I got my hair cut by IVK Salon with Vu Nguyen and absolutely love it!! It is easy to style. He cut it so it stacks up on the back and long in the front with a heightened crown. I will definitely be back! read more

Go to Sola Salon if you want to be ripped off and treated disrespectful! If you want to pay $300 for waving hair My coworker went in to get her hair hi-lighted but came out looking exactly the same. The back of her hair did have pretty waves. She is very sweet but was treated bad by JESSICA who told her she should have charged her more when the client brought up the fact there was no change I. Her hair color!! Beware!! read more

As i mentioned before, I've never given any review unless the service is extremely good or extremely bad. Kathy, the owner of JADE BEAUTY LOU, Studio #5, is very special. She is very passionate in what she does over 25+ years. She is personable and so much fun to talk to. You can tell she is really listening when you talk to her. Her salon is super cute and cozy. After all these years, i was never 100% satisfied with ANY hair style/color/balayage work i found in IE, LA, OC, even San Diego. I would literally go once, then never again! Due to my difficult type of hair and need i have, many times I had to walk out barely noticing a difference from when i walked in. UNTIL I FINALLY FOUND KATHY!!!!! (The heavens opened and angels were singing) I found her through yelp. She had enough pictures and great reviews that i felt comfortable enough to try her out. But from my previous experiences, I couldn't judge from yelp or instagram pictures. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY SHE IS THE BEST! She truly knows what she's doing. Kathy did cuts, balayage, color, treatments for my hair, and I genuinely LOVE..LOVE..LOVE.. everything about my new hair!! Thanks Kathy!! I hope my review can give others piece of mind when they're looking for a hair stylist/colorist. KATHY is THAT GOOD. Yes, your hair will look good as good as all those pictures!! My journey has now ended because i have finally found KATHY!! I will definitely recommend all my friends and family to her. Yelpers, you really won't regret trying this GEM out! XOXO read more

I'm very disappointed in my experience with @jessicanichole_hair_ at Sola Salon . I spent over $300 and my hair looks almost exactly the same . I let Jessica know that it isn't what I asked for and she told me to give it a week and it should brighten up. Obviously this did not happen. She did agree to add in some highlights, but then cancelled about an hour before my appointment. I understand that sickness happens . However, the very next day she posted pictures of her out with friends so .... I asked her for a refund (even a partial refund) as I took time off work, paid for daycare and spent a lot of money for my hair to look the same. She was extremely unprofessional in her response and even stated that she should have actually charged MORE for what I wanted , even though we were clear on the inspo pictures and she said she could make it happen. Long story short, do not trust Jessica with your hair. read more

I had my hair done with Érica Vasquez and it was the biggest mistake I had done , she use low quality products that dry my hair and cause breakage in my hair , that was the most I asked her to be careful with what she put on my hair because I wanted to avoid hair breakage , I did not get the color I asked for and she said it would be $150. And she charge me $170. It was total disappointment in every way. i fined this unfair pay all this money to have my hair ruined. yeah" SOLA " is for her read more

‼‼ I am rewriting this review on Bianca in studio 3 based on the fact that I walked out of her chair a happy customer. I loved the way I looked and I was happy with her work. I am new to this whole weave thing so I was excited to give it a try as several of my friends have them and love them. She recommended the Weft hair so I purchased it and paid for my appointment before hand. Everything was great for the first five days. After that beads were falling out. I notified her ASAP. Bianca told me it was normal to loose a few beads. Her Assistant made time for me to fix one side of my weft that fell 80% out. Another week went by and the left weft was hanging by one bead. I reached out to Bianca and she didn't get back to me for quite a few days. Her assistant called me and I let her know I was NOT happy with Bianca 's job and she apologized and said " I could've came in anytime to get it fixed." But Bianca told me that it would be Thursday before she could see me. I had to go on vacation and a family function with tons of bobby-pins in my hair. As soon as I returned from vacation I had to pay another hair dresser to fix her mistake! When Bianca called me I could tell by her voice she was frustrated. I asked her to fix it and she continued to argue with me. I told her " Bianca you don't care about your clients you are just in this for the money. Now I will be taking her to court to hopefully get compassions for money spent to another hair dresser to fix her mistakes! I don't recommend her! She rushes through her clients and don't care to fix her mistakes. I remember her telling me " don't worry I will never leave you hanging and she did. read more

Sola Salon is THE perfect Salon!! First I stop at Studio 13, to see Pat Watson, words can not describe how good she is with giving a massage. Suffering with fibromyalgia, chronic pain and other issues this woman is sent from heaven above I walked in the day of my appointment, my pain was 9 out of 10 on the pain scale; each step was painful. When we had finished my body was tingling and my pain level was Aybe 3 out of a 10. Fabulous!! When I'm finished there I go over to see Roxanne, at DESIGN FX in Studio 17. She does wonders with my rag mop full of gray hair. In Studio 17, there is also nail tech, Sherrie I received a manicure that day. Sherrie is very detailed and knowledgeable in her craft. I'm looking forward to my next day of pampering at Sola Salon. Thank you ladies read more

Been about a year since George (IG: Yorcheb) did my hair and because of covid I haven't gone back to get it touched up, but I STILL get complements on my hair color. I went in scared because the last person to color my hair absolutely ruined my hair, so he assured me that he would do exactly what I asked for, and he did! In fact, it was way more beautiful than I expected it to be. I definitely recommend you check out his work, he is such a sweetheart and an expert!! read more

I absolutely LOOOVE how George (in studio 4) did my hair I was deep dark brunette (almost black) and he turned me icy blonde!! just how I wanted he is so sweet and so good at what he does . I got my hair done a few weeks ago by Carley, and she did totally different than I had asked for and she said afterwords the picture I showed her was different and she did that basically. But I wish she would've said "hey so you're asking for this but showing me a picture That is more like this, I want you to know the difference etc." than just doing something I didn't really know was different. My hair is extremely blonde, yellow & the root looks so crazy it's not blended at all, it's patchy and I'm not happy with it. They want me to pay more to get it fixed for product which I do understand but if she would've talked to me before and explained considering I'm not a hair dresser I think the issue would've ended up better and what I expected. I mainly just want my roots fixed cause it's not blended along with the tone to get ride if the yellow. My hair has no dimension which i really wanted. read more

As a visitor from out of state staying at a local hotel, I couldn't have been more lucky to call Lynette Johnson with The Hair Lodge (Studio 9). She and her assistant were so warm, welcoming and kind. The studio itself was clean, warmly decorated, and inviting. They squeezed me in to their very busy morning and acted like it was no big deal, as they expertly and professionally cared for multiple clients, taking a very personal touch with each one. I was made to feel comfortable and at home by Lynette, her assistant, and their other clients. Even though it was obvious I wouldn't be a repeat client due to living thousands of miles away, Lynette insisted on perfection and meeting her high standards, asking to take more time to get my color just right. (I hadn't noticed any issues, but Lynette did, and wanted to make sure the final result was up to her standards.) I couldn't have hoped for a more calm, inviting, relaxed, professional experience with my cut and color. I highly recommend The Hair Lodge and Lynette Johnson. read more
