Came to Soirée with the wife and a few friends for the Caribbean brunch weekend, and let me tell you this isn't your ordinary coffee bar. This coffee bar is on steroids. The food, ambiance, deserts, drinks and service were absolutely amazing. The vibe here was so chill. Chef Clive and Chef Janelle were both very personable. There was a live DJ and steel drum player. We had such a good time, and the food was so immaculate that we came back the following Sunday. If you haven't been here, add Soirée to your list! As a former New Yorker, it was also nice to learn that the chef-owner is originally from Brooklyn and is Trini. Came here for a girls' brunch and we basically ordered the entire menu to share -- no regrets. The rasta pasta must be a star because it was already sold out, and we were so sad to miss it. Next time for sure. The catfish and grits were cooked perfectly and full of flavor -- highly recommended. The fried chicken was seasoned just right, perfectly crunchy on the outside, and juicy inside. Waffles were soft and fluffy, exactly how they should be. Get the Avacado toast for a lighter option. That said, I have gotten coffee here twice, and my drink and the service have been good both times. I've gotten a lavender vanilla iced latte with almond milk both times I've come. They have a lot of flavor options to choose from for beverages. I will say that the prices are a bit high though. My small sized drink was $7, which is more than Starbucks. I'm a fan of this place! The location is great...convenient for me. Their signature drinks/lattes are always tasty and so are their breakfast options. I believe they have lunch options too but I've only had breakfast/brunch. They have a solid loyalty program so that's another factor that keeps me coming back. Wasn't sure what to expect upon arrival but by the end of the meal, I had bought a bag of coffee beans and chatted up the owner. There was plenty of parking nearby and the wait to be seated wasn't long at all. Though, I'd recommend making a reservation rather than taking a chance on just walking in. The food was hot when it arrived and was well seasoned. I had the Billie Holiday latte which was amazing! There's a stage and it looked like they were setting up to begin live music just as we were leaving. I made my first latte using the beans I bought and they are of amazing quality! The ambience is clean and modern with the space feeling open and relaxed with music playing in the background. I read reviews that the music was too loud but I found it to be the right level and did not interfere with the meal or any discussions. The service was prompt and very friendly but not extremely fast. We live in a rushed environment and would certainly recommend you carve out 45-60 minutes and really enjoy your time. The food was made to order and worth the wait. The eggs were not overcooked and the food was perfectly seasoned. I also had breakfast potatoes not pictured and they were crispy and had bell pepper and onions added which were excellent. The pork chop was the star of the show and was fantastic.
