Love this truck. Sofy is a doll and makes almost everything by hand. The breakfast tacos are great, the specials are almost always consistently awesome and the service from Sofy is great and pleasant. Only ding is either don't be picky about selection of drinks as they have refrescos and sugar drinks plus water. Not coffee, tea, diet drinks, beer. That said, if you remember to bring your own, that's no problem. all that said, the homemade salsas are worth it my themselves. All of this makes this light years better than that Taqueria a rock's throw away. read more

We stopped by Sofy's this morning for breakfast tacos and we're SO glad we did! Sofy was super sweet and quickly had our tacos prepared. You can tell she takes pride in her food. I felt like one of my Tias was making us breakfast. We waited at one of the covered picnic tables. There were paper towels and jalapeños on all the tables. She also had agua frescas, a cooler with chilled sodas, and a variety of salsas. When our order was ready Sofy decided she wanted us to try her rice and fajitas too and served us a small sample. It smelled so good that we scarfed it down on the drive back to our hotel. SO GOOD! Our tacos were absolutely delicious! The flour tortillas, the beans, the eggs, and the potatoes were all so flavorful. The green salsa had a great flavor and heat, but not too much heat for us. Sofy's makes the BEST breakfast tacos I have had in many years. By far there is no other location in or near the Woodlands that comes remotely close. Everything is handmade and fresh. The salsa is unbelievably good. You can get tamales on Saturdays, I highly recommend trying them. Bring cash as no cards are accepted. read more

This is really Mexican food. The flavor is great and the variety excellent. They have a variety of salsas spicy and not so spicy.

My husband and I always say it's like visiting your tia, abuela or mama with all the great food & the inviting atmosphere. Fresh handmade flour tortillas, salsa & guacamole will be found here. I absolutely love this lady's food! She can adjust flavors according to your taste so if it's spicy you want, you got it. In the mood for something mild, no problem! I came here with the family around 8AM on a Saturday and the taco truck was already busy. There were two couples in line before me and two families already seated at the picnic tables already enjoying their breakfast. We quickly made it to the front of the line and ordered the scrambled eggs breakfast plate and the chilaquiles breakfast plate both come with potatoes and beans. We also ordered two bacon egg and cheese tacos. Our food arrived within 10 minutes. My chilaquiles was good but I was surprised that it didn't have chicken on top (I've never had it without). Everything else was tasty as well and the portions are huge, especially for the price. I think everything after tip was around $24. Also, you pay on the way out. The area is covered and nicely decorated with hanging blooming plants and there is a little garden next to the truck. Sofy, the owner, was very friendly and I could tell several of the customers were regulars as she called them by name. She was also taking about an order she had for the upcoming weekend for 250 people!!! So if you are in need of tons of tacos for an event this is the place for you. read more

Decide to try this place out after work and it did not disappoint. Best flour tortillas I've ever had! The barbacoa is on point! Not too greasy. I also tried the chorizo and eggs which was also delish! Very big portion and the green salsa is very good as well! Will definitely be going here more often after work. I tried this place after reading good reviews on Yelp and it did not disappoint! These are the BEST breakfast tacos I have ever eaten in my life! I have gone back 3 days in a row despite supposedly being on a diet. Sofy is such as sweet heart and really takes pride in what she does. She says the tacos are so good because she makes them with love and I believe it. She makes everything fresh when you order it but is quick at the same time. We used to live in Galveston long ago and then the Clear Lake area and after moving to this side of Houston, we lamented the lack of breakfast tacos (still miss the breakfast burrito like the bronco burrito of Galveston). We found Sofy's on Yelp and took a drive over one weekday morning. Sofy was friendly and made us up some tacos with everything--bacon, beans, eggs, cheese, and potato. The tacos are not huge by any standard and we did eat two each for breakfast. It was all very tasty. My only complaint was that it wasn't very hot, temperature wise, but it all tasted really good. The sauces were good and we shared a Mexican Coca Cola. While the ambience is lacking a bit (you are eating outside, you might be facing the dumpster), this is a solid choice. Cash only. read more
