We recently had a difficult situation at work we had a large shipment 19 pallets each carrying 15 fifty-pound boxes. The shipment had to be split into thirds with 1/3 remaining on site, one third being delivered one county north, and the other third delivered one county south all before 4:30 before offices closed. To complicate things the initial delivery didn't arrive until 11:00 am. I knew of Soft Touch because of their original location in Bloomington where people I know used them for college moves and storage. I knew they had recently opened a Indianapolis office and gave them a shot. I couldn't be happier and will use them every time again. Not only did they make both long range deliveries on time, but the first location was extremely difficult to manage and the crew didn't even bat an eye when they saw how tough it was going to be. The three man crew actually seemed excited by the challenge that began unloading pallets on the street in freezing temperatures, rolling the pallets down a steep car ramp one level beneath the Hamilton County Government center, up another difficult ramp, down an extremely long hallway of offices, to a service elevator which was too small for the pallets. There they broke down each pallet and had to then take many loads of 7 boxes each down another floor to the sub basement and eventually into a secured room. I know I'm going into a lot of unnecessary detail, but you really had to see how hard it was and easy they blew through the work. Also because I cooked up the plan and it would not have worked if these guys didn't attack it the way they did. From there they drove the hour south to Johnson County for the second delivery and when all was said and done they had 30 minutes to spare before closing time. I have moved many times in my life, and I've never had as good of an experience as I had with Soft Touch. We were moving a 3000+ Sq ft home 2-1/2 hours away, so it wasn't an easy move. Monica came out to our house to see what we had and gave us an estimate. I kid you not, it was within about $15 of the final bill! She squeezed us in on the day after a holiday. Initially she thought it might take two days, but she was able to "beef up" the crew to 6 people and three trucks so the move would only take one day. The movers were awesome. They were polite and really took care of our things. They made sure everything was placed where we wanted it in our new home. I can't say enough nice things about them. I hope I don't move again anytime soon, but if I did I would call this company! read more

I had to move my belongings one way out to Arizona from Indianapolis. These movers were so great! They offered a full loading and unloading service at a great price! The driving part was the most helpful as it was much cheaper than renting a truck and a driver. No other moving service offers this and it was great!
