My Movers Inc. was a fantastic moving experience. Fast, professional, no surprises, minimal stress…read more Very fair pricing for the high quality work they do. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We hired My Movers Inc. for an interstate move (about 12 hours away.) After a short phone call, they responded with a rough estimate based on the size of our home the following morning, which was a great response time. They scheduled an in-person walkthrough that week, showed up on time, and had an itemized, specific estimate by the end of it. We were able to schedule the move then and there, and were given guidelines on how to pack our things for the move and what wasn't allowed (e.g. liquids, fragile loose items, etc.) on the truck. Movers showed up right on schedule and cleared our packed belongings and furniture in under 2 hours. Similar story for unloading: they arrived right on time, and got all our stuff off the truck in 2 hours. Even though we didn't have a ton of stuff, I was impressed with how quickly they were able to load and unload. Everyone we interacted with throughout the process was friendly and polite. We ultimately came in slightly under the original estimate, which may not always be the case, but I appreciate when a business estimates high. Pleasant surprises are always better than unpleasant ones. :)

One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a moving company…read more We hired this company after a flood to pack up our belongings so repairs could be done and then move everything back in. We paid a very large amount for this service and also paid extra for their insurance coverage specifically to protect our valuables. During the packing process, they broke several items worth thousands of dollars. When we filed a claim, instead of taking responsibility or honoring the insurance we paid for, the owner was rude, dismissive, and outright hostile. We were essentially told "too bad, you should've packed it yourself," and "if you didn't want it broken, you shouldn't have hired us." That is completely unacceptable, especially from a business that charges for professional packing and insurance. Not only did they fail to protect our belongings, but they also refused to fairly address the damage and spoke to us in a shockingly unprofessional and offensive way. We trusted them during an already stressful time after a flood, and they made the situation much worse. I strongly warn others: do not use this company if you care about your property or expect basic professionalism and accountability. Paying extra for their insurance meant nothing, and the way we were treated afterward was insulting and outrageous.

Everyone from the office staff to the moving teams are all so courteous and committed to providing outstanding service. The pricing is competitive, and the movers are quick and careful. It is really the small things like this that speak volumes about the professionalism of a company! Thank you, Stuart's! You are awesome!!

I chose Stuart's for my out of state move based on recommendations from friends and the reviews…read more Boy.... was I ever mislead. First, they totally did not appropriately pack up one of my most valuable pictures that belonged to my late parents. The glass shattered and when I called to report this occurrence, they were very defensive. I told them, "whatever you do, take care of this" . By the time we arrived at my new home I was in tears. Second, all of my most prized Christmas ornaments did not arrive: ones with pictures of my late parents, husband and ones I had as a child. I had pointed out the containers they were in and somehow they did not make it. All of those treasures gone. What did arrive were boxes of trash and literally there was one battery wrapped up in a box. My daughter-in-law can vouch for this. Also, boxes were mislabeled. I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone.

However, I kept getting ads for U-Pack and decided to get a quote. TLDR - I am SO happy I went with this service as the process was transparent, simple, and convenient. I had about a studio apartment's worth of furniture in a 5x10 storage unit. The U-Pack team in Indy helped accommodate me and where the cube could be placed at my storage facility. The person who dropped off the cube was communicative, clear, and provided helpful advice for packing. One thing I did not realize I would need is LOTS of bungee cords and ratchet straps to hold things down, so be sure to have plenty on hand before your cube arrives. During the move, I checked the "moving dashboard" (the online portal that includes all the details of your move) religiously. It always had up-to-date information about where my cube was, which helped ease my anxiety about the move progress. My cube was picked up on a Wednesday in Indiana, and arrived the next Friday morning in California, which was right in the middle of my estimated time block (which was 5-7 business days). The movers who dropped it off were equally courteous and helpful, as I was putting my cube on the street. If you are moving to a city/area without a driveway, be sure to get all of the proper legal clearance to park your cube. I applied for a temporary no-parking permit for week to accommodate the cube if it arrived early or late. Some other tips: I cannot overstate how important it is to CALL the U-Pack customer service line for a quote/arrangements, as the online quote tool will shoot way above what your actual price will be. Secondly, the online dashboard and the ability to change details about your move online is very convenient and useful. I changed the drop-off time several times and it was always updated instantaneously. All in all, this service was seamless and helped me as a first time mover, and everyone from on-the-phone customer service reps to ABF Freight movers were exceptionally kind and helpful. I will absolutely use this service again and recommend to all.

