I truly did my best to adhere to her many strict rules as a paying client. All I expected in return…read morewas professionalism, which unfortunately I did not receive. After I paid in full, I was contacted in a belittling and condescending tone no greeting, just "didn't I tell you." I decided not to board my bunny with her after that interaction. You would think I hadn't paid, based on how I was spoken to, but I had paid in full. Professionalism and basic customer service are the simplest things a business can offer, and they make all the difference in how clients feel. It's not always what you say, but how you say it. That's all. God bless. Adding on since she responded: I'm honestly shocked by this owners response. None of what she's claiming about me threatening her or mentioning ICE ever happened and the fact that she would post something so inflammatory publicly says a lot about her professionalism. I paid in full and simply expected clear communication and respect, which I did not receive. The moment I was spoken to in a condescending tone, I decided not to move forward and that's it. Anyone reading can see that I've kept my review factual and respectful. I have the messages, emails, and payment receipts to back up everything stated. I wish her well, but this is exactly why I chose not to entrust my pet to her care.

We left our dog at this daycare while away on a trip and came back to him in terrible shape. His…read morepaw was so irritated that he didn't want to walk on it, his eyes were full of gunk and he could barely keep them open, and he had a runny nose. While I don't think my dog was mistreated, Carol Ann failed to communicate that anything was wrong which is a huge problem. When my husband asked her if she noticed anything while there she proceeded to say "well he did have a slight cough at one point, but I called and told you". This was a complete lie, she never called him once while we were away. Since then we've had to take him to the vet twice, my dog has not been the same at all, lacks energy, is throwing up and not once has she even been sympathetic or apologetic. Instead she was defensive, rude, talked over him when he was trying to explain everything that was going on, and sounded like she was whining more than anything. We later realized that while she asked if my dog was vaccinated, she never asked for the proof and so I think she doesn't check for proper documentation- allowing anyone to leave their dog at her daycare. Lesson learned, never again.

I had a terrible experience with this place. The New York State law to stop pet stores from selling…read moreanimals from unvetted breeders came too late for us. We bought a sweet female Shih Poo, Carly from Zoorama. Sadly, just five months after bringing Carly home, the vet diagnosed her with a serious progressive kidney disease. She died only six years later, which was heartbreaking and unexpected. It's so upsetting that Zoorama cared more about making money than about the health of their animals. They charged high prices but didn't make sure their breeders were responsible. Because of this, we ended up with a very sick puppy, and our family suffered. I'm very disappointed in Zoorama's dishonest practices which only ceased after the law went into effect.

I got a Cavalier King Charles from Zoo-Rama in April and had a good experience. The manager, Jay is…read morelovely and very helpful. The store gives you everything you need to take home a new puppy which is extremely helpful to a first time pet-owner (food, toys, weepads, bowls, treats). My cavalier, Lucy is healthy and happy. Her temperament is excellent, she's social, kind with everyone she meets, other dogs and children. In general, when you take your dog for their first check-up they may have common things like an ear infection or gastro issue. Highly recommend purchasing pet insurance 2-weeks before you take home your furbaby, as they have waiting periods of about 2 - weeks and so anything the vet catches in that time they won't cover or cover sometimes in the future. Another thing that helped me was purchasing an older puppy (4 and half months) because then they have all their wellness vaccines usually - reduces costs and makes it a little easier if considering doggy daycare.

It's says cancellation, and it's before the time given so it shouldn't result in loss of deposit well it's not 7/4 yet. So that means I should be given my money back. Worse part is i was gonna use it as credit and donate half of it to the store and probably send some friends I know to go get there pets there for their kids. I never even got mad or complained when they messed up my dog and botched her hair and cut her a few times to where she now has scabs on her back and right shoulder. This is why businesses in the Bronx fail, never rip a customer off you might have made $300 off of me but you lost a whole customer base and your business will ultimately fail. God protects his kind hearted and punishes those who look to take advantage. Don't worry I give it less than a Year esp with B bb.

Dog owners beware if you want to support a business that will help ALL dogs, pretty funny if you…read moreconsider the name of this institution (the girls who get it, get it, the girls who don't, don't). According to their online description, they may charge extra for "aggressive breeds," and would provide an "assessment" to determine if they can help board them. Well I can tell you that an assessment is a straight up dog breed discrimination. Just mentioning that you would need to house your sweet, friendly pitties and they immediately drop you like a hot potato. No "assessment" provided whatsoever. Just mentioned that the dogs are pit bulls and was given an immediate no. Didn't even see or meet the dogs. Highly unprofessional and irresponsible. Why put up a note that they would seemingly provide service for all kinds of dogs when they clearly don't? Also a quick cursory scroll of the 5star reviews show that they skew towards smaller, "cute" dogs. Further evidence that they are falsely advertising their services. If you can only handle small dogs, please just make that clear so that nobody can waste their time here again. In conclusion: Parents of pitties beware of this place!! And other pet parents-- please make an effort to support pet daycares that will provide service to all dogs, especially if they have done nothing wrong, and have always been good dogs. Will be telling all my dog parents to stay away from this place. See also attached the goodest beans that are looking for quality daycare services that this place clearly does not provide.

I brought my aussie/corgi in for grooming, requesting a haircut styling him a corgi butt and an…read moreaussie head. The haircut was perfect and my dog now looks and smells SO GOOD. Unfortunately, because my dog has trauma from having had his dewclaws removed (I didn't do it to him - he's a rescue) he would not allow the groomer to clip his toenails. They asked us to come in and help but our dog was just so stressed out at that point that we couldn't touch his paws without him going into a panic. This is unfortunate because the main reason I was paying a groomer was to get help with clipping his claws. I just can't do it myself. I guess next time we can try giving him some anti-anxiety medication and see if that works. The groomer did take a little off the price because of not being able to cut his nails. I would recommend this groomer to anyone who has a well-behaved dog who is amenable to being groomed. I would not recommend them if you have an anxious or fearful dog. The haircut itself was really perfect and beautiful. I will probably try another groomer just because I need my dog's claws cut short, but if my dog was better behaved I would go back to this place because they give good haircuts.
