I have been in search for a new groomer for my two golden retrievers for a few months now after having bad experiences with two other local places in Astoria. I was put at ease after reading all their positive reviews so I gave them a shot. We were scheduled this past Friday for a 9AM and 10AM appt. We got there a little early but Beth didn't mind. She was so nice and attentive. She asked me all the right questions, wrote down all of my instructions and was just so easy to deal with. The whole time my dogs were in their care, I was informed about everything. I even got videos during their grooming session as my male golden retriever is 9 years old and so delicate. I am SO thankful that I found this place! I had even asked for their holiday grooming schedule was looking like before we left. They have really gotten to know our pup and always communicate if anything seemed out of the ordinary during their time with him (irregular stool, decrease in energy, didn't want to eat, etc.) I've always felt comfortable leaving our pup in their hands. She responded to my initial email request from their site pretty quickly and then was SUPER responsive. She came on a really short notice to meet my two cats and grab a set of my keys and I felt comfortable after meeting her - she's super friendly and nice and seems to really love cats. I had her come twice over the weekend to feed and play with them (and do some light litterbox cleaning) and she could not have been better! Each visit was $25 all in and she keeps you updated with texts and photos and even videos. It was really nice to see my cats in action while I was missing them and see how well taken care of they were. Dami even cleaned and washed their food bowls without being asked! She was super personable and a huge animal lover and I'll definitely be using her for future cat sitting visits :)

One of our dogs was extremely fearful when we adopted her a few years ago. After a lot of work with multiple great dog trainers, play therapy, and eventually an SSRI, she improved a lot. But after we started her on walks with Igor and the team, she's gained even more confidence, is happier, and it's so noticeable. Also, when I was interested in making sure we could reinforce what Igor was doing on their walks, he went out of his way to show me what he does, and took us on a walk with the dogs to give us experience.
