We were told by the owner (I'm assuming) that we didn't know how to read even though no where on the menu does it specify only certain types of foods can be ordered mon- fri and not on the weekends. Go by all the time and have always thought about stopping. They are usually very busy. My daughter was in town and they are close so we decided to get some tacos. We pulled in and was going to park in handicap but couldn't fit and there was no where to park so we just parked there in the drive. My daughter placed the order clearly. She left a $10 tip!!! We got home and her tacos were not there. So we went back. There was no one there so we parked in regular spot. My daughter went up and told them she did not get her tacos. They gave her a difficult time!!! Then mentioned that we parked correctly this time. That customers were complaining. We were there at the window waiting for our food watching the customers in case I needed to move my car. They lied, no one complained. We were never in anyone way. They begrudgingly gave my daughter her two tacos and were very rude about. We got home and they were still made incorrectly!!!!! They had a chance at new customers but will never go back there again and will discourage anyone I know from going there. No one deserves such bad service and to be treated so rudely!!! They certainly didn't deserve the $10 tip!!!!! read more

I have had this place twice. The first time I went for lunch and had 3 chorizo tacos. They weren't that great and were extremely greasy. I literally could have filled a shot glass with all the grease that came out of my tacos. The taste wasn't terrible but there are so many other places around where you can find better tacos. I decided to try them a second time to try out their breakfast tacos one morning. I still wasn't impressed. I ordered 2 sausage, egg and cheese tacos but the sausage was cut up sausage from a link. I was expecting this to be ground sausage I guess. The breakfast tacos were sub par to say the least in regards to taste. Well, we have heard good things about Sofy's, and finally had a chance to go over there. My friend and I show up and there are 3 employees working and no customers but us. We were never greeted, and we stood there for awhile waiting to be acknowledged...but we were never. They all seemed to be in their own conversation and basically ignored us completely. Finally, I yelled to them "goodbye, thanks for nothing!" Without a doubt, the best breakfast tacos anywhere near the Woodlands. Generous portions and very affordable. Also sampled the poblano and cheese tamales which were excellent. We stopped by Sofy's this morning for breakfast tacos and we're SO glad we did! Sofy was super sweet and quickly had our tacos prepared. You can tell she takes pride in her food. I felt like one of my Tias was making us breakfast. We waited at one of the covered picnic tables. There were paper towels and jalapeños on all the tables. She also had agua frescas, a cooler with chilled sodas, and a variety of salsas. When our order was ready Sofy decided she wanted us to try her rice and fajitas too and served us a small sample. It smelled so good that we scarfed it down on the drive back to our hotel. SO GOOD! Our tacos were absolutely delicious! The flour tortillas, the beans, the eggs, and the potatoes were all so flavorful. The green salsa had a great flavor and heat, but not too much heat for us.
