That said, Brooklyn Tails and Trails saved the day! In fact, as it turns out, I think the dog walking is better for Cal than what day care would be. Cal also loves getting walked twice a day by PJ, who is the best dog walker ever. I think he's more like a camp counselor for dogs. Cal always has a blast and loves walking with his friends, who are all just as sweet as he is. PJ also takes great pictures of Cal and his friends, and writes the most creative captions that really capture the moment. I also think the walking covers 2 needs; (1) Cal gets the exercise he needs, and (2) he gets to socialize with other dogs. Then, in between walks, he gets to nap in his own bed, in a serene environment, as opposed to being in a chaotic environment like day care.Cal has a little anxiety since he's a rescue, so having him walk with Brooklyn Tails and Trails is so much better for him. I also love having the peace of mind that Cal is safe while I'm at work, and being taken care of, as PJ comes to walk him twice a day. I highly recommend Brooklyn Tails and Trails, and if you live in DUMBO, you'll get to have PJ walk your dog. I've also met some of the other walkers, and they are all great, so no matter which neighborhood you live in, you'll have someone reliable walking your dog.

I thoroughly enjoy seeing the dog romps that Will posts to their Instagram page as well as the photo updates that are shared. The new tagging system that uses AI to automatically find Leo's photos within the daily photo sets is super convenient as well. The van service has been a godsend, especially for me as a non-car owner in New York City. And pickup and drop off is always very seamless. I continue to be a customer and Leo continues to be a client at Glencadia and I look forward to using them again in the future!

Our dog came home with a cut on his nose, filthy, and completely lethargic -- he wouldn't eat or move the next day. We rushed him to an emergency vet and discovered he had a serious skin infection and a fever. He is now on two weeks of antibiotics and has to wear a cone of shame. Total cost to us: $1,500 in emergency vet bills on top of the $900 we already paid them. When we contacted Glencadia, they refused to reimburse us or even have a real conversation about what happened. Their response was essentially: "you signed a disclaimer, sue us." They never emailed or called us to let us know our dog was injured or unwell during his stay. The photos they posted of him during the trip appeared deliberately framed to hide any signs of his condition. This is what you're signing up for. Protect your pet and go elsewhere.

She came on a really short notice to meet my two cats and grab a set of my keys and I felt comfortable after meeting her - she's super friendly and nice and seems to really love cats. I had her come twice over the weekend to feed and play with them (and do some light litterbox cleaning) and she could not have been better! Each visit was $25 all in and she keeps you updated with texts and photos and even videos. It was really nice to see my cats in action while I was missing them and see how well taken care of they were. Dami even cleaned and washed their food bowls without being asked! She was super personable and a huge animal lover and I'll definitely be using her for future cat sitting visits :)

Although they were, at the time reserved and very busy, they took the time to speak with me on the phone and go over everything with what they did with the pups and how they took care of them each individually and very conscientiously and with great care and I was very impressed with their service and the level of care they provided for the pet parents' fur babies. They reassured me that they would do everything possible to make sure he was extremely well taken care of and that his separation anxiety was also addressed while his mom was away on business so that way when she came home he would be a better puppy and most likely to react as strongly when she went away the next time. I like that they have specific program just for separation anxiety to calm the pets as well, you can tell they take a lot of pride in their work and really care about the animals and that the customers are happy with the great level of care they provide for their babies. I would recommend this place because I would even choose this place myself for my pets, if I were ever visiting there in Jersey City that is, and that really says a lot.

Also 4 out of the 6 schedule visits the sitters showed up more than two hours late. On top of that the tracking app and check-in and check-out scans were very conveniently "not working " luckily we have a home security system that records the times they were there. In one occasion we also noticed they didn't bother to clean the litter box so we had to contact their boss and make them go back to clean it. How ridiculous I am doing that so called bosses job. Not to mention the sitter looked in boxes that looked like jewelry boxes luckily we had hid those away beforehand. So if you are ok with all this go for it. Otherwise you are better off getting someone off the street to pet sit for you. No it is not a mistake. I literately spoke to Pedro over the phone and he made up excuses and he still charged me. I'm adding the payment I made. I can't believe they have no shame. Specially after being so negligent, wow, everyone stay away this is the type of people you let in your home.
