Do not waste your time or money on this irresponsible, dishonest thief…read more I hired Anthony and 2 of his moving crew to move my disabled mother out of 1 single room in an assisted living facility in Castleton (after picking up 7 boxes, a mini fridge, and a microwave from my home in Southport 1st), and in to a new apartment in Fishers with her sister. 1) they didn't bring a dolly, restraining straps for items in the truck, or the wardrobe boxes we requested and they said the would bring. 2) because they didn't bring restraining straps, the top half of my moms China cabinet fell over and broke the glass shelves that they didn't even bother to take out and wrap (with the overpriced and unused wrapping material they still charged her for), and tried to tell me it was because China cabinet glass shelves are usually glued in (which I've never seen done in any kind of display cabinetry).  Anthony told me he would replace the shelves because he knew someone who could cut custom glass, and contact me either Tuesday the 2nd or Wednesday the 3rd with the details/update. 3) they literally took twice as long to move my mom's single room at the facility (4 hours), than the 2 man team from All Star Movers did for my Aunt's entire old apartment (2 hours). It actually ended up cheaper moving my Aunt's entire apartment ($575) from Muncie to Fishers, than to move my mom's single room ($620) from Castleton to Fishers. 4) in addition to breaking the China cabinet shelves, they also did something to my mom's medically necessary electric lift chair that helps her stand up (either dropped it, or jammed it through a doorway) that now causes it to pop and drop whenever she tries to use it to stand up. I have witnesses from the assisted living facility staff that her chair was in perfect working order earlier in the day before it was moved. (In fact it worked right before they moved it because she had to use it to transfer to her wheelchair!) We discovered this around 8pm that Monday night when she tried to use it to stand to get in the wheelchair and go to the bathroom. I immediately took a video and text it to him with the following 2 messages: "Uh... your guys did something to the recliner too" and "It didn't pop like that when she put it down before". The only message I got back from him about it was at 11:44 the next day, and I quote "I'm not sure how that's possible..for my guys to do that..can u turn it on its side and see if some is jammed in between it..please" to which I replied "I did right after I took that video. Nothing stood out as an obvious cause." That was the last contact I had with him. When I tried to text or call him on Monday November 8th to get an update, I found out that he had the audacity to block my number. "Free Msg: Receiver 3179751805 unable to receive message - Message Blocking is active." I am now looking at what we need to do to take him to small claims court. This is completely unacceptable. Especially since its against a disabled elder who only gets less than $800/month from SSI. Shame on you Anthony.  May you reap what you have sown.

About 4 hours into the re-delivery of our belongings by their crew, we discovered that much of our furniture and personal property which had already brought into our new home appeared to be covered in mold. The contamination affected our brand-new home and required professional remediation. As a result, we were displaced and forced to live in a hotel for 50 nights while the issue was addressed. The owner, John Craft, acknowledged to us that our belongings had gotten wet and remained on their moving trucks for a period of time during the hot and humid month of June. Despite assurances from the company's insurance carrier, we have received very little communication or resolution. More than seven months later, we still do not have our belongings and have had to retain legal counsel to pursue claims against both Soft Touch Moving and the insurance company. This experience has been incredibly disruptive to our lives. Based on our experience, we would strongly caution others before trusting this company with their belongings.

For every response I gave the exact mileage and sent photos of the headboard so that everyone knew exactly what I was requesting. Jacob was quick to respond, answered my questions and confirmed the date and time I needed. They confirmed the date and time the day before the move and on the morning of as well. Jacob and Sean arrived on time. They came in and assessed the headboard and proceeded to thoroughly wrap up the headboard in furniture protective pads. After they ensured the headboard was fully protected, they proceeded to move the headboard out my house and to their enclosed trailer. They arrived to the destination timely and moved the headboard up a flight of stairs to a second level apartment. They carefully unwrapped the headboard after we decided on the location. They also sent a follow up message to ensure all went well on the move. They were very fair on pricing for the distance, time and effort required. I will definitely consider using them again in the future if I am needing any type of moving services.

