I wish I could give Nicole more than five stars. I've used her pet sitting services twice in the past year and will definitely be using her again for any other time in the future. I have two female guinea pigs who are both four years old, and I can't think of anyone else in the city I would trust more to watch my pets. I tend to be kind of an anxious pet parent-- constantly checking nails and teeth and worried every little cough is an upper respiratory infection. I had a hard time finding a pet sitter I could trust, especially one familiar with caring for guinea pigs and other small animals. Then I found Nicole! I reached out in the morning and she had responded by the early afternoon, confirming that she did have availability for the dates I would be out of town. We met in person a few days later at her apartment, where she had me fill out an intake form, and asked about my guinea pigs. One of them has to take a daily oral medication, and Nicole had no problem giving her the correct dosage. The other guinea pig tends to be skittish and shy, but seemed to warm up to Nicole very quickly. She was also kind enough to keep me updated with pictures of my babies. I used Nicole's services again when I had to travel internationally. I was so thankful she had some last minute availability. Not only that, but she was able to provide a spacious cage for my girls (the first time I brought my own) and even had a bag of Timothy hay waiting for them. I always miss them when I travel, but my mind was at ease knowing they were in Nicole's care. Both times she has even kindly washed their fleece cage liners. Nicole is very professional (responds to emails/texts very quickly) and clearly experienced with caring for a wide variety of animals. More than that, I would choose Nicole again and again because she treats my pets like they're her own, and I know they're in the safest possible hands when they stay with her. She isn't just there to feed and water them-- she really takes care of them. She's let me know when someone was sneezing a lot or had a lot of discharge around the eyes. It's something someone with less experience might have missed, but not Nicole. Not only that, her rates are incredibly reasonable, and she is flexible to accommodate any changes in plans. Nicole has been been walking, boarding and loving my dog Harry for over three years (maybe 4:) and she is seriously awesome. I think she loves my little guy almost as much as I do. She's good with harry. He's a wonderful dog, however he's has some challenging health problems and Nicole has been extremely caring and mindful of his limitations.
