I had recently gotten gel nails done two days ago and the next day they started peeling off so I stopped by this location for a new set and she removed my gel nails and put a new set on in about 20 minutes.. it was so fast but so thorough and they look gorgeous. The owner was so nice and the salon is open and clean!She talked me into a pedicure ( it didn't take much convincing ) and I am so glad I said yes because it's been the best pedicure I've ever received. They got me in a quick on a Saturday right before I left for vacation. It took 3 hours for a pedicure and full set. Not even two days later I already had a nail come off. By the following Friday. All of my nails except for thumbnails had come off. They did not even last ONE week. Very disappointing. I was also charged $110 for a basic gel, pedicure and basic full set. I've been here 3 times. Each time it's been someone different. I was happy with the first and second time . Today, was a waste of money! First, I had two different people working on my nails. Second, I felt rushed to choose a color. Third, I can't ask a question because no one seems to speak fluent English. I asked for polish change no manicure. I chose the color and again, rushed. I don't have acrylic nails or fillers! These are my nails. The bottom line, the finish isn't smooth and shiny! I went into the salon with a very specific look for my nails. I advised the owners niece on what I wanted with reference pictures. She was extremely rude and did not say 5 words to me. She made me very uncomfortable and was always asking me to relax. I apologized to her if I had done anything wrong... no reply. After paying over $60.00 ( nail tips, with ombré (white), sparkle top coat) they started to peel within a week. I was informed she could only do ombré from pink to white, not purple to pink (lies)! I returned for a fill. She was again very rude. She was polite to her coworker laughing and dancing in the shop. She was friendly to another woman who entered... not me!!! I will never return to that shop. Also, sending a message on their webpage is pointless, they don't reply. read more

I started off very trepidatious of this place.The guy that did my nails laughed at me several times & there was nothing funny....I was asking for my previous gels to be soaked off(not drilled)I don't think there is anything funny about that....My gel manicure did not even last 1 week & worst of all when I went in to have them repaired he put a non-gel polish on to patch them...I will never return. read more

I've been going here for years and have been very pleased with my manicures and pedicures. I can easily go three weeks and my nails still look like they were freshly done (I use the gel coat). My nail guy always does the little things that make a difference between a mediocre manicure and a great one, like making sure the whole nail is smooth, the fill is tapered into the cuticle, the shape is consistent nail to nail, and the nail length is consistent. He also paints around the edges of the nails. I always had broken nails at the place I went previously and it was way more expensive. I've been coming here for over ten years and I think I have had maybe one or two broken nails and they were my fault. The other thing that is very important to me is cleanliness. This place is consistently clean and I don't worry about my nails getting infected. As for the comment about people being rude, I think it's partly a cultural thing and partly a language barrier. Most of the nail techs speak good English but I've noticed that some of them are kind of shy. Having lived in another country myself, I totally understand the reticence to engage in a conversation where it may be difficult to understand everything. Quick service, friendly enough. My nails looked great after the $25 spa pedicure. I was a little concerned with the foot scrub tool. It was some sponge scrubber deal that should not be used on multiple people. There's no way it could be sanitized properly. Although I've been going to Soho Nails for a few years, I haven't written a review before. I have had several people do my nails over the years and have had good success with all of them. I have changed from regular manicures to gels and now dips. The dips always last at least 3 weeks and the nails look as good as new. The only reason I go back as soon as I do is because my nails grow out. Once I found someone I really liked I try to schedule with that person rather than just walk in and get whoever is available. They have recently changed owners/manager so if you haven't been in a while, you should check it out again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! This place is a joke! I went and got dip April 30th and it is now 10 days later and they are all falling off, I work at a desk so I don't do much with my hands. So I gave the girl a call and she said that she needed to see them and that they are not going to fix for free, I just paid $40 for nails that lasted no longer then a week. Dip last 3 weeks not 10 days, horrible job and horrible customer service. Eureka Nails is right down the way and they are amazing, the only reason these people got my money was because everyone else was close and I was desperate, well I've learned my lesson! read more

I opted for the Spa Pedicure, it was only $25 and was better than any pedicure I've ever had including some really fancy expensive ones. They massaged our legs and feet for 10-15 minutes, it was amazing! They truly go above and beyond to make it a good experience. I'm really happy with my experience here! Way to go! read more

The staff is so wonderful and kind! So many colors to choose from, from brands such as OPI and China Glaze. Very clean and welcoming environment. Pretty great experience! It's only the second time I've ever gotten my nails done, so I'm not exactly an expert, but my tech did an awesome job. I got a pedicure and a shellace manicure. Their massage chairs are amazing!! The shellac mani was FLAWLESS and long lasting. The pedicure was nice & neat. They can do adorable little flowers on your toes, (although I opted out, I saw them doing them on another girl and they were so cute!) The salon was nice & clean and there were plenty of colors to chose from. I'm knocking off one star though, because I had to wait a long time, because they were very busy. I made a 12:30 appt, but didn't get to go until 12:50. Waiting wasn't too bad because it was a lazy Saturday and I didn't have anything else to do, but still!! The girl who checked me in continued to file her nails instead of talk to me, the guy who did my nails definitely wasn't polite and was a little too rough pulling my cuticles. But when I was done, it was hands down the best shellac manicure I've had in awhile. And I've been getting my nails done for a long time. It is now going on week 3 of my shellac French mani, and with a little filing and a quick clear coat they still look flawless. On other notes - The massage chairs seemed nice, the place was clean, and the price was fair (especially since my nails have lasted every bit of 2.5 weeks and counting).
