I had about 1 week notice to move 3 rooms worth of furniture. John gave me the option of renting a U-Haul for a discounted rate, so I went with that. Overall I was very happy with the care they took with my furniture and the rate for services. We ended up needing an extra guy the day of and they found a someone to help. John and his son were so caring and kind upon meeting them. They did the job of unloading two U-Haul uboxes for me and did it quickly and carefully. Not one piece of my furniture was damaged in any way. I had wonderful conversations with John the entire time he and his son unloaded my belongings. They were very respectful! Outstanding service from The Moving Pros! My husband and I are in our 70's and decided to move our bedroom to the ground floor and the office upstairs. Finding a moving company to come out to the country and fulfill this goal was turning into a real chore. I knew I found a winner when I spoke with John (the owner) and he quoted the job then scheduled a date. John, Joey and Aaron showed up on time and hit the ground running. They were extremely polite, respectful and friendly. They wrapped the large pieces of furniture in blankets and took extra care on the stairway. They all worked hard and never once complained. John said they "loved challenges" and we sure gave them one with a large 4-piece antique armoire that was in the basement (still wrapped from a prior move) up to the bedroom. They patiently worked to put the pieces together and believe me it took all of them to do so. I am beyond pleased. You all rock!!! I was so happy with the service they provided I hired them to help empty out an estate home. We needed all the items on the 2nd floor brought down to the ground floor. This time John, Ethan and Austin arrived early and were ready to go. They managed to have a process at times where they lined up on the stairway and passed items down with the one at the bottom placing them in rooms. Smart! They are truly professionals and again took the time to empty everything. As John said, "it's all downstairs...everything but the walls". Moved a couple months ago and am realizing that more and more boxes are missing. Sentimental items, such as pictures of deceased family members, have somehow disappeared. I'd packed and taped almost every box before moving day. Everything meaningful had been securely packed in a u-haul box, but somehow went missing. The movers were not people I would've hired had I seen them in person first. Cheaper isn't always better. If you don't want your boxes to dissappear, hire someone else! *UPDATE* Spoke to John and was assured that nothing was stolen, which i believe. Excellent service is an understatement! We just moved to Indy and the movers we scheduled did not show up -- I contacted John (owner) in a panic and received a quick response that they could unload our 20' UHaul the same day. This team was AMAZING. I have never seen a team of movers work so hard and actually care about the items they were moving. They read box labels -- they carried "heavy" items in teams of two, "fragile" items were handled with care, and boxes were put in their designated rooms. We live in a house that was built in the early 1900s, making the stairs a challenge for moving large items. We have a sleeper sofa that we needed in a room upstairs; and this team of guys covered our banisters with moving blankets, carefully carried this VERY HEAVY sofa upstairs, took off (and put back) a bedroom door for it to fit, and came back to fix a couple of wall scuffs. When they were finished, all 5 of them shook our hands and wished us well in our new home. I am so in appreciative of their professionalism and kindness during a very stressful time. John and his guys did a great job moving us from our apartment into our new home. They were careful with our things and protected our new homes' flooring during unloading. They arrived on time and were professional and friendly. They really went out of their way to provide good customer service and help us get everything out of the apartment, even things we planned to do ourselves later such as the curtain rod and blinds. I bought a desk from Office Depot, and they have a third-party that they outsource assembling to, but both parties dropped the ball. Needless to say, I had a desk that needed to be assembled still, and I am not good at doing those kind of things at all, and I am glad I did not try, because there were many little pieces that I saw that were involved. So after the third party, kept moving the date that they were going to come assemble it, I said enough and I put out a bulletin on here asking if someone could come assemble my desk as soon as possible. John, the owner, contacted me within minutes of my post and said he could have someone out to do the job within a couple of hours. And he and his team showed up on-time and had the desk assembled within two hours and it looked great. It was also cheaper than the third party was going to charge me. His builder Mike, was awesome. They were all very friendly and professional. I would definitely hire them again, if I have another project like this. And I hope I do not have to move again for a LONG time, but if I do, I will definitely reach out to them, given my experience with them in this situation. Highly recommended. read more

First of all I would like to say this was a very personable bunch of guys. We really enjoyed getting to know them. Shout to John, Eddie, JR, Robert, Ethan, Ray. That being said this is a hard working bunch of guys. We needed to move like "yesterday", and called this company at the ended of the day. John stopped by to see what needed to be done and gave me a quote. My first red flag was when I was informed that I needed to buy all boxes, and packing supplies and then the next red flag was that I needed to rent the truck/U-Haul to move everything in. I went with it despite warning bells going off in my head. The crew came the next day to start packing. They took great care in packing and even wrapped the furniture very well with moving blankets/shrink wrap. Two days later they came to finish packing and then load the truck. Second day packing was not quite as careful as day 1 and as I began unpacking things it became quite clear the extent of the non-care in the packing and loading. Broken items rotate: tv entertainment center, still usable; book case-trashed; wooden fish stand-trashed; bowl-shattered/trashed/; coffee mug-handle broke/trashed; file folder-smashed but still usable. It took us a week to find the keyboard to the computer. Now on to the sticker shock: even though I was given a quote the final quote ended up being about one and a half times more than my original quote. All that to say they did the job they were hired to do. Would I hire them again? Probably not. I would go with my original moving company who wasn't available in this particular instance. This guy wants you to rent the truck as they are muscle only FYI...when he cancelled last minute, he referred me to an outfit that was just as sketchy. Very disappointed. read more

John and his team were awesome! I was super concerned about moving a couple treasured, and very heavy, pieces of furniture without causing any damage. Movers in the past have man-handled them leaving chips etc. and I didn't want that to happen again. He assured me they would be able to get the job done, and they did! They used shoulder straps to ensure my items were well lifted off the ground and not banged around on carts. They were super nice and extremely knowledgeable about moving, what companies are best to use in certain situations, how to pack items in a truck or container- all of it.
