Omelette ($21): Organic eggs, porcini, and parmigiano reggiano (aged 24 months), served with a simple salad.

My first meal in NYC this trip, and it was a simple delight. The heart wants what the heart wants. In my case, it was an omelette at dinner time. Sogno Toscano Chelsea delivered - in spades. Organic eggs, porcini, and parmigiano reggiano (aged 24 months), served with a simple salad. Perfectly cooked. Savory and delicious. I could tasted the quality of the ingredients. Well worth the $21 I paid for it. Thank you, Sogno Toscano Chelsea, for a memorable start to my week in New York City.

I went with Coworkers for dinner and I was blown away! Everything was incredible and great for sharing! Would love to come back!

Came here with a friend and we got the bolognese pinsa to share... and it was not terrific. While the service was fast and the inside was really cute, the pinsa was just OK. the pizza was giving store-bought flatbread and the mortadella was a bit old. The burrata was fresh, but tasted like any other burrata. Would definitely not come back for the food.

This is a cute coffee shop the inside of it is super nice. They also turn into a bar/restaurant as they have wine and make cocktails. I had a cappuccino it was tasty. I unfortunately could not try their croissants though due to my food allergies of nuts. There were a mix of them in the case and they had no more regular ones in the back. Oh well. The music they were playing felt like you were back in Italy. I felt a little rushed while putting in my order but service was fine.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. We stumbled into this GEM on our last evening in NYC West Village. We had the Fromaggio experience to start, the focaccia bread to die for. Artichoke Salad best salad I've had. The Tartuffo/Truffle pasta simply divine. Best part of it all was the ambiance w the Basso sultry velvet background music. I would highly recommend to everyone. Simply amazing

Came here for a wine tasting event. It's small but very cute and cozy inside. Enjoyed some of the wines but most of the food pairings were a miss. The pasta was pretty average and unremarkable and some of the other dishes were not that great. Cheese and charcuterie plates weren't bad.

Iced coffee in a wine glass, yes please!! The place itself is pretty small, but does have both indoor and outdoor seating. I needed to visit the second I heard that they serve your drink in a wine glass and it was a great experience!! I really liked my drink and my friend liked theirs as well. They even have non-dairy milk options :) the omelette came highly recommended and was also a hit, so the brunch food was also amazing - highly recommend checking this place out! The waitress was also very kind and so was all the staff, so it was a great experience overall

We are so happy to have this great spot in the neighborhood. They open at 8 am, the menu is the same from breakfast to dinner. You can order eggs all day or have pasta for breakfast. We found out this spot yesterday and have been here twice already! Their pastry are so fresh and delicious. The croissants are so fresh and on the weekends, they are sold out by noon, so make sure you get there a bit earlier. The sandwiches are to die for, my mouth is wasting now as I'm writing this review. The bread is crunchy, but soft, it doesn't hurt the top of your mouth. We ordered the Bufalina and Auténtica. The meat was so fresh and it was the perfect ratio of greens, cheese and meat. The prosciutto was not stringy when you bite into the sandwich. I hate it when I bite into a sandwich and a whole chunk of prosciutto for my next bite come along with it. This sandwich doesn't have this problem! I don't know what magic they do with it. Their coffee is great too! They only have vanilla flavored latte, but it's made very well. I men's they are Italians, flavored latte isn't their thing. Their Chai is great too!! Not too spicy, yet very cinnamony. I also ordered the Carbonara for breakfast the next day. It was the perfect hungover dish. My husband got the Savory Croissant and it was really good too! Enough about the food, the space is really cozy like a European cafe. The outdoor area is nice for a warmer day out! Our server, Saveiro, adds to the experience with his friendly demeanor and authentic Italian accent, transporting us to a small town in Italy. Overall, the place offers truly authentic Italian food with the highest quality produce. We've already recommended it to multiple neighbors, and they all love it too! Can't wait to explore more of their dishes.

Yesterday afternoon a friend I made at Scentxplore took me to Sogno Toscano Chelsea for coffee and cake. Located on West 28th Street, this was convenient while attending the convention. This restaurant looked pretty on the block with radiant lighting. Gihan had enjoyed a tasty pastry and latte served in a wine glass on Friday. She chose that again but this time there were no pastries. There was Pannetone which I particularly like especially during the Christmas season. I had a cappuccino and a fat slice of the tender Pannetone. We sat at a round table and enjoyed the atmosphere. The server was proficient and remembered Gihan from the day before. The interior of the restaurant was pretty with beautiful china and one felt that we were in Italy at a trattoria. I plan on returning and buying the a full pannetone soon.

This is such a cute little spot by the High Line in Chelsea. I've gone for dinner and during the day for an iced latte and spritz. Both experiences were great. The sandwich was the standout because the bread is so so good. It's a great place for brunch or for date night if you're looking for an intimate ambiance.

