Here's what makes Dmb stand out from the rest. Dan was refreshingly transparent and honest with ALL aspects of my project. No BS. Once into the project, he suggested a couple of changes from the original plan that greatly enhanced the final look of my kitchen. He also convinced me to change my countertop product to a less expensive material that would be easier to upkeep and still look great. Saved me several thousand dollars on that one! I liked communicating with Dan because he is first and foremost a professional, explains things clearly (sometimes over and over for me to fully comprehend), and is so patient and kind hearted. When we started, we only knew what we didn't like about our current kitchen. Like any major…read moreproject, we started by reaching out to a couple of vendors to get quotes, that's where we met Alon, the project manager for Lumina Builders. What immediately stood out to us was that he had ideas and solutions to address our pain points and make enhancements, we wouldn't have ever considered, and didn't just wait for us to tell him how we wanted things. He created a vision for us in that first quote visit. The other contractor we spoke to didn't provide any ideas just asked us how we wanted it. It was a very easy decision to go with Alon and Lumina Builders. Our project was estimated to take 2-3 months and ultimately took two and a half months to complete. We designed a brand new kitchen, addressing all of our concerns and adding a few recommendations from Alon to streamline some areas. They ripped everything out aside from the flooring and walls. We got brand new custom cabinets, custom lighting, and new countertops. Our fridge was moved to a new, more accessible area. Our sink was shifted down to align with the stove for continuity sake (never realized how much I hated it being in a corner previously). We had a new little cabinet built in our little breakfast nook area and we had an appliance garage built to house everything that took up counter space. Everything is so much brighter and more open and, even though we know the demensions are roughly the same, it feels so much wider. We are ecstatic with how everything came out. Alon is a genius. He was responsive to us throughout the project, checking in weekly to see how things were going, giving us peace of mind throughout this process, as first time remodelers. David was the absolute best in overseeing my bathroom restoration. He communicates in a timely manner and is very thorough with his work. I was told I would need my vanity replaced but I wanted to keep the old vanity top. David went out of his way to find the exact dimensions so that there would be no fuss. There was trouble when I ordered the vanity from home depot, but David was able to find the exact same vanity for a similar price and really came through for us. They helped us change the cabinet layout a bit and it ends up being more functional while also having much more usable space. The flooring and baseboards turned out terrific, it really changes the look and feel of the space. We had picked out something that was not one of their usual suppliers, but that was no problem. They really work with you to get exactly what you want. All the workers were friendly, skilled and left our house clean at the end of the day. My thanks to everyone that worked on our project.