My roommate reached out and did the coordinating. He filled out the quote form and they never gave us a quote. The woman he coordinated with said she didn't work in the field so she wouldn't be able to give us an estimate even though we provided a list of items needed moved and our two houses were only 7 minutes away from each other. We confirmed two days before and the day before to make sure the move was still on, as the weather was going to be very cold. We were moving in December. They confirmed the time with us, a window of 9-10 am and showed up at 11:20 am. They did not have uniforms on (the website said they would be uniformed) and were not dressed for the cold. Some were wearing zip up hoodies. No jackets and no gloves. The website also they said they would provide mattress bags and they did not. Instead they brought mine and my 3 roommates' mattress out to the curb and set them in the snow while they loaded up the truck with other items. They asked to borrow our tools and then we never got them back nor did we get our hand cart back. We can only assume that they must have taken it with them when they left as it is hard to lose a hand cart! When we got to the new house our team of five men had dropped down to three. The move was taking even longer because of that. We were being charged hourly and now the team of movers was down man power. No one let us know why. Once they were done getting everything into the new house wooden floors were scratched and corners were shredded to the point there were little piles of paint and wood on the floor. My roommate's bed frame was taken apart (with our now missing screw driver) and put back together so poorly we realized it was actually BROKEN! It has pull out drawers that now when you pull on them the whole side of the bed frame comes off. His dresser with a marble top was scratched beyond belief! Other stuff happened and was damaged, but I don't need to write a whole novel. In the end I was put on the spot to pay. The means of communication when it came to paying was confusing. We were not told how it was going to be done before hand. In the end I, the person who did not coordinate with the team, was passed a phone from one of the movers and was ON SPEAKER while a woman from the office asked TWO TIMES if I would like to leave a tip in addition to the total price ($1,800, way over what we thought it would be. But hey they didn't give us a quote). I refused both times while on speaker in front of the three man crew that was left. I paid with my credit card over the phone and handed the iPhone back to the mover and they left. My roommate who was the point person for the move was then called five minutes later by the same woman at the office and she told my roommate that I did not leave a tip and asked if he would like to leave a tip. By this point we had done a sweep of the house and saw the damages in full. We documented the damages and sent over photos. We were told that management would be contacted, but we have received no updates from them on how to make this right. Their website states they have damage protection, so I assume they would be able to cover damages or at least give us some money back! I don't recommend this moving service. I really don't know what else to say.

They damaged walls, wooden floors, broke a bed frame, almost left behind pieces of the broken bed frame, even after my partner and I separately told them about said broken pieces. They lost screws to the same bed frame. They chipped and scratched multiple wooden furniture pieces AND a marble top dresser!! They did NOT WRAP OUR MATTRESSES AT ALL AND LITERALLY LET THEM TOUCH THE SNOWY GROUND OUTSIDE!!! They ignored me for 30 days now after admitting over the phone that we did not receive their standard of service. They admitted the billing hours started at the scheduled time, NOT the time they arrived and stated it would start that day. They didn't bring gloves or tools. They had to borrow my Phillips head screwdriver, like are you serious? You didn't bring a SCREWDRIVER when I said during scheduling that a bed frame would need to be disassembled for moving? They didn't put pads on top of the dressers, hence the scratches. A my screwdriver and a dolly of ours also conveniently never re-appeared after the movers left. And guess what. They asked for a tip THREE TIMES. Even called me back to make sure we meant to not tip. They also took 30 mins to drive 2 miles. Twice. It's a 7-8 minute drive. They didn't say they were going to lunch or anything. There is so much more I can say. I really tried to be patient and kind and understanding, but I'm really frustrated with the lack of customer service we've received and the way they keep avoiding me to make things right. He even was able to come earlier than expected due to another job finishing early. He and his partner did a great job moving my stuff, especially my heavy bedroom set. They put everything where I asked and Darren even put up all my curtains. I was so happy with the job they did that I hired them 3 years later to help me move into my new home. Again he gave me a reasonable quote especially for being a repeat customer. I really like that he gives the option to do monthly payments if needed. Darren is my go-to guy for moving.

First off, the price the estimated and the price they charged were very far off. They only had two people and one of them clearly hadn't moved much before as he had to ask how to move many of the items. The other guy was Darren, the person who runs this company. We had a simple one room apartment move to another apartment just 30 minutes away. It took them over 6 hours for this move, and if it wasn't for myself unpacking a bunch of items off the truck while they slowly moved things off the elevator, it would have been over 7 hours. While we were unpacking we found that they broke our Colts LED lamp, spilt all of my girlfriends jewelry and just put it in a bag, and best of all dropped my Xbox One on the wood floor and then instantly blamed it on us for the box it was in. The xbox now will not read disks and they refuse to refund anything despite they're "If damage occurs during your move, we reimburse you the same day" BS policy. Best of all, I think this company doesn't realize they are in the customer service business. After contacting them about the broken items, here are some of the insults and just disgusting-ness from Darren (their head man/"CEO"); "Roughly calculate, appoximate, guess, ballpark, etc. You get the picture!!" "Your lucky it was done in that amount of time" "If the payment doesn't go through as the receipt states, then you will pay attorney fees, court cost, and immediate garnishment." All in all, we had everything packed and ready to go for a ONE BEDROOM apartment and it took them over 6 hours to move it. They are very rude and inconsiderate in person and when you contact them. They WILL break items of yours, and at least from the 2 reviews on here, you will have to take legal action if you want them refunded. If there was a way to give a 0 out of 5 for this review I would not hesitate to use it. THIS IS A BAD COMPANY, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!