I would maybe consider them if I had a lot to more things than what was in my 1bedroom apartment. I had to use 2 relocubes for a one bedroom apartment. These cubes are inexpensive. All you need is to pack it yourself and put locks on them. (2 per cube) you have 2 days to unload. I'm in an apartment complex and had people I hired to unload so if I call same day .. they will pick cubes up next day to get them out of the way. 1 STAR -- DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS MOVING…read more We were quoted $1,400 for a full household move scheduled for January 27, 2026, confirmed multiple times over two weeks. This included 3 movers, 5 hours (including travel) and a free kitchen pack. We paid a deposit and reconfirmed all details by phone and text. On the morning of the move (9am), we were asked to reschedule due to crew issues. This wasn't possible as we had already packed, arranged childcare, and have 2 infant children. Arrival time kept being pushed back, and the movers didn't arrive until 3pm. I asked if there would be enough time for them to finish the job and they said yes. By early evening, the truck was full and the job was nowhere near complete. We were then told the movers were reaching their legal work-hour limit. At that point we learned: * Our move was allegedly not marked as confirmed * The free kitchen pack was missing from the manifest * The manifest incorrectly listed seven deep freezers (we have one) We were told only essential items could be unloaded and that the rest of our belongings would be stored overnight in freezing temperatures and we were required to pay $800 even though they job was not anywhere near done. We were then quoted $2,200 for that unfinished day, despite the original $1,400 quote. The following morning, no one arrived at the promised time and no phone call as promised. When they did arrive later, they required payment before unloading and stated the final total was $3,300. They offered two options . 1. Pay $2,200 which takes off the second day 2. Pay the full $3,334with a 25% discount We refused as we should not be responsible for the second day and them not completing the job as promised . They had our belongings returned to our original home. The moving crew themselves were professional and hardworking, but management and office communication--largely handled through a Texas corporate office--were entirely misleading and ineffective. DO NOT TRUST THE QUOTE or the communication. I would not recommend this company.

I have her voicemail and would attach it here if reviews permitted that. I was told that I would receive a phone call prior to the movers arriving. I waited this morning and didn't receive one. Then I called was informed that the movers were there waiting for 45 minutes and that I was responsible for paying for that time they waited because someone wrote my phone number incorrectly. When I called, Ann said "normal people" would be where they are supposed to be. They decided to have three movers and NEVER informed me. They moved the same stuff from my old house to the storage with 2 movers. Costing me $77 more per hour more than anticipated. I didn't authorize an additional mover. The owner came to my house last time to give me a quote and left his business card. I have misplaced it (while moving) and Ann refuses to give me his contact info.

I've had several good experiences with Two Guys but have been disappointed by my recent move with them. It was a two-day move: packing and loading on the first day and loading and delivering on the second day. They failed to tell me they were going to drop off a load at the new house on the second day before coming to the old house to finish loading and delivering, so they were at the new house with a truckful and no way to get in while I was waiting for them at the old house. That threw off the rest of the day. But worse, as I unpack wardrobe boxes now, I see that - despite my specific request at the outset that they NOT put extra items in the bottoms of the wardrobes - that's exactly what they did: crammed all kinds of unrelated stuff in the bottoms. Difficult to fish out, everything is wrinkled and disheveled, and I'm in chaos trying to sort it. I had booked this move two months in advance and planned down to the last detail, but I guess poor service wins in the end.