As I walked in and saw just how swanky this place is I panicked - there was no way we could just walk in here without a reservation, right? But the hostess was, thankfully, so down to earth. I was straight up like hey I totally messed up and thought we could just walk in here, she was like you know what, let me see what we have. Lo and behold, she did have a table for us - as long as we were out in an hour and a half, which was just the right amount of time. Stepping into this place feels like you're in some secret, super special cocktail club. Decor is super high end, vibes are upscale AF. The cocktail menu is incredible -- and incredibly pricey, but truly worth it. I ordered the Valentino which was strong and sweet, really well made. They gave out a complimentary nut mix that was also delicious. Service was swift and gracious. If you're looking for a spot to impress a date, this is it.

The mint Moroccan tea gave the drink a cool, refreshing taste on every sip. I also tried the Silver Screen, the closest drink I could find to an old fashioned. It was interesting, there was definitely a hint of a buttery taste. Overall a really balanced bourbon drink. I walked in and found room at the standing tables. A bar seat eventually opened up but I was already on my second drink by then. Definitely make reservations if you're planning a visit!

The bar seating was plentiful and comfortable. There is plenty of space for people to stand behind the bar or a high top tables enjoying happy hour after work. If you go at 4:30 or 5, it's a bit calmer as the after work crowd trickles in. And as the evening went on, it started to get more and more packed, and it became a really lively vibe. After my friend left for another function, I stuck around a little bit longer for a little solo dinner. I had a glass of Prosecco off the happy hour menu followed by a dirty martini, and I did request to look at their full dinner menu because there was a couple items that I wanted to try. I wanted to try the duck Ragu and halloumi cheese, both of which were absolutely fantastic. The halloumi cheese was perfectly grilled and flavorful, and the duck Ragu was very comforting. I highly recommend both dishes. I ended up chatting with a woman sitting next to me who happened to work with select apertivo, and next thing I know one of the bartenders handed me a lovely bright cocktail to try on the house. It was a refreshing bubbly Barlume spritz that I'll definitely have to get again next time. Overall, I had a really great time at Barlume. The service was excellent from the servers and the bartenders, and they were all very attentive, personable and friendly throughout the evening. I'll definitely be back for happy hour or dinner with friends!

It's a small area with the tables pretty close together. We were given a table in the far corner, which was perfect for comfort and looking out at the restaurant. Two of us each ordered a glass of house wine, which were "ok." We opted for the Boqueria Experience, which is $65 per person and includes a variety of chef-selected tapas, a paella and an order of the restaurant's special JAMÓN IBÉRICO DE BELLOTA, which is described on the charcuterie menu as aged 48 months, with deep marbling, rich and nutty flavor. We enjoyed most of the tapas, including the potatoes, the beef/lamb balls, the salad and bruschetta. The croquettes were "ok" with the heavy aeoli masking some of the flavor. The seafood paella was good and was different from ones I've had in the past, with the caramelized layer on the bottom. Yum. Honestly, none of us was a big fan of the Jamon Iberico de Bellota. I'm sure it's special and luxurious, but we found it not to have much flavor. Frankly, it was a big disappointment for us. The service was beyond excellent. We were very pleased with the timing of the presentation of the meal, the superb water service and the general enthusiasm and pleasantness of the Staff. We will come back and try different items on the ala carte menu. I thought there would be more seafood and meat tapas offerings in the "Experience". Instead, it was a lot of cheese, vegetables, dates and bread. Although $65 per person likely was a good value for what we got, I think the tapas items were heavy on the lower cost tapas and that it wasn't a true top-of-the-line "Experience". A seafood dish or even a chicken dish (chicken wings) instead of one of the two croquette offerings would have helped.

We shared the crispy artichokes (outstanding) and the cacio e Pepe arancini (where the fried parsley was especially unique and delicious) to start. I had the eggplant parmesan which reminded me of an eggplant dish I had in Venice -- but better. My husband had the ricotta cavatelli which was also great. I found the hodgepodge of old-timey decor to be a bit kitsch, but to each their own. I came with a group on a weeknight with no reservation. We were seated immediately on a high wood table. Although the bar wasn't busy (there were plenty of empty spaces, small groups scattered throughout the area), the service was quite slow. The server was inattentive and took a while to take our orders. We had to ask her for water three times, searching for her across the room in an attempt to catch her attention. She was a bit absent during the two-ish hours we were there. On the bright side, the drinks were fairly good. I ordered this strawberry vodka cocktail topped with whole mint. I'm wary of vodka for its harsh, unpleasant taste, but I found this drink to actually be very pleasant, tasing like a fruit smoothie you'd get from a local juicer. There was also a burgundy drink served on a wine glass that tasted like the holidays. I liked that one quite a bit. Overall, Oscar Wilde was an okay experience. It's certainly a bar for a certain type of crowd, and the service was lacking, but maybe we went on a bad night. Maybe if you're lucky, you'll be served better than we were.
