I cannot recommend them highly enough. We hired My Movers Inc. for an interstate move (about 12 hours away.) After a short phone call, they responded with a rough estimate based on the size of our home the following morning, which was a great response time. They scheduled an in-person walkthrough that week, showed up on time, and had an itemized, specific estimate by the end of it. We were able to schedule the move then and there, and were given guidelines on how to pack our things for the move and what wasn't allowed (e.g. liquids, fragile loose items, etc.) on the truck. Movers showed up right on schedule and cleared our packed belongings and furniture in under 2 hours. Similar story for unloading: they arrived right on time, and got all our stuff off the truck in 2 hours. Even though we didn't have a ton of stuff, I was impressed with how quickly they were able to load and unload. Everyone we interacted with throughout the process was friendly and polite. We ultimately came in slightly under the original estimate, which may not always be the case, but I appreciate when a business estimates high. Pleasant surprises are always better than unpleasant ones. :)

They were to get a 24 ft truck and instead, 2 16 ft trucks arrived. The movers reassured them that the items they packed would be sure to fit in a 24 ft truck. Alas, AFTER the trucks arrived in Indy, my dad got a call that their items would not all fit and asked him what things they could remove to donate. My dad had to then decide on a few things and agreed to get rid of a bookshelf, 2 chairs, and a long ladder, that he was hoping to keep, but had no choice since the truck was already in Indy. They also forced him to pay an additional $900 to keep other times that weren't going to fit, but he didn't want to give away. If he had wanted to keep all of his items, then he would have had to pay an additional $1500. If they had originally showed up in Columbus with the correct sized truck, all of this could have been avoided. The move story gets worse. When their items arrived at their new home a few weeks later, over $3000 worth of items were missing that they never consented to them throwing out, including two coffee tables, a queen bed, 4 chairs, and other boxes of items. Some items have been in the family for many decades and we will never get them back. My dad has sent multiple emails but still hasn't heard back. Very disappointing and made an emotional move even more heartbreaking. Edited to respond to your comment: Of course you don't have an account with my name, my parents used your company. Hands down, this has been the BEST moving experience of my life. From scheduling the move, to the courtesy of the team, their efficiency...5 stars! The gentleman who scheduled my move over the phone was attentive, knowledgeable and provided costs to me upfront. There was no confusion on what we would be paying and they had plenty availability for the day that we wanted. The morning of our move, the gentlemen called me 30 minutes before arriving and guess what? They arrived EXACTLY at their start time! They promptly got to work, asking us during a quick walkthrough what things we needed packed up (apartment move to a house). They were friendly, laughing and talking to us, and very swift. They packed up our apartment and attached garage in a few hours and set off to our storage unit to pack the rest. YES - they stopped at our storage in the middle of the move to get the rest of our belongings! On the way to our new home, a 3rd mover from their team called me to inquire if I wanted to have a 3rd person to keep making the move go faster (as a member of the first team's shift had ended). I said yes, and the new team member showed up with the original team and kept going. I can't stress how polite these young men were! They gave us recommendations and asked our preferences all day! The biggest thing of all was that they moved a 400 lb safe up to the top floor of my house with not a scratch to any floor or wall!!! I was blown away. These young men were so considerate that they changed their shoe covers EVERY TIME they walked onto our new flooring and carpet! You guys can imagine how many trips they made...I just can't stop saying how courteous and polite they were. In the end, the money we paid was a great bargain for all that they helped with.
