credits. My intuition is that Jonathan is given an incentive such as a bonus or commission from corporate and relies on people not tracking the exact costs of what they should be paying. We are still owed money from months ago and when we approach Jonathan about it, we receive a very unprofessional snarky repose that he is "AS I TOLD YOU, I'm going to do it but it takes time" which is an outright lie because it has been over a month and he has issued some but not all credits that he admits is owed to us. Again, I believe he is playing this game to pad his numbers on other people's expense which is stealing and goes against their contract with their credit card processor. It's a shame because the program and the facility is great but Jonathan brings an awful stain on the organization.

Middle of summer, and the pool is closed because they "can't find lifeguards, since they went back to school." But yet they still offer it as an amenity. Total deception on the front end. 3) They let social media influencers film their videos right in the weight room...with us as the background. Seriously?
